PHP - Not Supported Tag Variables
In HTML5 some attributes are no longer supported eg: name attr for <a> is no longer supported.
What happens when in a tag like <a> exists a non supported attr?
<a id="me" name="you">Will it just be ignored like is not there or it can cause problems later on and how? Similar TutorialsHi guys, Im using this https://github.com/elbunce/oauth2-php But unable to find where to add supported scopes that works. Any help is greatly and much appreciated. PS on OAuth2.php i found const CONFIG_SUPPORTED_SCOPES = 'supported_scopes'; // Array of scopes you want to support but changing 'supported_scopes' did not work. This is the full error: Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings in D:\Programs\AppServ\www\test\test.php on line 19 I have comented on the error line. function structure(){ $argNum = func_get_args(); $temp = $argNum; (int)$pointer = -1; $xmlStructure = array(); foreach ($temp as $key => $value) { if ($value == 'in') { if ($pointer == -1) { $pointer = 0; } else{ $pointer = $pointer + 1; } }elseif ($value == 'out') { $pointer = $pointer - 1; }; if($pointer != -1){ $xmlStructure[$pointer][] = $value; //THIS is the 19'th line. }else{ $xmlStructure[] = $value; } } return $xmlStructure; } function test_print($item2, $key) { echo "$key. $item2<br />\n"; } $a = structure('0','in','00','01','02'); array_walk($a,'test_print'); I tried both of these articles, I have a windows 8.1 tablet and both of the different "codes" worked but I tried my friend's iPhone and the camera viewport is just a black square or doesn't show at all... the problem seems to be that the pop up where you push "allow" or "deny" doesn't show up at all, this makes me think the trigger isn't "triggered".

I'm using HTML5 and Javascript, didn't do much modifcation yet, I just needed the basic web cam access, cropping, saving functions at the moment.

ok guys I've made a script that will allow me to move items and up and a list using weight. The page loads fine the first time, then when you click on the up or down arrow it swaps the weight values and wrights them to the data base. On the same page I have Code: [Select] $data = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM columnleft ORDER BY weight ASC") or die(mysql_error()); while($info = mysql_fetch_array($data)) { $id[] = $info[id]; $weight[] = $info[weight]; } This is allowing me to loop in the upper and lower weights to the current item. So they can be changed. However I get a Code: [Select] [17-Mar-2011 18:25:11] PHP Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings in dir/page on line 80 Line 80 is the Code: [Select] $weight[] = $info[weight]; So my guess is that its writing the weight to the database and trying to get an array at the same time? So it errors out. So if I'm right is there a way to prioritize so it will finish writing then load the rest? As title says, I'm getting this error: Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings in C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\xampp\htdocs\arpg\locations_modules\2dmap\generic_map.php on line 225 Line 225 is: $monsters[ ] = $r->fields[0]; And this is the whole section if it helps any. Code: [Select] $nbmonsters=0; if($sql != "") { $r=$db->Execute($sql); if($r !== false) while(!$r->EOF) { if(($r->fields[0]+0) == 0) { $r->MoveNext(); continue; } $p=mt_rand(0,100); if(($r->fields[2]+0) != 100 && $p < ($r->fields[2]+0)) { $r->MoveNext(); continue; } if($r->fields[1] != "") { $res=false; $code='if ('.$r->fields[1].') $res=true;'; eval($code); if($res == false) { $r->MoveNext(); continue; } } $monsters[ ] = $r->fields[0]; $nbmonsters++; $r->MoveNext(); } if($r !== false) $r->Close(); } does anyone know how to decode this XML variable value into string values? I also need to know the oposite way: creating variable values into xml. I've tried several code examples but they did filter the requested data. Code: [Select] $xml='<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <elements> <text identifier="ed9cdd4c-ae8b-4ecb-bca7-e12a5153bc02"> <value/> </text> <textarea identifier="a77f06fc-1561-453c-a429-8dd05cdc29f5"> <value><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. I have some code which needs to return a single variable from the function and stored as a variable within this page, so it can be echoed later on in the page. I couldn't get it to return as a variable, so i used "return compact();" to return the variable and "extract (myFunction());" to extract it to variables. However, when I turned on php's display errors and error reporting function, I got an error message saying "Warning: extract() [function.extract]: First argument should be an array in /my/web/site/index.php on line 6" (which is where my extract function is). This works fine with passing more than one variables through, is there another way pass one variable from a function to be stored as a variable on the page which called the function? Here is the function: Code: [Select] <?php //This is a list of numeric error codes against their text. this will return the error code as the variable $issue function checkLoginIssue() { //If there is an error code if (isset($_GET["issue"])) { //cycle through the list until the code is reached, return the text and break the switch switch ($_GET["issue"]) { case "1": $issue = '<p class="warning">Please log in to view this page</p>'; break; case "2": $issue = '<p class="warning">Wrong Username or Password</p>'; break; case "3": $issue = '<p class="warning">No user found with those details</p>'; break; } //return the variable in an array with a single value return compact('issue'); } } ?> And here is the code which calls the function: Code: [Select] <?php extract(checkLoginIssue()); ?> It echos that there are to many.. how would I do this Saying like if I had 100 $Variable[] it would echo that there are to many? $Variable[] = ""; $Variable[] = ""; $Variable[] = ""; $Variable[] = ""; $Variable[] = ""; $Variable[] = ""; I'm running the latest version of MySQL on Windows 7 64-bit.
It working fine and set up correctly.
I'd like to use ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES or a variable like "%current_directory%" or "..\%current_directory%" in the configuration files for MySQL, my.ini.
Is this possible? Is my.ini a parsed file, can variables be define and used in it? Help would be much appreciated
Hi guys, I've a developer for a pretty large website and forum, the database is exploding in size and we are now seeing a grow in the slow log. We want to be able to fix this by optimizing query's but the site is so big, we can't locate the query's themselfs as they are dynamically generated. I want to be able to tail onto the end of the query a comment containing where a function was last called. In the example below, I want the file name and line-number of where add_together() was called. Here is an example for index.php: Code: [Select] $a = 1; $b = 2; $c = add_together($a, $b); function add_together($a, $b) { return $a + $b; } Look forward to your assistance with this! It working fine and set up correctly.
I'd like to use ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES or a variable like "%current_directory%" or "..\%current_directory%" in the configuration files for PHP, php.ini.
Is this possible? Is php.ini a parsed file, can variables be define and used in it? Help would be much appreciated
I've got a select statement that looks like this in php. Code: [Select] $sql = "Select * from inventory where ".$fields."".$operator."".$criteria; Everything posts correctly, everything is dereferenced correctly. My only question is how do I get $criteria have single quotes around it? So that when I actually run the query it says select * from inventory where field = 'value'; I've tried Code: [Select] $sql = "Select * from inventory where ".$fields."".$operator.""'.$criteria'; $sql = "Select * from inventory where ".$fields."".$operator.""'$criteria'; and a bunch of variations like that. Thanks for you help. Hello All, In below script, I'm using another script called "SimpleImage.php" to upload and resize photos for a news site. The problem comes with renaming the photos. I need to name the photo based off of the story id. I have everything right to get the story id, but saving it as the variable is what's confusing me. Here's what I have: <?php include ("newsconnection.php");?> <?php $picturename = $_POST['newstoryid']; include('SimpleImage.php'); $image = new SimpleImage(); $image->load($_FILES['uploaded_image']['tmp_name']); $image->resizeToWidth(300); $image->save('$picturename'); ?> It's the $image->save('$picturename'); line that's messing me up. Any help would be great!! Hi guys. I need to destroy a session when a user leaves a particular page. I tried using session_destroy() at the end of the page but its not possible, because my page has pagination. i.e. abc.php?page=1 etc... So, I need to destroy a session when a user leaves abc.php page. Thanks in advance Aidan Can I use a variable inside an sql query to determine which table to select from? The 2 functions below do exactly the same thing, they're just selecting data from different tables. I'm not sure how I can do it. Maybe put a parameter in the function & use sprinf? // Output the page data function showpages() { db_connect(); $query = ("SELECT * FROM pages"); // can I change pages to a variable somehow? $result = mysql_query($query); $result = result_to_assoc($result); return $result; } // Echo the pricelist data into the pricelist form function show_pricelist() { db_connect(); $query = ("SELECT * FROM pricelist"); // Again, if pricelist can be a variable, then I need only 1 function $result = mysql_query($query); $result = result_to_assoc($result); return $result; } What I would like to find out is how I can echo out all the variables that are in use in the visitors visit. And have these echoed on the page. (for error checking purposes) some of my variables i.e. $username or $email and a few others are being cleared of its content and I can not find any problems searching all the files for the variable name and checking the lines but think that some other variable is in turn causing theproblems. so wanting to find a way to place an echo line that shows all the variables and then have the next line exit; and just move these two new lines around my scripts to find out where the problems might be. |
