PHP - Wrapping 3 Column Div Around Floated Image.

I am trying to wrap a string with an anchor tag if it finds a match with a block of text. Here is an example text block:

CONOCO 1'10x8 VC DF TP SGN||PRINCIPAL ILLUMINATION||ENG: CO3028TP_0VPR||DWG: CO200428||TO BE: DYED DIESEL (SPEC)||

The string I would want to wrap with a link would be "CO200428". 

The next problem is the drawings (what I'm searching the text for) has over 115,000 possibilities. The text blocks to search are over 1300.

I have the drawing names stored in a simple mysql table...but doing a foreach takes forever...I imagine it will take even longer when looking in the text blocks...

Is there a way to easily to do the anchor wrap? I don't know regex very well...

How can I test if a chunk exceeds the image size and wrap that text to the next line. Not sure if I am even doing this correctly with my if statement.

I know that php does not recognize onMouseOver events. however, Im wondering if their is a tricky way to get a javascript response from dynamic text. I am working on a nav menu in a wordpress site. wordpress has a function that displays a list of pages created in the admin. I want to be able to display a secondary list of pages when a top-level nav item is moused over. heres the code:

Does anybody know a trick to get the dynamic text to be seen by the javascript? for example, if i put a &nbsp; inside the anchor tags before the php script starts, the onmouseover will register it, and display the secondary nav. I would place invisible divs with links on top of the dynamic text with z-index, but I want the text to be completely dynamic and the client to be able to add as many links as he/she wants.

My company has 240+ locations and as such some users (general managers) cover multiple sites.  When I run a query to pull user information, when the user has multiple sites to his or her name, its adds the second / third sites to the next columns, rather than wrapping it inside the same table cell.  It also works the opposite way, if a piece of data is missing in the database and is blank, its pull the following columns in.  Both cases mess up the table and formatting.  I'm extremely new to any kind of programming and maybe this isn't the forum for this question but figured I'd give it a chance since I'm stuck.

Hi, I'm trying to get the last number from a column of numbers, add 1 to it and use this to insert a new value in the column.
The column is not the primary key, indexed, or auto insert, it's just a plain old int field.

$newid = mysql_query('SELECT IDCOL FROM prods ORDER BY IDCOL DESC LIMIT 1');

// the above just doesn't work--it returns 0, there are over 1200 products--I'm going nuts over this.

//$newid += 1; I've commented this out, it works though (in that it adds 1 to 0)

   $sql = mysql_query("INSERT INTO prods (IDCOL , Prod_Code, blah... blah..)
        VALUES('$newid','$prod_code','blah... blah...')") or die (mysql_error()); //this works (but inserts 0 as the newID)

You'd think this would be so easy.

How can i get the last row data from a certain column?

I am generating a csv dynamically and getting it downloaded from php but after download the csv only contain the data from database not the heading or the column name of the database. 
example: my table contain "users" as column name and it has 4 rows like "ram"  "sam"  "hari"  "sita". then after download of csv, the csv is showing only ram, sam, hari sita not the column name users. How to do that? because it is difficult to know who the ram sam are,, are they any vegetables or users

I fairly new to PHP. This seems very obvious but I cannot find an answer.

O programmer friend of mine said that I should never store a calculated value in a table because it was redundant. SO I have a very simple shopping cart. In the confirmation email, I ask the database for the line items of the order. So I'm pulling the quantity and price from the database. In the email I created a var called $ext which is $price * $disc which works.  I cannot figure out how to total $ext.

I created a var called $subtotal. Heres the code.

The mysql_error is

"Unknown column 'storage' in 'where clause'"

I am trying to find a loop type script that starts at a particular row in a particular column in an excel file and keeps adding values in each row until the last value is reached.

I have searched and am pretty new to loops. can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I am working on a page. That has all the products listed on it. Every product has a Shipping profile associated with it.

Whenever a new product is created, we assign a Shipping profile to that new Product. And its product ID is then inserted into the Shipping profile table.

Note: One Shipping Profile can have multiple Products under it.

The scenario is that when we create the 2nd product and assign Shipping Profile and insert the 2nd product ID to Shipping Profile, the old value gets replaced with the new ProductID.

We just need to somehow append the new ProductID to the existing ProductIDs in the Shipping Profile table.

We can do an Update query but that will replace the Old Product ID with the new ProductID. Here we just need to append the new Product ID to the Old product ID. eg

ShippingProfileID      ProductID

Now at the moment, the ProductID gets stored but it just replaces the Old product ID. We just need to append to the existing IDs
