PHP - Add Html Instead Of Image In This Statement
Hi,
I have the following script which displays a banner image based on a cookie. It also displays a banner if there is no cookie. What I would like to do is to display the banners based on cookies, but instead of displaying the "no-cookie.gif" image, I want to insert some HTML content.
What would be the best way to do this?

I created an index.php page and I inserted an include statement that referred to a header.html page. It works when working it in MS Webmatrix but when I put it on my server I only get my index.php page. My include statement will not get the header.html page. What am I doing wrong? Its purpose is to show EITHER a login form and state your not logged in if it cannot find a stored cookie OR if it does find a stored cookie it will NOT show the HTML form and state you are logged in. However, once I click one of the links it falls back to the log-in page, and it ends up being a never ending loop. Is it possible for a clickable image to pass to a php page? It can lead to a linked web page, so can it be like a submit button on a form and pass to the $_POST in php?

PHP is supposed to read file with "id" paramenter. But Somehow this doesn't work. Not really sure how to get the images I have stored in MySQL into a html form. I'm not sure as far as CPU usage (on server)/(on client) and bandwith usage if loading one picture at a time to scroll versus having a line up "pre-exist" which even then, I would only have five images at a time but what if that is multiplied by 10000 users
Anyway, the current knowledge I have, I have a css animation property that takes in a photo and animates from 0% to 100% keyframe based on margins to make the scrolling happen
In the HTML section there is a list of photos, I would like there to be one line of code that is like a receiver that takes in or reads in arbitrary photo locations and puts that next to be scrolled without interrupting the main animation sequence which I'm not sure if there would be interruption. Anyway I don't know if that is possible. If someone can point out that this idea is obviously flawed then that would be great.
This isn't my ultimate solution, I have yet to see others, I'm just trying to minimize loading and lag
The other problem I have that is interesting is that I want the scrolling to stop when a person hovers over an image, and then resume... I have gotten this to work but only on one image... this is probably a matter of listing out all the key parts of the problem and seeing the solution but
When I had a list of photos that were scrolling together, I could get the whole animation to stop when hovering over the first photo and then take me somewhere (all the photos have working href's) but the animation would not stop if I hovered over any photos after the first. The animation would keep going
So I tried to animate each picture independently and that was just a cluster ****
Still working on that
If someone could point me in the right direction on the main problem of reading in photos live to work with css animation, that would be great.

To simplify the uploading process of a file, I restricted the type of file that can be uploaded (jpg) and the size (2.5mb). The problem is, the form is calling to a PHP script, and I have error logging built in to alert the user of why a file didn't upload, but since the PHP script is just being called, no errors are being displayed on the page. I guess unless I do a refresh of a few seconds to view any errors on the page.... What I would like to do is show a pop-up/error message notifying the user that the file type or size is incorrect and needs to be adjusted. Now part of the problem is, the file needs to be uploaded to the server first, and then everything can be checked, so I am really getting confused.
