PHP - Php Submit Url Script
Hello,
I am trying to write a script to submit my blog to search engines. Can anybody please give me a link or an example of some code to help me get started.. I have done a Google Search but all the examples I see are encrypted. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Steve Similar TutorialsI'm having problems creating a working submit button for a php script. The script is sitting on index.php and if I browse to that page it will send the email as required... great. So I though happy days I'll make a simple button for it... 6 hours later no joking. Firstly this is working php <?php require 'includes/PHPMailer.php'; require 'includes/SMTP.php'; require 'includes/Exception.php'; use PHPMailer\PHPMailer\PHPMailer; use PHPMailer\PHPMailer\SMTP; use PHPMailer\PHPMailer\Exception; $mail = new PHPMailer(); $mail->isSMTP(); $mail->Host = "smtp.gmail.com"; $mail->SMTPAuth = "true"; $mail->SMTPSecure = "tls"; $mail->Port = "587"; $mail->Username = "Myemail@gmail.com"; $mail->Password = "Pass"; $mail->Subject = "Test email using PhPmailer"; $mail->setFrom("Myemail@gmail.com"); $mail->isHTML(true); $mail->addAttachment('img/LifesaverFootage.mp4'); $mail->Body = "<h1>This is a HTML heading</h1></br><p>Title</p>"; $mail->addAddress("myemail@gmail.com"); if ($mail->Send() ) { echo "Email sent..!"; } else{ echo "Error..!"; } $mail->smtpClose(); ?> Now I've been at this with everything but a blow torch these are some attempts below. I've also tried to just href to the page. All that happens is it creates another copy of the index.php file as if it were a download. The last thing I wanted to do was wrap this up as a function and I wanted to try something to do with Isset. But it won't even load the page if I define it as a function and then call it. I know I'm defining and calling the function correctly as I can do an echo function. Surely it couldn't be this hard. I mean all the thing has to do is dang trigger the page for goodness sake. Lol sighhhhhhh...Please help

</body> I have a problem that is particular to the FF and Safari browsers. I do not see the problem in IE. Again, I am very new to php programming - no formal training - just a hacker. I have a web page that presents a form with a results table and a SUBMIT button. Each time the button is selected I want to present one of two different tables of results. Everything works fine the first time I hit the SUBMIT button. The page updates and shows the second table. But on the next SUBMIT the script that swaps things around is executed twice in FF and Safari vs. one time like in EI. This results in the same result table being displayed over and over vs. the two switching back and forth. Any idea what could be going wrong in these two browsers? Here's my swap script: Code: [Select] <?php session_start(); // This script reverses the coin flip to see what would happen the other way if ($_SESSION['Coin_Flip'] == "heads") { //switch to tails $_SESSION['Coin_Flip'] = "tails"; include ('tails_algo.php'); } elseif ($_SESSION['Coin_Flip'] == "tails") { $_SESSION['Coin_Flip'] = "heads"; include ('heads_algo.php'); } include ('kind-comp_result.php'); ?> i need to submit 1 article (3 input fields: title, category, description), to multiple sites. it must be done with 1 click. one more thing... each site to which i have to submit has different input names, but are the same 3, also 1 is for title 1 for category and 1 for description. You would think the answer would be all over the Internet and easy to find, but it’s not. I have searched many times, and in all the multitude of search results I have still never found an adequate usable answer. The MOST you ever find is someone saying how easy it is with PHP, but they don’t tell you how, even when the person they are answering asks them (odd). You can be that one in a billion person who finally answers it for real and helps someone out. I have a simple HTML form with data fields first_name, last_name, email, phone, country, a few hidden inputs, and a single submit button, like so: (Please note: the method is GET, not Post.) <form action="https://MyDomainOnMyServer.com/MyPHPScript.php”> <input type="text" name="first_name" value="" /> <input type="text" name="last_name" value="" /> <input type="text" name="email" value="" /> <input type="text" name="phone" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="type" value="type123"> <input type="hidden" name="project" value="new123"> <select required name="country"> <option value="">Choose your country</option> <option value="US">United States</option> <option value="CA">Canada</option> <option value="GB">United Kingdom</option> <option value="Many More">Many More Countries</option> </select> <input type="submit" value="Submit Form" /> </form> NOTE: Originally, the form action would have been: action="https://TheirExampleDomainOnTheirRemoteServer.com/TheirRemotePHPScript.php" name="form1234" Upon clicking the single submit button only, what I need to have happen is this: 1. Send me an email to whatever@whatever.tld containing all the form submission data 2. Place the form submission data into a MySQL database having the corresponding data fields 3. Send the form submission contents including the hidden input values to "https://TheirExampleDomainOnTheirRemoteServer.com/TheirRemotePHPScript.php" name="form1234" AS IF that had remained set as the original form action to begin with So basically what I’m trying to obtain is the cleanest possible PHP script that will do those three things, which is essentially what others have asked for over the years in search results I have found, but no one has ever provided it in a clear instance that works. If I can just see such a script, I should be able to see how it works and then do what I need. Thanks. Reply Say I have an "Entries" table. I want to submit same multiple entries using a form submission. And If I have other queries submitted in the same form, I want those quarries to be submitted only once. Is that possible to do? Here's my code. if(isset($_POST['submit'])) { $entries = 10; $id = 55; $name = 'Smith'; $insert = $db->prepare("INSERT INTO entries(id, name) VALUES(:id, :name)"); $insert->bindParam(':id', $id); $insert->bindParam(':name', $name); $result_insert = $insert->execute(); if($result_insert == false) { echo 'Fail'; } else { echo 'Success'; } } ?> <form action="" method="post"> <input type="submit" name="submit" value="SUBMIT" /> </form> Edited January 13, 2019 by imgrooot Hi. Pretty straight forward I guess but as the name suggests am a newbie. I have a form that requires the user to enter certain parameters. If the values are blank it submits to itself and loads the error messages. What I want to do is create PHP code that submits the form to a different url. What I thought was create two forms (the second with hidden fields replicating the first form), each form having a different url in the action"" code. What I cant work out is the PHP IF ELSE code to submit form 2 if Form1 is is validated correctly. This is the PHP code relevant to the form validation. Help? <?php //If form was submitted if ($_POST['submitted']==1) { $errormsg = ""; //Initialize errors if ($_POST[width]){ $title = $_POST[width]; //If title was entered } else{ $errormsg = "Please enter width"; } if ($_POST[drop]){ $textentry = $_POST[drop]; //If comment was entered } else{ if ($errormsg){ //If there is already an error, add next error $errormsg = $errormsg . " & content"; }else{ $errormsg = "Please enter drop"; } } } if ($errormsg){ //If any errors display them echo "<div class=\"box red\">$errormsg</div>"; } //If all fields present if ($title && $textentry){ //Do something echo 'THIS IS WHERE I WANT THE CODE TO SUBMIT FORM 2 or SUBMIT FORM 1 TO A DIFFERENT URL'; } ?> the info posts beautifully i just canst seem to get the button to auto click or submit, tried numerous ways! help Code: [Select] <?php require_once "../store/paypal/utility.php"; require_once "../store/paypal/constants.php"; $url = "https://www.".DEFAULT_ENV.".paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr"; $postFields = "cmd=".urlencode("_notify-synch"). I've been working on a php script to replace links that contain a query with direct links to the files they would redirect to. I'm having trouble echoing $year in my script. Listed below is the script, just below ,$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $dbname WHERE class LIKE '%$search%'") or die(mysql_error());, in the script I try to echo $year. It doesn't show up in the table on the webpage. Everything else works fine. Any help wold be appreciated greatly. Thanks in advance. <?php include 'config2.php'; $search=$_GET["search"]; // Connect to server and select database. mysql_connect($dbhost, $dbuser, $dbpass)or die("cannot connect"); mysql_select_db("vetman")or die("cannot select DB"); $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $dbname WHERE class LIKE '%$search%'") or die(mysql_error()); // store the record of the "" table into $row //$current = ''; echo "<table align=center border=1>"; echo "<br>"; echo "<tr>"; echo "<td align=center>"; ?> <div style="float: center;"><a><h1><?php echo $year; ?></h1></a></div> <?php echo "</td>"; echo "</tr>"; echo "</table>"; // keeps getting the next row until there are no more to get if($result && mysql_num_rows($result) > 0) { $i = 0; $max_columns = 2; echo "<table align=center>"; echo "<br>"; while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { // make the variables easy to deal with extract($row); // open row if counter is zero if($i == 0) echo "<tr>"; echo "<td align=center>"; ?> <div style="float: left;"> <div><img src="<?php echo $image1; ?>"></div> </div> <?php echo "</td>"; // increment counter - if counter = max columns, reset counter and close row if(++$i == $max_columns) { echo "</tr>"; $i=0; } // end if } // end while } // end if results // clean up table - makes your code valid! if($i > 0) { for($j=$i; $j<$max_columns;$j++) echo "<td> </td>"; echo '</tr>'; } mysql_close(); ?> </table> Hi i have this upload script which works fine it uploads image to a specified folder and sends the the details to the database. but now i am trying to instead make a modify script which is Update set so i tried to change insert to update but didnt work can someone help me out please this my insert image script which works fine but want to change to modify instead Code: [Select] <?php mysql_connect("localhost", "root", "") or die(mysql_error()) ; mysql_select_db("upload") or die(mysql_error()) ; // my file the name of the input area on the form type is the extension of the file //echo $_FILES["myfile"]["type"]; //myfile is the name of the input area on the form $name = $_FILES["image"] ["name"]; // name of the file $type = $_FILES["image"]["type"]; //type of the file $size = $_FILES["image"]["size"]; //the size of the file $temp = $_FILES["image"]["tmp_name"];//temporary file location when click upload it temporary stores on the computer and gives it a temporary name $error =array(); // this an empty array where you can then call on all of the error messages $allowed_exts = array('jpg', 'jpeg', 'png', 'gif'); // array with the following extension name values $image_type = array('image/jpg', 'image/jpeg', 'image/png', 'image/gif'); // array with the following image type values $location = 'images/'; //location of the file or directory where the file will be stored $appendic_name = "news".$name;//this append the word [news] before the name so the image would be news[nameofimage].gif // substr counts the number of carachters and then you the specify how how many you letters you want to cut off from the beginning of the word example drivers.jpg it would cut off dri, and would display vers.jpg //echo $extension = substr($name, 3); //using both substr and strpos, strpos it will delete anything before the dot in this case it finds the dot on the $name file deletes and + 1 says read after the last letter you delete because you want to display the letters after the dot. if remove the +1 it will display .gif which what we want is just gif $extension = strtolower(substr($name, strpos ($name, '.') +1));//strlower turn the extension non capital in case extension is capital example JPG will strtolower will make jpg // another way of doing is with explode // $image_ext strtolower(end(explode('.',$name))); will explode from where you want in this case from the dot adn end will display from the end after the explode $myfile = $_POST["myfile"]; if (isset($image)) // if you choose a file name do the if bellow { // if extension is not equal to any of the variables in the array $allowed_exts error appears if(in_array($extension, $allowed_exts) === false ) { $error[] = 'Extension not allowed! gif, jpg, jpeg, png only<br />'; // if no errror read next if line } // if file type is not equal to any of the variables in array $image_type error appears if(in_array($type, $image_type) === false) { $error[] = 'Type of file not allowed! only images allowed<br />'; } // if file bigger than the number bellow error message if($size > 2097152) { $error[] = 'File size must be under 2MB!'; } // check if folder exist in the server if(!file_exists ($location)) { $error[] = 'No directory ' . $location. 1. basically I'm wanting to make payments from one account to another online...like paypal does...im wondering what I would need to do to be able to do this if anyone can shine some light please?
2.as seen on google you type in a query in the search bar and it generates sentences/keywords from a database
example:
so if product "chair" was in the database
whilst typing "ch" it would show "chair" for a possible match
I know it would in tale sql & json but im after a good tutorial/script of some sort.
if anyone can help with some information/sites it would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Hello, I stored a fsockopen function in a separate "called.php" file, in order to run it as another thread when it needs. The called script should return results to the "master.php" script. I'm able to run the script to get the socket working, and I'm able to get results from the called script. I tried for hours but I can't do the twice both My master.php script (with socket working): Code: [Select] <?php $command = "(/mnt/opt/www/called.php $_SERVER[REMOTE_ADDR] &) > /dev/null"; $result = exec($command); echo ("result = $result\r\n"); ?> and my called.php script Code: [Select] #!/mnt/opt/usr/bin/php-cli -q <?php $device = $_SERVER['argv'][1]; $port = "8080"; $fp = fsockopen($device, $port, $errno, $errstr, 5); fwrite($fp, "test"); fclose($fp); echo ("normal end of the called.php script"); ?> In the master script, if I use Code: [Select] $command = "(/mnt/opt/www/called.php $_SERVER[REMOTE_ADDR] &) > /dev/null"; the socket works, but I have nothing in $result (note also that I don't anderstand why the ( ... &) are needed!?) and if I use Code: [Select] $command = "/mnt/opt/www/called.php $_SERVER[REMOTE_ADDR]"; I have the correct text "normal end of the called.php script" in $result but the socket connection is not performed (no errors in php logs) Could you help me to find a way to let's work the two features correctly together? Thank you. I'm trying to use this script known as SimpleImage.php that can be found here <a href="http://www.white-hat-web-design.co.uk/articles/php-image-resizing.php">link</a> I'm trying to include what is on the bottom of the page to my existing script can anyone help me I've tried several ways but its not working. Code: [Select] <?php session_start(); error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors','On'); //error_reporting(E_ALL); // image upload folder $image_folder = 'images/classified/'; // fieldnames in form $all_file_fields = array('image1', 'image2' ,'image3', 'image4'); // allowed filetypes $file_types = array('jpg','gif','png'); // max filesize 5mb $max_size = 5000000; //echo'<pre>';print_r($_FILES);exit; $time = time(); $count = 1; foreach($all_file_fields as $fieldname){ if($_FILES[$fieldname]['name'] != ''){ $type = substr($_FILES[$fieldname]['name'], -3, 3); // check filetype if(in_array(strtolower($type), $file_types)){ //check filesize if($_FILES[$fieldname]['size']>$max_size){ $error = "File too big. It's pretty simple code and the reason there is an if else for whether it does a select or update is unrelated.
It does however submit, Name, stars and location. However the testimonial will not update. If we update every field everything will update except for testimonial. The only difference I can see is testimonial is a textarea and an input field? Please help it's driving me crazy.
if($_POST){ $name = $_POST['name']; $stars = $_POST['stars']; $testimonial = $_POST['testimonial']; $location = $_POST['location']; mysql_query("UPDATE testimonials SET name='$name', stars='$stars', testimonial='$testimonial', location='$location' WHERE testimonialID='$testimonialID'", $retreat); echo '<a href="./">Back Home</a> | <a href="./testimonials">Tesimonials</a><br><br>'; echo 'Yay, Successful. PS: There is no error handling so this really just means you submitted it.'; } else { $getTestimonial = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM testimonials WHERE testimonialID='$testimonialID' LIMIT 1", $retreat); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($getTestimonial)){ $testimonialID = $row['testimonialID']; $name = $row['name']; $stars = $row['stars']; $testimonial = $row['testimonial']; $location = $row['location']; } ?> <a href="./">Back Home</a> | <a href="./testimonials">Tesimonials</a><br><br> <form action="testimonials?p=edit&id=<?php echo $testimonialID; ?>" method="POST"> Name:<br> <input type="text" name="name" value="<?php echo $name; ?>"/><br><br> Stars:<br> <input type="text" name="stars" value="<?php echo $stars; ?>"/><br><br> Testimonial:<br> <textarea type="text" name="testimonial" ><?php echo $testimonial; ?></textarea><br><br> Location:<br> <input type="text" name="location" value="<?php echo $location; ?>"/> <input type="submit" name="submit" value="submit" /> </form> I am trying to make my website submit a file when the submit button is pressed.
