# the auth block
AuthName "Please login."
AuthGroupFile /dev/null
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile C:/xampp/htdocs/.htpasswd
# Here is where we allow/deny
Order Deny,Allow
Satisfy any
Deny from all
Require valid-user
Allow from env=noauth
Satisfy any
its Work, people cant redirect via change the URL but it also occurs with valid user via Login Session.

How to solve it?

Hi
I echo out images from a folder. The problem is that I have a html file in the same folder but I don't want to echo that out. How can I write my code to get rid of the html in the output?
Here my code:
<?php $filetype = '*.html'; $dirname = substr('$filetype'); $i=0; if (isset($_POST['submit2'])) { //get the dir from POST $selected_dir = $_POST['myDirs']; //now get the files from within the selected dir and echo them to the screen foreach(glob($selected_dir . DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR . '*') as $dirname) { echo substr($dirname, 0, -4); echo '<img src="'.$dirname.'" />'; echo "<label><div class=\"radiobt\"><input type='radio' name='radio1' value='$i'/></div></label>"; } } ?>P.S. when I echo out : substr($dirname, 0, -4); I want to get ride of the html filename there too. How can I do so something like this? Hello Everyone, I hope all are well in here. It's been a LONG time since I've been here... glad to see it still thriving and going strong. Here is my predicament. ....... I'm creating an article section on my website, sort of a mini-blog within the site and need some assistance with .htaccess redirects to make SEO friendly URLs I've tried a ton of examples online and can't quite get it working I'm trying to take https://mywebsite.com/Articles/viewArticle.php?article=name-of-article which is the current url and structure of pulling the articles. I've got a db field that holds name-of-article and pulls that as my URL argument on the viewArticle.php page. I want to pass the url structure as shown below and my .htaccess redirects the internal pointers to viewArticle.php and passes the name-of-article part as a var. https://mywebsite.com/Articles/name-of-article I hope that makes sense. Here is the latest code I have attempted. This is in /Articles/.htaccess Options +FollowSymLinks -MultiViews # Turn mod_rewrite on RewriteEngine On RewriteRule /Articles/(.*) /viewArticle.php?article=$1 Any help is very appreciated.
Thanks, Nathan Redirect 301 /books.php?class=sales http://www.example.com/sales-books.php is not working This topic has been moved to Apache HTTP Server. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=342523.0 Hello: I'm trying to redirect my current site to point to the secure site, and am having a problem getting it to work for all instances. I currently have this: .htaccess Code: [Select] RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^$ https://www.mysite.com/index.htm This works fine when using the URLs "www.mysite.com" and "http://www.mysite.com" But when I enter "mysite.com" it directs to something like "https://www.mysite.com/www.mysite.com" which is incorrect. Also, if I enter a URL like "http://www.mysite.com/about.htm" it does not direct to "https" What is the trick to always have the "https" no matter what URL is entered? Any help would be great. Thanks! I installed Xampp on my Windows computer. It actually works well, but one thing that is a bit annoying is the fact that when you want to show the output of a PHP document, then it is necessary for the site to be located in the htdocs folder of C:\xampp. Or is it necessary? Is there a way to sort of "redirect" to another folder on the computer? I have my system (Windows 7) on my C drive and my data on my D drive. Sometimes I clone my C drive to keep it up to date and fast. Is there a way to have my website files on the D drive and Xampp installed in the default location on C:\xampp and still be able to test my site locally?

<form action="extension_test2.php" method="post"> <p>Logo: <input name="e" value="" type="text" size="15" maxlength="30" /><p> <input name="Submit" type="Submit"/> </form> and the form's result: <? $e =$_POST['e']; if(!empty($e)) { echo '<img src="http://www.gbamedica...ebayimg/logos/'.$e.'">'; }; ?> Here is a link to the example: http://www.gbamedica...ension_test.php Use "olympus.jpg" for test.
