PHP - Parse All Text Between The Td-tags?
Can someone please, PLEASE explain to me how i can extract/parse all the text between the td-tags?

I have a form with a text area element but when the text is submitted, tags such as <br> aren't included so the outputted text is never formatted correctly such as there being no paragraphs. Hi , As we know we validate the user input data while processing the from. We validate to avoid XSS for that we use html filter to filter invalid tags and all. Being a newbie at PHP coding I'm at my wits end trying to figure out:
a) how to pull-in values from a delimeted text field (in a MySQL table) and check/select the appropriate checkboxes, based on the values that were stored in the text field,
b) how to write any changes (made by the user) back to the tables' text field.
Note that this is for an "update.php" file/process.
My "create.php" file/process uses the following HTML to display and accept the checkbox values:

Now, I've figured out how to bring-in, and separate the stored values using the following code, however I have no idea what to do next...in order to have only the approprite boxes checked/selected (in the event that all boxes were not selected during the create stage).

I am asking out of curiosity, how does this problem usually get solved, when using a tag system to sort content, and users enter similar tags. For example: flower and flowers... which means the difference between singular and plural. Judging by other sites which are around, this problem is not solved at all, they simply let you add as many tags as you want and then rank the most used tags, it indeed is a solution, but seems more like a walk-around solution to me. Any ideas how somebody could approach to solve this one? EDIT: My suggestion would be an analysis function, which analyzes the entered tag and then suggests the user that similar tags have been already entered and perhaps he wants to choose one of those which have been already entered. This does work though with a high traffic websites what can happen is the following: php and php5 You can end up with two similar tags which are both widely used though have different meanings to the user base. This one could be solved by simply prohibiting similar tags with little additions or changes, and so to speak "forcing" the user to choose something which is already there. May be a way, though it can turn out as a bad solution as well. I have it working where I can access the www.testing.co.uk value using the following:

But am not sure how to access the avail value? I thought the following would have worked by adding ['avail'] onto the end, but appear to be missing something.
