PHP - How To Add A Go To End Lof Page Label
Is it possible to have a link at the top of a page that has been displayed from a database? Just that some results show thousands of rows. Thanks.
Similar TutorialsHello. I have a basic form and I want to check for errors by making sure the user inputs everything, if not an error explaining to the user what needs to be fixed. (very common on all forms) When I use echo in my script, it displays at the top of my browser. How do I put the error codes right beside my form elements? I currently don't have all the error checking included but I want to get a few sorted out before anything else. Is it even possible? Do I need to somehow modify the class to render these different colors? Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I'm 99% complete with this, but I just can't seem to change the colors of the plot labels. Thanks! ok i think and hope this will be my last issue with this site. i have two forms on the same contact page, but right now theyre using the same error label. this means if ONE has an error, both forms show as that same error. id like to somehow separate this and give each one its own label. i tried doing like error[2] for the 2nd button instead of error[] but then i didnt know what to change the actual "error label" to. do i changed the "$errors = array();" part? to create a second label? i tried to google on it and couldnt figure it out. thanks a million to anyone who even reads <?php if (isset($errors)) { foreach ($errors as $error) { echo("<p>$error<p>\n"); } } ?> so my question basically is, how do i use this code below to create a second error case AND label please!! <?php if ($_POST['send']) { $errors = array(); if ($_POST['captcha'] != $_SESSION['captchacode']) { $errors[] = "You didn't enter the correct letters!"; } + <?php if (isset($errors)) { foreach ($errors as $error) { echo("<p>$error<p>\n"); } } ?> I'm not sure if this is the right section, if not, please move it on proper one, i'm still newbie. However, here's my problem, i'm using jquery to replace standard check boxes with images, and here's the code: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.0/jquery.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { /* see if anything is previously checked and reflect that in the view*/ $(".checklist input:checked").parent().addClass("selected"); /* handle the user selections */ $(".checklist .checkbox-select").click( function(event) { event.preventDefault(); $(this).parent().addClass("selected"); $(this).parent().find(":checkbox").attr("checked","checked"); } ); $(".checklist .checkbox-deselect").click( function(event) { event.preventDefault(); $(this).parent().removeClass("selected"); $(this).parent().find(":checkbox").removeAttr("checked"); } ); }); </script> Here's the css: <style type="text/css"> body { font: 12px/1.3 "Lucida Grande","Lucida","Arial",Sans-serif; } form { margin: 0 0 30px 0; } legend { font-size: 17px; } fieldset { border: 1; } .checklist { list-style: none; margin: 0; padding: 0; } .checklist li { float: left; margin-right: 10px; background: url(i/checkboxbg.gif) no-repeat 0 0; width: 105px; height: 80px; position: relative; font: normal 11px/1.3 "Lucida Grande","Lucida","Arial",Sans-serif; } .checklist li.selected { background-position: -105px 0; } .checklist li.selected .checkbox-select { display: none; } .checkbox-select { display: block; float: left; position: absolute; top: 55px; left: 10px; width: 85px; height: 23px; background: url(i/select.gif) no-repeat 0 0; text-indent: -9999px; } .checklist li input { display: none; } a.checkbox-deselect { display: none; color: white; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; position: absolute; top: 55px; right: 10px; } .checklist li.selected a.checkbox-deselect { display: block; } .checklist li label { display: block; text-align: center; padding: 8px; } .sendit { display: block; float: left; top: 118px; left: 10px; width: 115px; height: 34px; border: 0; cursor: pointer; background: url(i/sendit.gif) no-repeat 0 0; text-indent: -9999px; margin: 20px 0; } </style> And finally the form thing <ul class="checklist"><li><input name="jqdemo" value="value5" type="checkbox" id="choice_c"/><label for="choice_c">Some Text Here to be checked - clicked</label><a class="checkbox-select" href="#">Click</a><a class="checkbox-deselect" href="#">Cancel</a></li></ul> I would like that my text on top of checkboxes become clickable. This topic has been moved to HTML Help. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=323045.0 I have a page with results from a query that displays that has a link (works fine - passes variables etc) that deletes that line item from a database. It goes to the delete.php and actually executes and removes the item from the database and then has the line header("Location: page.php"); which returns BACK to the page displaying the results. However, it shows the old results until I hit Refresh in the browser. Its like the header is redirecting to a cached version of the page.
NOTE: This script used to work fine untouched when we where on a shared hosting account. We JUST updates to VPS hosting by the same host. Now this problem has risen and I can't figure out what is wrong. From what I can guess is there is something in php.ini that is either not set, set or set wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I am using Magento (Ver 1.9.x) If i try with my localhost success url like, http://192.168.1.65/magento/index.php/checkout/onepage/success/ and return success message with order id. if i try with live, success url like, https://abc.in/payubiz/redirect/success/ success page like blank page. How to solve the issue? Code : https://github.com/ZusZus/Payubiz Edited February 4, 2020 by aveevaHi, Is it possible to build a PHP Template page that selects and publishes a row of data from a MySQL Database when a linked is clicked? I would design: Template.php Text links (perhaps on homepage of navigation bar): ProductA, ProductB and ProductC If you click link ProductA Template.php would display data for ProductA and likewise for ProductB and ProductC. I would also like search engines for find ProductA, ProductB and ProductC PHP pages. (Not just my single Template.php) Any ideas as to how this could be done without designing individual PHP pages for each product? Kind regards, Matthew. Hi, I am a php newbie, who has a page that relies on some php scripts, and to which I am trying to add a login page written in php. I took the example from he http://www.howtodothings.com/computers-internet/how-to-make-a-login-system-for-your-website Basically it consists of adding: <? require("log.php"); ?> to the top of any page I want to protect, a log.php file which performs the actions of the form, linking to a mySQL database, and a login.php file which contains the form. I have the login working fine, but it breaks one of the PHP scripts on the page that is protected. It is an upload script, called Weaverbox, based on FancyUpload. The uploads which are handled by a file called upload.php, aren't happening. The progress shows that they are being uploaded, but nothing is uploaded, and there is no success message. As soon as I remove the code from the top of the page requiring log.php all works fine again. I think I may have to add some rules/extensions to resolve this conflict, but I don't know how to go about this. Would someone be able to help me get it sorted? Thanks Nick Can someoneplease help, I need to setup an error page like IF Username and Password are wrong then show an error also if there is no username or password in the fields and I just click LOGIN, I get a blank page?! Can someone please help me here or point me to a relevant tutorial? thanks here is my page: http://www.retroandvintage.co.uk/default.php here is my code: Code: [Select] <?php session_start(); include_once("config.php"); $ebits = ini_get('error_reporting'); error_reporting($ebits ^ E_NOTICE); /* Login script: This script does the following: Checks that the user is NOT already logged in - if they are they are redirected to the members page by the 'checkLoggedIn()' function. Checks if the login form has been submitted - if so, the 'login' and 'password' fields are checked to ensure they are of the correct format and length. If there are any problems here an error is added to the $messages array and then the script executes the 'doIndex()' function - this function basically outputs the main 'index' page for this script - ie the login form. If there are no problems with the previous step, the 'login' and 'password' field data is passed to the 'checkPass' function to check that an entry exists in the 'users' table for that login/password pair. If nothing is returned from the 'checkPass()' function, an error is added to the $messages array and the 'doIndex()' function is called as above. If a row of data is returned from the 'users' table, the data is passed to the 'cleanMemberSession()' function - which initializes session variables and logs the user in. The user is then forwarded to the members page. If the form hasn't yet been submitted, then the 'doIndex()' function is called and the login page is displayed. */ // Check user not logged in already: checkLoggedIn("no"); // Page title: $title="Member Login Page"; // if $submit variable set, login info submitted: if(isset($_POST["submit"])) { // // Check fields were filled in // // login must be between 4 and 15 chars containing alphanumeric chars only: field_validator("rsUser", $_POST["rsUser"], "alphanumeric", 4, 15); // password must be between 4 and 15 chars - any characters can be used: field_validator("rsPass", $_POST["rsPass"], "string", 4, 15); // if there are $messages, errors were found in validating form data // show the index page (where the messages will be displayed): if($messages){ doIndex(); // note we have to explicity 'exit' from the script, otherwise // the lines below will be processed: exit; } // OK if we got this far the form field data was of the right format; // now check the user/pass pair match those stored in the db: /* If checkPass() is successful (ie the login and password are ok), then $row contains an array of data containing the login name and password of the user. If checkPass() is unsuccessful however, $row will simply contain the value 'false' - and so in that case an error message is stored in the $messages array which will be displayed to the user. */ if( !($row = checkPass($_POST["rsUser"], $_POST["rsPass"])) ) { // login/passwd string not correct, create an error message: $messages[]="Incorrect login/password, try again"; } /* If there are error $messages, errors were found in validating form data above. It was to call a page that queried the database based on a unite code that was assigned to a member. If the member was assigned a code that was FL1001, the URL www.marketingteammates.com/FL1001 would bring up a page that quaried that member and displayed their database content.
In the users table of the site, it quaried the field webPageID and the information was called. It called a page webpage.php that quaried the info. The URL in the address bar still displayed www.marketingteammates.com/FL1001. Here are the lines of code in the htaccess file.
RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z])([A-Za-z])([0-9]+)$ /webpage.php?webPageID=$1$2$3 [NC,L]I now have a second page completely different from the webpage.php. It is a page storeNumber.php and would query a field storeNumberID. This field could contain any kind of string such as Store#101, or mystore101, or #101 is my store. I tried using the same rewite rule just replaceing the webpage.php and variable with storeNumber.php and $storeNumberID. This doesn't work. It also leads me to wonder if there can even be two different pages in the mod_rewrite. How would it diferentiate one from the other. Thanks for any help in advance. Mike i am creating a responsive website.
I'll give you an example.
I am retriving 100 items from mysql database using php. I am only showing 20 items per page using simple pagination with arrows. I keep this format on desktop and tablets. However, I would like to show less items when I am viewing the page on a smartphone. So instead of 20 items per page, it'll show 5 items per page along with the pagination arrows.
I was wondering if this is possible with PHP or would I have to use javascript?
Hi, I have a, let's call it, Main page, and it refreshes every 5 seconds to check the database... If it finds a result, it kills the refresh function and allows a DIV to call a page into itself via another function on the Main page, which refreshes every second, it's a timer count down clock... The problem is, that if the timer runs down to zero, I have it do a lot of things, but then I need it to either refresh the Main page, redirect the Main page, or close the Main page entirely... Does anyone know how I could perform either 3 of those actions from within the page that's inside of the DIV? Hi Guys, Quick question. I'm trying to get my head around how I would check that a user has reached a certain page from another page. So for example, the workflow through my site is something like the following: user registers a verification email is sent user clicks the link within the verification email to complete the sign up process user logs in and ONLY on a successful login will the following happen: checks are made to see if account has been verified if user has been verified, go to main menu if user has not been activated his account then he goes to a page that says account has not been activated The bit i'm struggling to get my head around is this... the user should only reach the page 'account has not been activated' page from the login page. If that page was called confirm-account.php. What can i do to stop a random person typing something along the lines of www.mywebsite.com/confirm-account.php and getting straight onto that page? or even upon the registration process if the user is taken to a page that says an email has been sent, how would i stop a random person just typing the url straight to that page and bypassing the pages I would expect them to have gone through before reaching that?? Cheers How |
