PHP - How To Export Xml File In Mysql Database
Goodevening.Thuis is the codes under these but i dont have any idea on how can i use it because i only use php and mysql as my database. i dont know how to use the xml as my database. can you help me? Thanks in advance

Any hints ? Hi: I think this would pertain to a PHP coding feature. I want to give a user the ability to click a link in the admin area called "Export Database" the will export the entire database like: myDataBase.sql and allow them to save it to their computer. They want to be able to make backups without logging into a PHP admin area. I use to do this with Access, but have not done this with mySQL. Has anyone done this before? when i input this code it only uploads a single column into my database

I have built an application form where an applicant inputs their info and then uploads their resume. Even though the resume gets uploaded to a directory on the server i would also like the file name of the resume to get inserted into the mysql database so that I can easily see which resume matches which applicant...if that makes sense. At any rate I'm able to get everything else to work, the applicant's info gets inserted into the database, the resume gets uploaded to the directory, i just can't seem to get the resume file name to also insert into the database. I have one field for the Volume Number and on file field for the PDF to be uploaded. My issue is i can't get the PDF to upload or insert the name of the pdf (eg volume1.pdf) into the data base. I have been assigned a PHP problem for my programming class. I'm a beginner so I am finding it really hard to figure out what to do. I got this far thanks to the internet. The problem is to take a list of students, place it in a multidimensional array, sort it, then divide it in half and place each half in two new files. I can't seem to figure out the last step. This is my code so far:

At this point I get an error because I should use a string not an array to write the new file.
I don't actually know how to create a new file and export the information onto it, this is me guessing.
I would really really appreaciaite it if someone could help me out or point me in the right direction.

But if i using Google Chrome it download only php file. Eg(suppose file test.xls but it goes to test.php). Why it happen?? At the moment I am creating a search function for my website. The approach I have in mind is a pseudo-PHP database. To give an example: A HTML form will submit the results to a PHP file. HTML FORM - Colour: Black PHP RESULT PAGE - if ($_POST['color'] == 'Black') {readfile("./products/black/*.html");} HTML FORM - Price: <$50 PHP RESULT PAGE - if ($_POST['Price'] == '<$50') {readfile("./products/less50/*.html");} The problem here is if there is an item that is black and costs less than $50, then its going to be listed twice. There is probably some code I can write to ommit the listing of duplicate entries, but it is probably going to be messy, so I am wondering if its better to use a centralized MySQL database, rather than a pseudo-PHP database? I've never used MySQL and don't know much about it and this is my first real attempt at using PHP. |
