PHP - How To Make Pdf Files Using Php5 On Windows And Also Send Pdf As An Email
I'm a beginner in PHP I was wondering if this is easy to do or if i'd have to outsource this to a programmer -
Basically when a user fills in the PHP Form and submits it I need this to generate as a PDF which will then email/attach to MY email and NOT the user who submitted this form. I have looked at tcpdf, fpdi but i dont think any of those scripts allow me to do this specifically as from what i heard it generates a download link for the user, and that is not what i need. The fiel field is optional though, it doesn't need to be filled. All my textfields, checkboxes and dropdowns are coming through email nicely. Only thing that isn't coming my way are the files i attach. I need your help as many PHPers here is more experienced in PHP coding than me. I have specific project I am working on and need a piece of code that can send an email from HTML form using PHP to the email address that is entered manually on the form, instead of standard sent to PHP code that is fixed within PHP script and executed during submission. I want sth that can grab manually enetered recipient's e-mail address, paste it to the PHP code and then use it to send the email to the recipient, instead of fixed sent to code. Something would say dynamically changed during the entry that can inject into PHP code the new address email entered on the form and then submit to it. Any ideas will be great.

Edited March 27, 2019 by slawotrend I have a small php upload/download script, it always worked on older php4 -5 but not on php5.3 ,gobal varitables must be on , I dont know to much about php and was hoping someone will look at at and let me know what to change to make it work on php5.3 or higher..............................THANKS! for any help in fixing this issue

I set up functionality for a client that got moved to their server after I wrote and tested the functionality. It does not work on their server and I am trying to trouble shoot the problem as I do not have ftp access to the server.
I believe that I have narrowed it down to either I do not know how to access the temp files on their server, Windows IIS, OR the security on the server is not allowing me to upload to the temp files.

Hi, I have a question. Can I actually use windows hosting on .php files, or .php files are only suitable to linux domain? The code below currently sends a separate Email with data from each row of a table when a Save All button is pressed. So, if I have 4 rows of data, 4 Email will be sent.

Im still trying to work this one out but what i would like to do is send an email if an alert is present. but not resend the email on every page refresh where the alert is still present. so i was thinking of using something like $_SESSION['sent_time'] to record when the last email was sent and only send another email if the current time is greater than 10 mins from the $_SESSION['sent_time']. Yes, this is part of a Wordpress plugin. It's a small part of a large plugin that I have a LOT of time investing in setting up, so I can't just look for an alternate plugin. I really need to get this one to work.
