PHP - How Does One Get Their Website Listed On Google In This Manner?
There is no SEO section so I do not know where exactly to ask this question, but here it is.
https://www.google.c...A#q=twitter.com
Do you see how Google lists Twitter results in two columbs underneath the main heading title? How does one achieve that result with their website? Does only Google decides to make it show up that way?

It requests the email and password on the login page, taking that data and inspecting it before processing further. I’ve designed the presentation using CSS to be responsive and it’s working well, except for ..
.. when I used it on my Nexus 4 and 7 the web site appeared. I touched the menu item ‘login’ and I entered both the correct email and password. However, the application bounced back as it should if either the email or password was wrong. So I inserted PHP scripting and confirmed that the site was receiving the correct email but a wrong password. The logic is 100% proven and the data entry correct.
Is there something with the google nexus (and smartphones in general) that disallows web site passwords until some parameter is set? I'm hoping a responsive website developer accommodating nexus 4 or 7 can assist here.
<?php include 'core/classes/Query.php'; include 'core/functions/recaptchalib.php'; $sqlQ = "SELECT * FROM `servers`"; $qResult = $database->query($sqlQ); $i = 0; while ($row = $qResult->fetch_assoc()) { $query = new Query($row['address'], $row['query_port'], $row['engine']); $info = $query->query(); if(!$info) { $info = $query->return_false(); } $details = array( 'players' => $info['players'], 'details' => $info['details'] ); $details = json_encode($details); $update = $database->prepare("UPDATE `servers` SET `status` = ?, `online_players` = ?, `maximum_online_players` = ?, `map` = ?, `details` = ?, `cachetime` = unix_timestamp() WHERE `server_id` = {$row['server_id']}" $update->bind_param('sssss', $query->status, $info['general']['online_players']['value'], $info['general']['maximum_online_players']['value'], $info['general']['map']['value'], $details) $update->execute(); } ?>What I'm trying to accomplish is query every server & update every one of the rows for each server listed. This does nothing ( its a cronjob , as it has to run every 5 minutes , newbie so not entirely sure if this is event the right approach ) From my experience, using Google's sitemap generator to generate a sitemap is not that good. It creates page that you do not want to show up. I am wondering what the best method is for creating a sitemap of a website so that only certain pages of the website show up on Google?

IP DENY
TOR EXIT NODES with regard to the former, the domain has one page per country I believe. so, you can get listings for like say, China and Russia on these 2 pages: China: https://www.ipdeny.com/ipblocks/data/countries/cn.zone Russia: https://www.ipdeny.com/ipblocks/data/countries/ru.zone my question to folks here is, would this information be useful to me? I am putting together some website content that I do not want everyone in the world to see. And, it is possible that by some miracle, the sophisticated hacker world outside the USA will want to take it down and/or disrupt the service offerings of it if they find out that it exists. Anyone got any advice on whether these resources are even worth the effort to use? and if they are, what is the best way to leverage them? e.g. - when pulling info from the server DB to display content on the page, check this IP data first to see who they are and whether I will allow them or block them? thanks. Adam @requinix, I know we've talked about blocking illegitimate traffic before. and I know you said I can't ever get rid of all of it. but this is new info that I've run across. Just wondering what you guys think of this. =) here my sample code <form> <input id="query" type="text" name="query" placeholder="search here..." autocomplete="off"> <button type="submit" value="query" >search</button> <div class="sugbx"></div> </form> //php code, assume we already run a whole php code ...... <ul class="list-group list-unstyled" style="cursor:pointer; color: #191919; position:absolute; top:12px;"> <?php foreach($query as $movie) { ?> <li class="list-group-item" onClick="searchValue('<?php echo $movie["movie_name"]; ?>'),;"><?php echo $movie["movie_name"]; ?></li> <?php } ?> </ul> <?php } ?> //ajax here $('#search').keyup(function(){ $.ajax({ type: 'GET', url: 'phpcode.php', data:'query='+$(this).val(), success: function(data){ $('.sugbx').show(); $('.sugbx').html(data); } }); }); function searchValue(val) { $('#query').val(val); $('.sugbx').hide(); } //ajax the input accept the value only after selecting one of the listed value on the suggesstion box and then i have to click the submit button the problem is, how to submit the value accepted when a list is clicked I'm having trouble echoing $year in my script. Listed below is the script, just below ,$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $dbname WHERE class LIKE '%$search%'") or die(mysql_error());, in the script I try to echo $year. It doesn't show up in the table on the webpage. Everything else works fine. Any help wold be appreciated greatly. Now the game has a lot of champions, each of whom have 5 unique abilities. Now, I thought about manually inputting all the details about each champion into a MySQL database, but that would long and tedious, and I don't really have the time for it now. Also, the game patches very oftern (like, once every 2 weeks) which changes many of the stats, etc. of the champion, and it is not possible for me to keep manually updating these every time there is a patch. Fortunately, there is a League of Legends Wiki which has all the data I need in their specific champion pages, which they keep updated per patch. So I was wondering if there was any way to get the data from the divs in the wiki, and have it display on my site. What I want to do in my website is that whenever someone types a champion's name (in a post or whatever), I want it to display a hover-over dialog with some of the champions details. And a lot of other features such as that. In plain English I need a way to : > Tell PHP to go to the wiki's source code on a specific page > Find a specific div container > Get X data from there > Pass X data into a function to display the hover-over I think this way, I would not have to maintain a database as I can leech off the wiki's data. I have not coded anything like this before, so I would like a few pointers as to how to achieve this. Any help will be appreciated! hello My database is in a same server with seperate domain name , then I want to insert from website1 mysql data on website2 mysql data. can anyone help me? I tried searching on google but couldn't find any relevant information, please redirect me to relevant source or help me with the code. I want to pass a domain name in text field which will be scanned and then the script will display entire site map. Not external links or links on a page. Sorry it is not easy for me to explain. Eg. if i pass abc.com Script will display abc.com/12/adn.php abc.com/asd/asd/ etc Whatever their url format is. All the links on that domain. Is it possible to download files from a website to my online websites root directory? reason I'm asking is because I have been downloading large video files to my computer which take about 20 minutes!! Then I use FTP to upload them to my site but it takes about 2-3 hours per video!! I was looking for a faster way! All help would be great! For every search, I get ZERO RESULTS, and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Code: [Select] <?php require('places_class.php'); $types = $_POST['type']; $location = $_POST['place']; $radius = $_POST['radius']; $gplaces = New GooglePlaces; $gplaces->SetLocation("$location"); $gplaces->SetRadius($radius); $gplaces->SetTypes("$types"); $results = $gplaces->Search(); print_r($results); ?> That's when the form is submitted, I checked the variables, and they are echoing out correctly. Hi I have been working on this code for almost two weeks and can't get over the last hurdle. If someone can put a fresh set of eys on it I would appreciate it. I have 3 files - a geocoder php script which I can't get to work, but it is exactly like the example given on Google except that I have my addresses broken down by street, city, state and zip. - marker.php which is echoing the data correctly, and my map - location.html which pulls up a map but no markers. my geocoder script is below: Code: [Select] <?php define("MAPS_HOST", "maps.google.com"); define("KEY", "mykey"); // Opens a connection to a MySQL server $connection = mysql_connect("server", "user","pwd"); if (!$connection) { die("Not connected : " . mysql_error()); } // Set the active MySQL database $db_selected = mysql_select_db("Db", $connection); if (!$db_selected) { die("Can\'t use db : " . mysql_error()); } // Select all the rows in the markers table $query = "SELECT * FROM table WHERE 1"; $result = mysql_query($query); if (!$result) { die("Invalid query: " . mysql_error()); } // Initialize delay in geocode speed $delay = 0; $base_url = "http://" . MAPS_HOST . "/maps/geo?output=xml" . "&key=" . KEY; // Iterate through the rows, geocoding each address while ($row = @mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) { $geocode_pending = true; while ($geocode_pending) { $street = $row["street"]; $city = $row["city"]; $state = $row["state"]; $zip_code = $row["zip_code"]; $id = $row["id"]; $request_url = $base_url . "&q=" . urlencode($street + $city + $state + $zip_code); $xml = simplexml_load_file($request_url) or die("url not loading"); $status = $xml->Response->Status->code; if (strcmp($status, "200") == 0) { // Successful geocode $geocode_pending = false; $coordinates = $xml->Response->Placemark->Point->coordinates; $coordinatesSplit = split(",", $coordinates); // Format: Longitude, Latitude, Altitude $lat = $coordinatesSplit[1]; $lng = $coordinatesSplit[0]; $query = sprintf("UPDATE table " . " SET lat = '%s', lng = '%s' " . " WHERE id = '%s' LIMIT 1;", mysql_real_escape_string($lat), mysql_real_escape_string($lng), mysql_real_escape_string($id)); $update_result = mysql_query($query); if (!$update_result) { die("Invalid query: " . mysql_error()); } } else if (strcmp($status, "620") == 0) { // sent geocodes too fast $delay += 100000; } else { // failure to geocode $geocode_pending = false; echo "Address " . $street .
