PHP - Including An Image At The Current Cursor Position In Text Field
Most blogs/forums I know (such as this one ) allow not only for the uploading and inclusion of images in a post (this I know how how to implement), but also the luxury of automatically
inserting the image at the precise place the cursor was in the post when the user clicked the "image" icon in order to upload.
This involves keeping track of the cursor’s whereabouts in a text field and I have no idea about how to do it with php or html. How is it done ? Where should I learn how to implement this in my made-from-scratch blog ?
Similar TutorialsI have a few PHP files. Currently, if the URL contains page=var, index includes var.php, otherwise it includes home.php. Apparently, this method makes the site easy to hack through Remote File Inclusion. Also, using PHP5 breaks this method entirely, as no matter what you set page to in the URL, it includes home.php. What's the best way to do this without using the URL? Give example code if possible. I've used PHP for a while but haven't really gotten past the beginner level. I'd really appreciate any help. The only problem here is that my 2 links for adding text to the textarea don't work at all, they do nothng, no error shown, no text added. I have a form with a text area element but when the text is submitted, tags such as <br> aren't included so the outputted text is never formatted correctly such as there being no paragraphs. Hello - I've come to an issue with something I'm working on and have searched around with no luck. When editing user accounts I want it to not be able to change the e-mail address into existing ones on other rows, but when submitting the form it takes into account that this particular rows email address is the same as the one which was sent via $_POST and throws up the error. The desired behaviour I want is for it to ignore the ID of the row which was posted, but take into account every other row. But is it possible to remove a particular phrase from the field if the user enters it. Example: I have a text field that says 'please enter your website domain here'. The user then enters 'www.domain.com'. Is it possible for PHP to remove the 'www.' and only save the 'domain.com' to my SQL (bearing in mind that not all users may enter www.) The first text field basically allows the user to input a duration of an event in the format of Hours:Minutes:Seconds such as: 02:30:00 is two and a half hours.
