PHP - Saving Google Adsense Code In Php Variable For Reuse Throughout Site?
I have a Google Adsense code that I am saving to the wp_options table. I can successfully save and retrieve the variable containing the google adsense code but it doesn't do anything except display it as plain text on screen.
Similar TutorialsI'm kinda new to PHP programming and I'm working on a large project at my university. Currently I'm working on adding as many choices to the Admin account so he could customize the site to his needs. All I wanted to know is what is the customary way in most sites to save these customization settings? Should I just put them in the database? Or maybe save them in a file (XML or some other kind)? Been scouring Google to find some information but didn't get anything useful so hopefully someone here could help me figure this out. I am trying to save LAST_INSERT_ID() to a session variable for later use but not with much success. This doesn't work. $_SESSION['lastid'] = LAST_INSERT_ID(); Thank you! I want to save the results of a loop as a variable ie $output. I have tried encasing the php within quotes but it does not work. Is there a way to save the complete results as a variable? $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $table2 WHERE $db_item_1 OR $db_item_2", $connection); if (!mysql_num_rows($result)) { echo "Error 13424 - not working"; exit(); } while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { echo "<tr><td scope=\"col\" style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333; padding: 10px 8px; border-bottom: 1px solid #919191;\"><div align=\"left\" style=\"font-size: 20px;\">" . $row['date'] . "</div></td> <td scope=\"col\" style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333; padding: 10px 8px; border-bottom: 1px solid #919191;\"><div align=\"left\"></div></td> <td scope=\"col\" style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333; padding: 10px 8px; border-bottom: 1px solid #919191;\"><div align=\"left\" style=\"font-size: 20px;\">" . $row['title'] . "</div></td> <td scope=\"col\" style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333; padding: 10px 8px; border-bottom: 1px solid #919191;\"><div align=\"left\"></div></td> <td scope=\"col\" style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333; padding: 10px 8px; border-bottom: 1px solid #919191;\"><div align=\"left\" style=\"font-size: 20px;\">" . $row['cost'] . "</div></td> </tr>"; }echo $complete;() The part I want as one result (ie. $complete) is the result of the while loop. There is always at least one result but sometimes 10 which means that it creates 10 table rows. I need to do it this way as later on in the page I use a pdf converter which does not allow loop checks within it otherwise I would just place it within the converter. Hello, I found some little php code to check google index of any site. Code: [Select] <?php function checkSite($www) { $ch = curl_init('http://www.google.pl/search?hl=pl&q=site%3A'.trim($www).'&btnG=Szukaj&source=hp'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); $sHtml = curl_exec($ch); preg_match('#\<div id=resultStats\>.*([0-9,]+) wynik#Ui', $sHtml, $aMatches); curl_close($ch); return (int)str_replace(',', '', $aMatches[1]); } echo checkSite('domain.com'); ?> But to check any site I must edit this code and add new site manually. I'm big beginner in PHP. I want to have a area on browser side to add many sites, and receive result, like in this code which I add. above. Can anybody help me with this? PS. Sorry for my poor English. I have events added to mysql on my site and wish to them also to be added to my Google Calendar. Is this possible? I wrote this basic script yesterday to process and generate a Google Site Map. And it works! BUT I want to advance this script to accommodate for something else and I don't know the correct path to take from here, but I will tell you what I've found out so far.. Current Situation: 1 - Currently my below script generates urls in the site map like: http://abcdefg.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29826 2 - I have .htaccess configured to rewrite the urls to the products name data like: http://abcdefg.com/pennies/wheat-pennies/lincoln-wheat-penny-cent.html (just an example) and these urls are ONLY active if clicking on the site links themselves - meaning if I enter: http://abcdefg.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29826 directly into the url, the url does not resolve to this natural friendly url name. What Id like to achieve (which I don't know what direction I should be looking!): - I'd like my xml output urls (as current) to be written in the natural format (as in #2 above). FYI here is a current example output item in my sitemap: Code: [Select] <url> <loc>http://abcdefg.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=29803</loc> <changefreq>weekly</changefreq> <lastmod>2010-09-24T08:00:00+04:00</lastmod> </url> Can anyone give me some guidance on what method might work for this? Do you think it's more a mod_rewrite issue? Or can this be handled easier with straight up modifications to my below? I'm just a bit confused on what direction I should be looking.. Thanks for any input. <?php header("Content-Type: text/xml;charset=iso-8859-1"); echo '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">'; //include('config.local.php'); $cxn = mysqli_connect($config['db_host'], $config['db_user'], $config['db_password'], $config['db_name']); $query = "SELECT cscart_product_descriptions.product_id, cscart_products.product_id, cscart_products.timestamp FROM cscart_product_descriptions JOIN cscart_products ON cscart_product_descriptions.product_id = cscart_products.product_id WHERE cscart_products.status='A' LIMIT 10000"; $result = mysqli_query($cxn, $query); $row = mysqli_fetch_array($result); while ($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)) { $formatedTime = $row['timestamp']; echo '<url> <loc>http://abcdefg.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=' . $row['product_id'] . '</loc> <changefreq>weekly</changefreq> <lastmod>'. date('c',$formatedTime) .'</lastmod> </url>'; } //while ($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)) echo '</urlset>'; ?> my value, selectname.push(element.name); selectqty.push(element.qty); How to pass Google charts function,
$.each(data, function(index, element) { selectname.push(element.name); selectqty.push(element.qty); google.charts.load('current', { 'packages': ['corechart'] }); google.charts.setOnLoadCallback(drawChart); function drawChart() { var data1 = google.visualization.arrayToDataTable([ ['Task', 'Hours per Day'], ['Work', 11], ['Eat', 2], ['Commute', 2], ['Watch TV', 2], ['Sleep', 7] ]); // var data1 = google.visualization.arrayToDataTable([ // [element.name, element.qty], // // // ]); var options = { title: 'Top 5 Best Selling Products' }; var chart = new google.visualization.PieChart(document.getElementById('piechart')); chart.draw(data1, options); }
Can I use the data fetched with the mysql_fetch_assoc command more than once? What I'm trying to do is query a MySQL DB, and print a list of the results by gender. So far I've only been able to do it by querying the DB twice, and I know there's got to be a more efficient way. I think I should be able to go through the array once, print all the males, then go through the array again and print all the females. But I'm stumped as to how to do it. Here's basically what I'm doing to get my results: Code: [Select] $cxn=mysqli_connect("localhost","username","password","table_name") or die ("Could not connect to database"); $query= "SELECT * FROM blah blah blah"; $result=mysqli_query($cxn,$query) or die ("Couldn't execute query."); while ( $row = mysqli_fetch_assoc($result)) { extract($row); IF ($gender == 'M') { echo "Here is my data for Males"; } } I basically want to re-run the WHILE statement, but check for $gender == 'F', without having to re-run the $result=mysqli_query command again. But when I do that, nothing is displayed and the script ends. Is it just a matter of moving a pointer to the beginning of an array or something similar? Thanks in advance. I want to reuse the data from getFaq for different levels of a website.
$fcid is the variable. Creating the full page in the getFaq function could work but limits the function to one set of results, Do I need to create a new function if I want to create another page with the data and a new call to the database? It seems to me there must be a way to store the array from $fcid and call it from another page to get a subset of the data. I added the getFP class as an attempt to do just that but I am getting no results. If I place the code in the getFP class in the getFAQ function the script works as envisioned. I want to create a getFAQpage, a getFAQheader and a getFAQsubset based on categories. The data is all there in $fcid but I have no idea on how to access it from outside the class.
Dbh is the PDO connection. Class GetData extends Dbh { public function getFaq($site) { $sql = "SELECT faq_cats.faqc_name, faqs.faq_question, faqs.faq_answer FROM faq_cats INNER JOIN faqs ON faq_cats.faqc_id = faqs.faq_cat WHERE faq_cats.faqc_site = ? ORDER BY faq_cats.faqc_name"; $stmt = $this->connect()->prepare($sql); $stmt->execute([$site]); $fcid = $stmt->fetchAll(); return $fcid; } } Class getFP extends GetData { public function getFaqPage([$fcid]) { $fcid = $this->fcid; $fhead = null; foreach ($fcid as $faq) { $fname = $faq["faqc_name"]; $fquest = $faq["faq_question"]; $fans = $faq["faq_answer"]; if ($fhead != $fname) { echo "<h2>".$fname."</h2>"; } echo $fquest."<br />".$fans."<br /><br />"; $fhead = $fname; } } } $faqob = new getFP(); $faqob->getFaqPage([$fcid]);
Hi
I am trying to create a google chart from data in query.php and using the google api to load it. Everything works until I want to change the MetalSourceID from a drop select box.
PHP CODE FOR DROP DOWN BOX:
<form> <select name="users" onchange="showUser(this.value);drawChart();"> <option value=""> Select a Metal: </option> <?php $query = "SELECT TOP(31) tblMetalPrice.MetalSourceID, tblMetalSource.MetalSourceName from tblMetalPrice INNER JOIN tblMetalSource ON tblMetalPrice.MetalSourceID=tblMetalSource.MetalSourceID ORDER BY tblMetalPrice.DateCreated DESC "; $result = sqlsrv_query( $conn, $query); while( $row = sqlsrv_fetch_object ($result)) { echo "<option value='".$row->MetalSourceID ."'>". $row->MetalSourceName ."</option>"; } sqlsrv_close( $conn); ?> </select> </form>This works fine and generates all the correct values. One part of this changes contents of a table which works fine. But I also echo the MetalSourceID into the javascript for the google api, JS script below: <script type="text/javascript"> google.load('visualization', '1', {'packages':['corechart']}); google.setOnLoadCallback(drawChart); function drawChart() { var jsonData = $.ajax({ url: "query.php", dataType:"json", async: false, data: { 'MetalSourceID' : <?php $q = intval($_GET['q']); echo $q; ?> } }).responseText; var data = new google.visualization.DataTable(jsonData); var chart = new google.visualization.LineChart(document.getElementById('chart_div')); chart.draw(data); } </script>This then runs the query.php script and returns the google line chart, a copy of the query.php script is below: Hello, I need to do the following: I have 2 forms on two different pages: Form 1: Name, Email, Phone Form 2: Name, Email, Phone, Address, etc. 1. User fills out Form 1, presses submit 2. Form 1 gets processed and I receive an email with the visitors Name, Email, Phone 3. After the Form has been processed I need to redirect the visitor to a new page (Form 2) 4. When Form 2 loads, fill in the form with the posted variables (Name, Email, Phone) from the previous process Here is my code: Form 1 <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> </head> <body> <form method="post" action="process_form.php"> <input type="text" name="name" /> <input type="text" name="email" /> <input type="text" name="phone" /> <input type="submit" name="submit" value="submit" /> </form> </div> </body> </html> process_form.php <?php $name = $_POST['name']; $email = $_POST['email']; $phone = $_POST['phone']; $to = 'email@provider.com'; $subject = "Contact Form"; $message = "Contact Information\r\n" ."$name\r\n" ."$email\r\n" ."$phone\r\n\"; $headers = "From: $email\r\n"; mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers); // Redirect header("Location: http://www.domain.com/form2/"); ?> Form 2 <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> </head> <body> <form method="post" action="process_form_2.php"> <input type="text" name="name" /> <input type="text" name="email" /> <input type="text" name="phone" /> <input type="text" name="address" /> <input type="text" name="city" /> <input type="text" name="state" /> . . . <input type="submit" name="submit" value="submit" /> </form> </div> </body> </html> The form does get processed and I do get an email with the visitor's info. But I'm not able to pass on the variables from From1 to Form2. Thank you in advance. I'm starting to fear that this is impossible.. I will severely appreciate any kind of advice! On site A, I have a link (an affiliate type link) that redirects to site B. When clicking the link on site A, I use this code to redirect.. header('HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently'); header('Location: ' . $url); exit; the $url var is just site's A URL. What I can't figure out is how to pass a variable from the redirection script onto site B without using a query string in the URL itself ( for example, http://www.siteB.com/?var_to_pass=something) Can passing a variable between two sites be achieved with js.. or XML? I'm willing to use anything as long as I don;t have to add the variable in the URL. Hey guys im a little stumped. My pages has the following links. <a href="?page=yes">Yes</a> to Change content i use <?php if (isset($_GET['page'])) { include ("include/".$_GET['page'].".php"); } else { echo 'Welcome to Liquids Scripts PHP Code repository. Just select the categorie from the top and get all the info required '; } ?> Will this be tracked by google analytics? Any help would be awsome. I got this code made for me to put on my google search code. <?php $click_value = '0.001'; //Amount in dollars that each click is worth function increment_clicks() { //Get current click count if(file_exists('click_count.txt')) $clicks = file_get_contents('click_count.txt'); else $clicks = 0; //Add current click to count $clicks++; //Save new value to file $file = fopen('click_count.txt', 'w'); fwrite($file, $clicks); fclose($file); } function get_click_amount() { global $click_value; //Get current click count if(file_exists('click_count.txt')) $clicks = file_get_contents('click_count.txt'); else $clicks = 0; //Return value of all clicks based on $click_value, formatted to 2 decimal places return number_format($clicks * $click_value, 3); } if (isset($_POST['search'])) { //Search button was clicked, increment count increment_clicks(); } $click_amount = get_click_amount(); ?> <html> <head> </head> <body> <center> <p id="click_amount">$<?php echo $click_amount; ?></p> <form action="" method="POST"> <input type="text" name="search" value="" /> <input type="submit" value="Search" /> </form> </center> </body> </html> Now i do not know how to put it in my google code if you put it on a page by itself it works.
