PHP - Can I Create An Executable Link From A Value In An Output Table?
In this output table, I would like to be able to click on any number in the ama row, add .html to that value and then execute the link.
Example: If the ama number in row 3 is 890543, add .html to the number = 890543.html, then click on it to link to that web page. <?php // Connect to database ========================================= include("connect_db.php"); $table1='passwords'; $table2='airplanes'; // send query =================================================== $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $table2") or die(mysql_error()); if (!$result) { die("Query to show fields from table failed"); } echo "<table border='10' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='2'>"; echo "<p>View All Airplanes</p>"; echo "<tr> <th>ID</th> <th>AMA #</th> <th>Model Name</th> <th>Model MFG</th><th>Wingspan</th><th>Engine</th><th>Decibels</th></tr>"; // keeps getting the next row until there are no more to get ================ while($row = mysql_fetch_array( $result )) { // Print out the contents of each row into a table ========================== echo "<tr><td>"; echo $row['id']; echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['ama']; // Append .html to this number echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['model_name']; echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['model_mfg']; echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['wingspan']; echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['engine']; echo "</td><td>"; echo $row['decibels']; echo "</td></tr>"; } echo "</table>"; ?> Similar TutorialsHi, I need a quick tip. I want this script to produce an output of "Table created" if it succesfully creates a table. <?php $con = mysql_connect("localhost","****","****"); if (!$con) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); } // Create table mysql_select_db("my_db", $con); $sql = "CREATE TABLE People ( FirstName varchar(15), LastName varchar(15), Age int )"; // Execute query mysql_query($sql,$con); mysql_close($con); ?> I tried to do it on my own, but I guess I'm still completely new to php I tried: <?php $con = mysql_connect("localhost","****","****"); if (!$con) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); } // Create table if (mysql_select_db("my_db", $con)) { echo "Table created"; } else { echo "Error creating Table: " . mysql_error(); } $sql = "CREATE TABLE People ( FirstName varchar(15), LastName varchar(15), Age int )" // Execute query mysql_query($sql,$con); mysql_close($con); ?> It gave me an error with the last two lines mysql_query($sql,$con); mysql_close($con); I removed them and it really did give the output "Table created" yet it didn't create the table in the database. I'm having a feeling that I need to add an "if" statement, something of the sort. if (sql(CREATE TABLE Persons)) But I'm also getting the feeling something there is wrong, I still haven't tried it. Help? Hi I've got this database I created with fields ProductId ProductName Image I've managed to get it to list the ID,productname, and Image urls in a list. My next step is to have the image field actually display an image and make it clickable: heres what I've done so far: Code: [Select] <?php $con = mysql_connect("localhost","root",""); if (!$con) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); } mysql_select_db("productfeed", $con); $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM productfeeds"); echo "<table border='0'> <tr> <th>Firstname</th> <th>Lastname</th> <th>Image</th> </tr>"; while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { echo "<tr>"; echo "<td>" . $row['ProductID'] . "</td>"; echo "<td>" . $row['ProductName'] . "</td>"; echo "<td>" . $row['ImageURL'] . "</td>"; echo "</tr>"; } echo "</table>"; mysql_close($con); ?> Heres what I want to do: Code: [Select] while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { echo "<tr>"; echo "<td>" . $row['ProductID'] . "</td>"; echo "<td>" . $row['ProductName'] . "</td>"; // my changes beneath echo "<td>" . <a href="<?php echo $row['ImageURL'];?>"> <img src="<?php echo $row['LinkURL']; ?>"> </a>. And also a link that links to a cart.html that takes the values of a $_SESSION variable. I am have trouble figuring what tag/attribute should I use in order to achieve that.
Right now my code attached below submits the checked values to cart.html directly. However I want my submit button to save the checked box to a $_SESSION variable and STAY on the same page. And then I will implement a <a> to link to the cart.php.
I researched a little bit about this subject and I know it's somewhat related to ajax/jquery. I just wanted to know more about it from you guys. I appreciate your attention for reading the post and Thanks!
Below is the form that I currently have:
<form name= "finalForm" method="POST" action="cart.php"> <input type="Submit" name="finalSelected"/> <?php foreach($FinalName as $key => $item) {?> <tr> <td><input type="checkbox" name="fSelected[]" value="<?php echo htmlspecialchars($FinalID[$key])?>" /> <?php echo "$FinalID[$key] & $item";?> </td> </tr> <?php } ;?>Below is the code for cart.php <?php require ('connect_db.php'); if(isset($_POST['finalSelected'])) { if(!empty($_POST['fSelected'])) { $chosen = $_POST['fSelected']; foreach ($chosen as $item) echo "aID selected: $item </br>"; $delimit = implode(", ", $chosen); print_r($delimit); } } if(isset($delimit)) { $cartSQL = "SELECT * from article where aID in ($delimit)"; $cartQuery = mysqli_query($dbc, $cartSQL) or die (mysqli_error($dbc)); while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($cartQuery, MYSQLI_BOTH)) { $aTitle[] = $row[ 'name' ]; } } ?> <table> <?php if(isset($delimit)) { $c=0; foreach($aTitle as $item) {?> <tr> <td> <?php echo $aTitle[$c]; $c++;?> </td> </tr> <?php }}?> </table> I am wanting to create a basic product listing page for a product category called "Belts". I'm not really interested in styling at the moment, I just want to see the PHP-MySQL work at the most basic level. I am unsure what the error cosde means. Can anyone see a fault in my code? Hello everyone. I need help with the following PHP APP. I am running on (Version PHP 7.2.10) I am trying to have a page table form on table.php pass the input variable of “5-Numbers” to another page called table_results.php I want that variable string of “5-Numbers” to be compared against 4 arrays and output any duplicates found within each of those 4 lists. If nothing is found, I still want some visual output that reads “None found”.
Lets pretend I have the following example .. On table.php, I typed inside my table form the 5-Numbers .. INPUT: 2,15,37,13,28 On table_results.php, the 4 arrays to be compared against my input numbers “ 2,15,37,13,28” are ..
$array_A = array(2,6,8,11,14,18,24); $array_B = array(1,2,9,10,13,14,25,28,); $array_C = array(1,3,7,9,13,15,20,21,24); $array_D = array(4,5,12,22,23,27,28,29);
So my output should read as follows below .. OUTPUT:
TABLE COLUMN 1 COLUMN 2 ROW 1 Matches Found Results .. ROW 2 GROUP A: 2 ROW 3 GROUP B: 2,13,28 ROW 4 GROUP ? 13,15 ROW 5 GROUP ? 28 ROW 6 5#s Input: 2,15,37,13,28
Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions on how to go about it. Thanks. I'm wondering if anyone has any good ideas for the best way to get this done? I need to extract the data from each of the <tr bgcolor="#EEEEEE">, scrape the text within each <td></td> and then format it in sql. so far i have removed the html not required and created an array by exploding "<tr bgcolor="#EEEEEE">", however, its creating an empty element in the first array index [0], to fix this i have tried $players = array_shift($players); however it removed everything from the array. next i was thinking i would need to remove all html within each array element and add a comma to the end, then i would need to compress it all back together again? would this be the best way to do this? source html <html> <head> <title><br/></title> <style type ="text/css"> body,td,th { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; } th { padding: 5px; text-align: left; } td { padding: 2px; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px } </style> </head> <body> <center><B><br/> </center></B> <p> <table bordercolor="#000000" width="90%" align="center"> <tr bgcolor="#EEEEEE"> <th>UID</th> <th>Name</th> <th>Nat</th> <th>Position</th> <th>Best Pos</th> <th>Age</th> <th>DoB</th> <th>Height</th> <th>Weight</th> <th>Expires</th> <th>Wage</th> <th>Value</th> <th>Aer</th> <th>Cmd</th> <th>Com</th> <th>Ecc</th> <th>Han</th> <th>Kic</th> <th>1v1</th> <th>Pun</th> <th>Ref</th> <th>TRO</th> <th>Thr</th> <th>Cor</th> <th>Cro</th> <th>Dri</th> <th>Fin</th> <th>Fir</th> <th>Fre</th> <th>Hea</th> <th>Lon</th> <th>L Th</th> <th>Mar</th> <th>Pas</th> <th>Pen</th> <th>Tck</th> <th>Tec</th> <th>Agg</th> <th>Ant</th> <th>Bra</th> <th>Cmp</th> <th>Cnt</th> <th>Dec</th> <th>Det</th> <th>Fla</th> <th>Ldr</th> <th>OtB</th> <th>Pos</th> <th>Tea</th> <th>Vis</th> <th>Wor</th> <th>Acc</th> <th>Agi</th> <th>Bal</th> <th>Jum</th> <th>Nat</th> <th>Pac</th> <th>Sta</th> <th>Str</th> </tr> <tr bgcolor="#EEEEEE"> <td>859596</td> <td>Tim Krul</td> <td>NED</td> <td>GK</td> <td>GK</td> <td>31</td> <td>3/4/1988 (31 years old)</td> <td>194 cm</td> <td>83 kg</td> <td>30/6/2022</td> <td>£25,000 p/w</td> <td>£12.75M</td> <td>15</td> <td>13</td> <td>14</td> <td>8</td> <td>13</td> <td>13</td> <td>15</td> <td>12</td> <td>16</td> <td>15</td> <td>12</td> <td>1</td> <td>2</td> <td>1</td> <td>3</td> <td>8</td> <td>4</td> <td>5</td> <td>3</td> <td>2</td> <td>2</td> <td>9</td> <td>4</td> <td>3</td> <td>8</td> <td>11</td> <td>12</td> <td>14</td> <td>13</td> <td>13</td> <td>12</td> <td>14</td> <td>2</td> <td>14</td> <td>2</td> <td>15</td> <td>10</td> <td>5</td> <td>13</td> <td>11</td> <td>13</td> <td>14</td> <td>17</td> <td>13</td> <td>8</td> <td>14</td> <td>10</td> </tr> <tr bgcolor="#EEEEEE"> <td>5204730</td> <td>Michael McGovern</td> <td>NIR</td> <td>GK</td> <td>GK</td> <td>34</td> <td>12/7/1984 (34 years old)</td> <td>188 cm</td> <td>86 kg</td> <td>30/6/2021</td> <td>£8,000 p/w</td> <td>£875K</td> <td>12</td> <td>11</td> <td>10</td> <td>2</td> <td>12</td> <td>12</td> <td>12</td> <td>11</td> <td>13</td> <td>8</td> <td>10</td> <td>5</td> <td>2</td> <td>1</td> <td>3</td> <td>9</td> <td>7</td> <td>6</td> <td>3</td> <td>3</td> <td>2</td> <td>7</td> <td>1</td> <td>2</td> <td>5</td> <td>7</td> <td>12</td> <td>14</td> <td>13</td> <td>13</td> <td>11</td> <td>17</td> <td>1</td> <td>12</td> <td>7</td> <td>12</td> <td>15</td> <td>10</td> <td>15</td> <td>10</td> <td>13</td> <td>12</td> <td>12</td> <td>12</td> <td>8</td> <td>15</td> <td>14</td> </tr> </table> <p> <p align="center"> </body> </html>

I have the record displayed in text boxes for editing, but the white space between words is not showing up. Only the first word will show up. I have tried changing the field type in the table to text or blob instead of varchar, and I have tried using the nl2br function when displaying the records, but that isn't working either. The f_print function finds the logos, and their sizes. So the 'mainlogo' type is a pull down of the thumbnail at 200px size.
What I need to do is write CSS and PHP which will display these results in a grid, 4 colums across, and as many down as results from the array. At the moment all I can get is all the results in one column. What tutorials would I need to write appropriate CSS to create this, and then is it as simple as adding the div prior to the echo of the $echo variable? Thanks Hello, I seem to have some problem with my script that has a goal of outputting data about the file size when a filename is queried.
The sql table name is file
The table columns are as followed: id | name | mime | size
The file name is stored in name. The script that i have that gets the file name is:
