FOr some reason i cant pull data from an XML file to insert into the database, it works without error just adds a blank value in the database?

i have this code at the moment, i guess arrayValue[71] is the value i need to pull and add to the "TABLE2" table, but when i run the script it just adds a blank value in the database?

I have a PDF form that generates an XFDF file (form field valies in XML form) and I am passing it to PHP for processing. I am having trouble pulling a specific value from the XML block because of the way that the XML data is generated and organized. Please see a sample of the XML block below:

I am having trouble pulling a youtube embedded code from my database. Everything else comes out fine however it just doesnt pull anything out where the embedded code is supposed to be. im trying to pull my content dynamically. im almost there but im stuck with some code.

so i have a layout with 3 columns and in each column i have a place holder. ph01, ph02, ph03

each page has its own id and depending on what the page id is i what to pull different elements into the 3 placeholders.

so for this code in the database i have the following:

The above code takes data entered in a form and is suppose to show the matching results, but no records are showing, it works when I replace the $name1 and $type2 with the actual values, any ideas?

Hello all,
Would anyone know how to fix this code to work so that when a user fills out a simple form it update a row in my database? The code below doesn't get the parameters from the form. 
The $sql = 'UPDATE services SET `Description` = "$description1" WHERE ID=1'; line works perfect only its putting in the $description literally no form parameters??
I have a feeling I need to handle this a different way but other trys with different code were not successful.

I am pulling records from a mysql db.   

Example Output:

What I need now is to add ONE more output, which is whether this is a "WIN" or a "LOSS".

Should I add a field into the table that calc's this?    If so, how?   Please be specific.

Or, should I use php to compare Team A score vs Team B score PER every record and then insert this new variable into the output.    If so, how do I create a new variable value for every single output in the table?


I know ultimately that this is a IF THEN type of calc, but can't quite figure out how specifically.

This has been bugging me for 24 hours now. I have created 2 web applications. The first one is the dummy, and the second one is the final. Basically, this two web applications does the same, just a few modifications made on the final one. I have a process of pulling out of information from the database should the user would want to modify a field. I have a problem though, the dummy one works perfectly, but the new one don't. In fact, if I use the dummy php file together with the new files, the dummy won't be working. But if I use it together with the old files, it works perfectly fine.

Let me start by saying i need any help put to me in dumb person terms, i know nothing but the bare bare basics of most web coding let alone php, enough to make very simple pages and forms.

On to my problem... What i am aiming for us a single web page which takes a list of names from a file, generates a 2 column table, makes the second column into boxes where data can be entered in to, then i want it to be submitted to email in the form of a html email, the email doesn't need any fancy formatting or colour scheme, just want the the table of names and entered information sent

So i've got it generating the table from the list of names in the file called "7B.txt" all i need to be able to do is making the second column in to a data entry box and generating the email

Hi. I am trying to figure out the best approach to pull THE most recent record for display, and ONLY the most recent one. I am really not sure how to go about doing this. Ive just started into stored procedure programming and php, but havent found anything yet on this one. Thanks.

My first post and I am not a programmer or familiar with the correct vocabulary associated with php. I thought I would give the following a go as it is the holidays and my php programmer is no where to be found.

I am ok at following scripts to get a simple result, unfortunately the listing manager I am using is coded with Zend. The system is built on a curve2.com and I am pretty much stuck with what exists. I would like to add some more php outputs, which I don't think are too complicated, but I can't seem to get my head around pulling information from multiple tables in to 1 result.

I am trying to pull all the data from a 'Listing' table in to 4 columns, which works ok. What I can not get around is trying to link up the 'Image' table to my 'Listing' table and pulling the main image in to my php output. There is a common 'id' but each 'id' has 4+ images and I would like to select the just main one and resize it smaller.

The image table, called 'images' has 3 fields

'id' - individual photos id's
'listid' - Id record to the listing table
'fname' - image name

Any guidance would be much appreciated on how to get the primary image on to the table.
