PHP - Contact Form Script Not Sending Fields
Hi, i have a script problem as I am a graphic designer with zero php knowledge. I have a contact script that sends emails but they are blank. Meaning all text fields are not sending. If you could correct this for me thanks in advance. Here is my hacked up script that sends email with empty fields:
Similar TutorialsHello, I'm new to PHP but i am quite good with javascript programming etc so i'm just getting to terms with using PHP. I've made a contact form with an IF statement that will display confirmation within my page upon post. (I'm not even sure if this logic is right however). The form seems to submit but doesn't show the confirmation message and doesn't send an email to my webserver. Code: [Select] <body> <div id="outer"> <div id="topbar"> </div> <div id="topback"> <img src="images/logo.png" class="logo" /> <a href="index.html" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('hemcurrent','','images/homecurrent.png',1)"><img src="images/home.png" class="logo hem" name="hemcurrent" /></a> <a href="Tjanster.html" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('tjanstercurrent','','images/tjanstercurrent.png',1)"><img src="images/tjanster.png" class="logo links" name="tjanstercurrent" /></a> <a href="OmOss.html" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('omosscurrent','','images/omosscurrent.png',1)"><img src="images/omoss.png" class="logo links" name="omosscurrent" /></a> <a href="Referenser.html" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('referensercurrent','','images/referensercurrent.png',1)"><img src="images/referenser.png" class="logo links" name="referensercurrent" /></a> <a href="KontaktaOss.html"><img src="images/kontaktaosscurrent.png" class="logo links" /></a> </div> <div id="maincontent"> <h1>Nordströms HRK AB - </h1> <h2 class="kontaktaoss"> KONTAKTA OSS</h2> <?php if ($_POST["email"]<>'') { $ToEmail = 'michel@hissorulltrappskonsulter.se'; $EmailSubject = 'Webform Hissorulltrapp'; $mailheader = "From: ".$_POST["email"]."\r\n"; $mailheader .= "Reply-To: ".$_POST["email"]."\r\n"; $mailheader .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n"; $MESSAGE_BODY = "Name: ".$_POST["name"].""; $MESSAGE_BODY .= "Email: ".$_POST["email"].""; $MESSAGE_BODY .= "Comment: ".nl2br($_POST["comment"]).""; mail($ToEmail, $EmailSubject, $MESSAGE_BODY, $mailheader) or die ("Failure"); ?> Your message has been sent <?php } else { ?> <form name="form" id="form" action="KontaktaOss.php" method="post"> <select name="sDepartment" onchange="MM_jumpMenu('parent',this,0)" class="selectDepartment"> <option>Hiss och rulltrappstjänster</option> <option>Teknisk support</option> </select> <input type="text" name="subject" id="name" class="txtDepartment" /> <textarea name="tComments" id="comment" class="txtComments"></textarea> <input type="text" name="tEmail" id="email" class="txtEmail" /> <input type="image" src="images/submit.png" class="bSubmit" value="send" /> <input type="image" src="images/reset.png" class="bReset" /> </form> <?php }; ?> <p class="kontaktaossdetails"><b>Information:</b><br /> Stationsvägen 4C<br /> Täby 187 30 <br /> Telefon: 0702698981<br /> bjorn@hissotrulltrappskonsulter.se<br /> michel@hissorulltrappskonsulter.se<br /> <b>Teknisk Support:</b><br /> joel@hissorulltrappskonsulter.se</p> </div> <div id="tagline"><img class="quote1" src="images/quote1.png" /> <div id="elem0" class="toBeFaded tagline"><p> Björn har under sin anställning utvecklat en gedigen kompetens inom sitt arbetsområde. Thank you. Please help: I'm trying to figure out what is going on with a custom made PHP contact form on my company's multiple websites. Check it out he www.TacticalSolar.com This custom form was made by a former employee and USUALLY works great. Validation, spam checking, database connection, etc. But I've discovered a bug. The form does not always actually send the data to us when it says it does! This problem almost always happens in Internet Explorer and Safari browsers. But sometimes that data shows up. This does not effect Firefox or Chrome. I've been looking everywhere, but no idea what is causing this. Thoughts? Ideas? I'm no PHP coder so even obvious places to look are welcome. Basically what I am needing is when a visitor comes to my site and request info on a product, the form sends the product id or name.
I have the site set up like product.php?Item=26 and the item number changes based on the product. The page items are being populated with info stored in the mysql databse.
I need the email being sent to say something like
Visitors Name has requested info on Item 26 Name - Visitors Name Email - email@me.com Phone - 123-456-7890 Company - Visitors Company Item info requested for Here is the products name URL to product page Basically the "item info" is being pulled from the database. I have asked on different forums and I cannot get a good answer that I can use to make this happen. I might not be explaining it right. Page the form is on is (and all other new-product.php pages) http://www.packagingequipment4sale.com/new-product.php?Item=26Any help would be greatly appreciated I've been ALL over the internet trying to find complete step by step guides on getting php to work for my contact form and I can't find anything. Or at least nothing that makes sense to me. I know nothing about PHP, I'm more of a designer/html/css person. PHP is completely foreign to me and very hard to understand. I have downloaded PHPMailer but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it or how to really configure it. I really need help in that area. This contact form is the last thing I need before I can put my redesign of my website up.
Hi I am learning PHP and working on a Contact Us page with a required fields. For some reason it works great for the name and email, but always says please enter your phone number. If you guys have a better way of doing this please let me know. Also if the email is sent successfully I want it to goto the page "success.html" this part works good though just need some help please Here is the form: Code: [Select] <form action="contact.php" method="post" id="contactform"> <ol> <li> <label for="name">Full Name <span class="red">*</span></label> <input id="name" name="name" class="text" /> </li> <li> <label for="email">Your email <span class="red">*</span></label> <input id="email" name="email" class="text" /> </li> <li> <label for="phone">Phone Number <span class="red">*</span></label> <input id="phone" name="phone" class="text" /> </li> <li> <label for="company">Company</label> <input id="company" name="company" class="text" /> </li> <li> <label for="topic">Subject<span class="red">*</span></label> <input id="topic" name="topic" class="text" /> </li> <li> <label for="comments">Message <span class="red">*</span></label> <textarea id="comments" name="comments" rows="6" cols="50"></textarea> </li> <li class="buttons"> <input type="image" name="imageField" id="imageField" src="images/send.gif" /> </li> </ol> </form> The PHP code I tried: Code: [Select] <?php // Pick up the form data and assign it to variables $name = check_input ($_POST['name'], "Please enter your name"); $email = check_input ($_POST['email'],"Please enter your email"); $phone = check_input ($_POST['phone'], "Please enter your phone number"); $company = $_POST['company']; $topic = check_input ($_POST['topic'], "Please enter your subject"); $comments = check_input ($_POST['comments'], "Please enter your message"); function check_input($data, $problem='') { $data = trim($data); $data = stripslashes($data); $data = htmlspecialchars($data); if (strlen($data) == 0) { die($problem); } else { return $data; } } // Build the email (replace the address in the $to section with your own) $to = 'email@email.com"'; $subject = "New message: $topic"; $message = "Email: $email \n Phone: $phone \n Company: $company \n $name said: $comments"; $headers = "From: $email"; // Send the mail using PHPs mail() function mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers); // Redirect header("Location: success.html"); ?> I'm making a contact form using PHP, I've got the look of the form done and I'm very happy with the look - but the actual email bit is a bit challenging. I'm using the code from a contact form on css-tricks.com, and the script does send emails... and I receive them but the emails are completely blank apart from the 'name: email: message:' stuff and the subject. What am I doing wrong? Here is the code I am using: contact.html Code: [Select] <form method="post" action="contactengine.php" id="commentForm"> <div class="form"> <p><input type="text" name="fullName" id="firstName" class="required" title="Full name" /></p> <p><input type="text" name="emailAddress" id="emailAddress" class="required" title="Email Address" /></p> <p><textarea type="text" name="message" id="message" class="required" title="Message"></textarea></p> </div> <p><input type="submit" name="submit" value="Submit" class="submit-button" title="Send" /></p> </form> contactengine.php $EmailFrom = "enquiries@aplinnovations.co.uk"; $EmailTo = "info@aplinnovations.co.uk"; $Subject = "Contact Form Submission"; $fullName = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['Name'])); $emailAddress = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['Email'])); $message = Trim(stripslashes($_POST['Message'])); $Body = ""; $Body .= "Name: "; $Body .= $fullName; $Body .= "\n"; $Body .= "Email: "; $Body .= $emailAddress; $Body .= "\n"; $Body .= "Message: "; $Body .= $message; $Body .= "\n"; $success = mail($EmailTo, $Subject, $Body, "From: $emailAddress"); I really have no idea how to code in PHP, I know I'm a newbie and I'm sure this is a really dumb question... but please help! Thanks I really need some help. I am very new to PHP and I've been stuck for a couple of days. I created a contact form and everything seems to be working correctly, except the mail is showing it's sent, but I never receive an email in my Inbox or Spam folder. Can someone please review my code? I'm wanting a feedback form on my website where the form is sent via SMTP rather than sendmail. I have checked that php is working by doing this code: Code: [Select] <?php error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors', True); $path = '/home/****/php'; set_include_path(get_include_path() . PATH_SEPARATOR . $path); echo("<p>Sending PEAR Mail.php...</p>"); require('Mail.php'); $from = "Info <info@***.co.uk>"; $to = "Info <info@***.co.uk>"; $subject = "Hi - Test message!"; $body = "Hi,\n\nHow are you?"; $host = "mail.***.co.uk"; $username = "info@***.co.uk"; $password = "***"; $headers = array ('From' => $from, 'To' => $to, 'Subject' => $subject); $smtp = Mail::factory('smtp', array ('host' => $host, 'auth' => true, 'username' => $username, 'password' => $password)); $mail = $smtp->send($to, $headers, $body); if (PEAR::isError($mail)) { echo("<p>" . $mail->getMessage() . "</p>"); } else { echo("<p>Message successfully sent!</p>"); } ?> This works fine. I then created a form in my contact page: Code: [Select] <form name="feedbackform" action="form-mailer2.php" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="Required" value="Name,Comments"> <p>Name: <input name="Name" size="30"> <span class="formsmall">required</span></p> <p>E-mail: <input name="Email" size="30"> <span class="formsmall">optional</span></p> <p>Feedback/Comments:</p> <p><textarea name="Comments" rows="5" cols="40"></textarea></p> <p><input type="submit" value="Submit" name="submitform"><input type="reset" value="Reset" name="reset"></p> </form> I then used the code based on the php initial example and the code file that would get the form details from the contact page and send to the email address via smtp. I have left the validations in - although if these are no good please feel free to tell me! I will want to put a captcha in but need to look into that yet. Anyway, the code I have created is now this (which is saved in the file form-mailer2.php): Code: [Select] <?php error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors', True); $path = '/home/****/php'; set_include_path(get_include_path() . PATH_SEPARATOR . $path); echo("<p>Sending PEAR Mail.php...</p>"); require('Mail.php'); $mailfrom = "info@***.co.uk"; $mailTo = "info@***.co.uk"; $mailSubject = "Web Feedback"; $mailHost = "mail.***.co.uk"; $mailPort = "25"; $mailAuth = "true"; $mailPassword = "****"; // Get the form fields. $name = $_POST['Name']; $email = $_POST['Email']; $comments = $_POST['Comments']; $reqFields = $_POST['Required']; // I find including the time/date useful for record-keeping. // Note that it is the web server's time/date, not yours // or the sender's. $date = date("l jS F Y, g:i A"); // A simple yet reasonably effective email address validator. if ((!ereg(".+\@.+\..+", $email)) || (!ereg("^[a-zA-Z0-9_@.-]+$", $email))) { $errorMessages .= "<li>Invalid email address: $email</li>"; } // Make sure required fields are filled in. $checkFields = explode(",",$reqFields); while(list($theField) = each($checkFields)) { if(!$$checkFields[$theField]) { $errorMessages .= "<li>Missing $checkFields[$theField]</li>"; } } // If there are errors, display them and a back button. if($errorMessages) { ?> <p>Errors were found on the form.</p> <ul> <?php echo $errorMessages; ?> </ul> <p><input type="button" value="Back" onClick="history.back()"></p> <?php } // No errors, send the message and print out success message. else { // Build the email. $body = " Name: $Name Email: $Email Phone: $Phone ----- Comments ----- $Comments -------------------- $headers["From"] = $mailTo; $headers["To"] = $mailTo; $headers["Subject"] = $mailSubject; $params["host"] = $mailHost; $params["port"] = $mailPort; $params["auth"] = $mailAuth; $params["username"] = $mailTo; $params["password"] = $mailPassword; $headers = array ('From' => $from, 'To' => $to, 'Subject' => $subject); $smtp = Mail::factory('smtp', array ('host' => $host, 'auth' => true, 'username' => $username, 'password' => $password)); $mail = $smtp->send($mailTo, $headers, $body); if (PEAR::isError($mail)) { echo("<p>" . $mail->getMessage() . "</p>"); } else { echo("<p>Message successfully sent!</p>"); } // I would rather redirect to a different thank you page but both of next options don't work when taking out: echo("<p>Message successfully sent!</p>"); //RedirectToURL("thank-you.php"); or header(Location: "thank-you.php" ); ?> Depending on what I change about I either get: The website cannot display the page or a list of undefinable variables. If anyone is able to understand the php and notice where the problem lies I would be so grateful. Thank you. Hi guys! New to the community and hope to learn a lot here! Here is some background info and what I want to do, and what I know. I have been building websites for years, and I am familiar with Actionscript 3.0. And I have successful ran a few wordpress websites. What I am trying to do right now however is modify this form script I found, to only email the data when the field isn't left blank. It's stumping me because the actual "message" that ends up being the body of the email is a variable. And form what I can tell I can't figure out how to put if statements into it. If anyone can take a look at this script and give me any pointers you would be awesome. Code: [Select] <?php //trying to store the date in a separate variable only when it's not blank if ($_POST['starttime'] == '') { //nothing; } else { $showStartTime == "Start time: " . $_POST['starttime'] . ""; } if ($_POST['finishtime'] == '') { //nothing; } else { $showFinishTime == "Finish time: " . $_POST['finishtime'] . ""; } // Read POST request params into global vars $to = $_POST['to']; $from = $_POST['from']; $name = $_POST['name']; $company = $_POST['company']; $newcustomer = $_POST['newcustomer']; $address1 = $_POST['address1']; $address2 = $_POST['address2']; $subject = ("Event Rental for " . $name . Please try again.</p>"; } ?> Hello All: Trying to work with PHP on a contact form with a jQuery Validation to make certain that the visitors fill out the required information. I'll try to show everything that I have, and then the error I am getting when the visitor hits "submit." I don't know PHP all that well, and trying to learn my way through it. I used a couple of tutorials to add the features I needed and did my own styling on the live site. Here is the PHP that is currently in the header of my markup: <?php //If the form is submitted if(isset($_POST['submit'])) { //Check to make sure that the First name field is not empty if(trim($_POST['firstname']) == '') { $hasError = true; } else { $firstname = trim($_POST['firstname']); } //Check to make sure that the Last name field is not empty if(trim($_POST['lastname']) == '') { $hasError = true; } else { $lastname = trim($_POST['lastname']); } //Check to make sure that the Street Address 01 field is not empty if(trim($_POST['street01']) == '') { $hasError = true; } else { $street01 = trim($_POST['street01']); } //If Street02 is filled out, give it a value $street02 = $_POST['street02']; //Check to make sure that the City field is not empty if(trim($_POST['city']) == '') { $hasError = true; } else { $city = trim($_POST['city']); } //Check to make sure that the State field is not empty if(trim($_POST['state']) == '') { $hasError = true; } else { $state = trim($_POST['state']); } //Check to make sure that the Zip field is not empty if(trim($_POST['zip']) == '') { $hasError = true; } else { $zip = trim($_POST['zip']); } //If Email is filled out, give it a value $email = $_POST['email']; //If Telephone is filled out, give it a value $telephone = $_POST['telephone']; //Default Subject Value $subject = "VMC Inquiry"; //Check checkboxes foreach($_POST['check'] as $value) { $check_msg = "Checked: $value\n"; } //If Message is filled out, give it a value $comment = $_POST['comment']; //If there is no error, send the email if(!isset($hasError)) { $emailTo = 'xxxx.xxxx@gmail.com'; //Put your own email address here $body = "Name: $firstname $lastname \n\nStreet Address: $street01 \n\nStreet Address*: $street02 \n\nCity: $city \n\nState: $state \n\nZip: $zip \n\nEmail*: $email \n\nTelephone*: $telephone \n\nCheck Box: $check_msg \n\nMessage:\n $comment"; $headers = 'From: XXXXX <'.$emailTo.'>' . "\r\n" . 'Reply-To: ' . $email; mail($emailTo, $subject, $body, $headers); $emailSent = true; } } ?> So basically I am using classes to say whether or not something is required, which ties into the jQuery validation. If it isn't required, whatever the visitor types into the box is put into something like "$telephone" which is then printed in the e-mail. The markup for the forms in the body is the following: Code: [Select] <p class="contact-text-right">For more information, or to have a list of our properties mailed to you, please fill out the form below.</p> <div id="contact-wrapper"> <?php if(isset($hasError)) { //If errors are found ?> <p class="error">Please check if you've filled all the fields with valid information. Thank you.</p> <?php } ?> <?php if(isset($emailSent) && $emailSent == true) { //If email is sent ?> <p class="accept"><strong><?php echo $firstname;?>,Your Email Successfully Sent!</strong></p> <?php } ?> <form method="post" action="<?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; ?>" id="contactform"> <div id="names"> <label for="firstname"><strong>First Name:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="firstname" id="firstname" value="" class="required" /> <label for="lastname"><strong>Last Name:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="lastname" id="lastname" value="" class="required" /> </div> <div id="address01"> <label for="street01"><strong>Street Address:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="street01" id="street01" value="" class="required" /> </div> <div id="address02"> <label for="street02"><strong>Street Address*:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="street02" id="street02" value="" /> </div> <div id="city"> <label for="city"><strong>City:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="city" id="city" value="" class="required city" /> <label for="state"><strong>State:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="state" id="state" value="" class="required state" /> <label for="zip"><strong>Zip Code:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="zip" id="zip" value="" class="required zip" /> </div> <div id="email"> <label for="email"><strong>E-mail*:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="email" id="email" value="" class="email"/> <label for="telephone"><strong>Telephone*:</strong></label> <input type="text" name="telephone" id="telephone" value="" class="telephone" /> <p class="bottom">*Optional fields.</p> </div> <div class="checkbox"> <p><input type="checkbox" name="check[]" value="properties">XXX</p> <p><input type="checkbox" name="check[]" value="contact-regarding">XXXX</p> <p class="indent">(Please list properties or ask specific questions in the space below.)</p> </div> <div id="comment"> <label for="comment"></label> <textarea name="comment" id="comment" ></textarea> </div> <div id="button"> <input type="submit" value="Send Message" name="submit" /> </div> </form> All seems well until I hit submit on the live site. I think get this error returned to me: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ......./html/development/contact.php on line 64 The e-mail goes through, with all the information, no problems! I just can't get this error message to go away. Line 64 of contact.php is where the checkbox coding is: //Check checkboxes foreach($_POST['check'] as $value) { $check_msg = "Checked: $value\n"; } I know I've submitted a lot of code here, and tried to narrow you down to the exact spot I think the problem is, but hopefully some of you PHP gurus can pick out the flaw in a heartbeat. I really appreciate all the help. B Hello, Can someone help me with these contact-form please, I just want to include a file (.pdf, .jpg, .png) and send the mail.
For the moment, the mail is send but not with the file included.

I am new to PHP and am having trouble figuring out what I am doing wrong. The contact form sends the email but once you click submit it says: {"nameMessage":"","emailMessage":"","messageMessage":""} Please see my script, can someone please help! :-( Thank you in advance :-) On all my forms, after I send an empty string to one field, it will stop accepting values when I resubmit. My code passes through the W3C validator Any ideas?? Hello, I have coded a contact form in PHP and I want to know, if according to you, it is secure! I am new in PHP, so I want some feedback from you. Moreover, I have also two problems based on the contact form. It is a bit complicated to explain, thus, I will break each of my problem one by one. FIRST:The first thing I want to know, is if my contact form secure according to you: The HTML with the PHP codes: Code: [Select] <?php if ($_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] == 'POST') { //Assigning variables to elements $first = htmlentities($_POST['first']); $last = htmlentities($_POST['last']); $sub = htmlentities($_POST['subject']); $email = htmlentities($_POST['email']); $web = htmlentities($_POST['website']); $heard = htmlentities($_POST['heard']); $comment = htmlentities($_POST['message']); $cap = htmlentities($_POST['captcha']); //Declaring the email address with body content $to = 'alithebestofall2010@gmail.com'; $body ="First name: '$first' \n\n Last name: '$last' \n\n Subject: '$sub' \n\n Email: '$email' \n\n Website: '$web' \n\n Heard from us: '$heard' \n\n Comments: '$comment'"; //Validate the forms if (empty($first) || empty($last) || empty($sub) || empty($email) || empty($comment) || empty($cap)) { echo '<p class="error">Required fields must be filled!</p>'; header ('refresh= 3; url= index.php'); return false; } elseif (filter_var($first, FILTER_VALIDATE_INT) || filter_var($last, FILTER_VALIDATE_INT)) { echo '<p class="error">You cannot enter a number as either the first or last name!</p>'; return false; } elseif (!filter_var($email, FILTER_VALIDATE_EMAIL)) { echo '<p class="error">Incorrect email address!</p>'; return false; } elseif (!($cap === '12')){ echo '<p class="error">Invalid captcha, try again!</p>'; return false; } else { mail ($to, $sub, $body); echo '<p class="success">Thank you for contacting us!</p>'; } } ?> <form action="<?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];?>" method="post"> <p>Your first name: <span class="required">*</span></p> <p><input type="text" name="first" size="40" placeholder="Ex: Paul"/></p> <p>Your last name: <span class="required">*</span></p> <p><input type="text" name="last" size="40" placeholder="Ex: Smith"/></p> <p>Subject: <span class="required">*</span></p> <p><input type="text" name="subject" size="40" placeholder="Ex: Contact"/></p> <p>Your email address: <span class="required">*</span></p> <p><input type="text" name="email" size="40" placeholder="Ex: example@xxx.com"/></p> <p>Website:</p> <p><input type="text" name="website" size="40" placeholder="Ex: http//:google.com"/></p> <p>Where you have heard us?: <span class="required">*</span></p> <p><select name="heard"> <option>Internet</option> <option>Newspapers</option> <option>Friends or relatives</option> <option>Others</option> </select></p> <p>Your message: <span class="required">*</span></p> <p><textarea cols="75" rows="20" name="message"></textarea></p> <p>Are you human? Sum this please: 5 + 7 = ?: <span class="required">*</span></p></p> <p><input type="text" name="captcha" size="10"/></p> <p><input type="submit" name="submit" value="Send" class="button"/> <input type="reset" value="Reset" class="button"/></p> </form> SECOND PROBLEM:If a user has made a mistake, he gets the error message so that he can correct! However, when a mistake in the form occurs, all the data the user has entered are disappeared! I want the data to keep appearing so that the user does not start over again to fill the form. THIRD: When the erro message is displayed to notify the user that he made a mistake when submitting the form, the message is displaying on the top of the page. I want it to appear below each respective field. How to do that? In JQuery it is simple, but in PHP, I am confusing! I have read around and can't seem to find the right coding for what I need on this forum and some other other forums. I have a contact form (as listed below) and I need 2 locations (Print Name and Title) fields to auto-populate on a separate form (can be a doc, pdf, etc. any form of document which is easiest) and this form can be totally back end and the individual using the form never is going to see the form. It's going on a contract form, that we would like to auto-populate. Also is there a simple attachment code so individuals can attach documents to the code? <p style: align="center"><form action="mailtest.php" method="POST"> <?php $ipi = getenv("REMOTE_ADDR"); $httprefi = getenv ("HTTP_REFERER"); $httpagenti = getenv ("HTTP_USER_AGENT"); ?> <input type="hidden" name="ip" value="<?php echo $ipi ?>" /> <input type="hidden" name="httpref" value="<?php echo $httprefi ?>" /> <input type="hidden" name="httpagent" value="<?php echo $httpagenti ?>" /> <div align="center"> <p class="style1">Name</p> <input type="text" name="name"> <p class="style1">Address</p> <input type="text" name="address"> <p class="style1">Email</p> <input type="text" name="email"> <p class="style1">Phone</p> <input type="text" name="phone"> <p class="style1">Debtor</p> <input type="text" name="debtor"> <p class="style1">Debtor Address</p> <input type="text" name="debtora"> <br /> <br /> <a href="authoforms.php" target="_blank" style="color:#ffcb00" vlink="#ffcb00">Click here to view Assignment Agreement and Contract Agreement</a> <p class="style1"><input type='checkbox' name='chk' value='I Have read and Agree to the terms.'> I have read and agree to the Assignment and Contract Agreement <br></p> <p class="style1">Print Name</p> <input type="text" name="pname"> <p class="style1">Title</p> <input type="text" name="title"> <p class="style1">I hear by agree that the information I have provided is true, accurate and the information I am submitting is <br /> not fraudulent. Unfortunatelly the cell carrier has put a "delay" threshold of 30 seconds between sms that you can send in order to prevent sms spamming. The problem is that my script had a foreach loop that it just send out the sms to everyone so it took around 0.5-1 second for each sms.. Way to low for the 30 seconds that now are enforced. Do you have any ideas of what i can do to "force" my script to obey that 30 second delay between each sms? I thought of putting a cron job every 1 minute and send one by one the sms but wouldn't that be a problem to the server to have to execute 1440 times per day a script? I also thought of using some sleep function but i don't know if that would result in finally the script to output a success result after 10*30=300seconds(5mins).. Any ideas are appreciated! Here are the project of files: So the problem I'm running into is, while php ---> php is fine (it's recovering all of my variables, I've tested with echo), the problem seems to be where I have made a command ./createlisting.sh $itemno $title $header $description $image It reads in $itemno, $title, $header $description just fine, but it fails when I try to send an image. Again I've echoed it out and my $image variable contains the correct image name. When it gets sent to the bash script and the bash script sends it to a "log.txt" it only shows $1 thru $4, excluding the $5. When I try to use the img src to create the image on the page, the outputting echo on the page is <img src ="/images/" /> Which of course is going to result in nothing. What advice can you guys offer me? I'm hosted with hostgator, though I'm in nigeria, I run SMF 2.0.1 forum on my site, my targeted members are nigerians too. I have sms gateway with bbnsms.com, please guyz I need the script and html form for only phone number field(No message Field) as I want to send the same message that I already compose to all the phone numbers. Thanks guyz. Hi all, Our webhost has upgraded to a more secure mail server and since then all the enquiries we receive from our own website don't have our name to them. For example: Before the mail server was changed our emails from our contactus.php would come in as Joe Bloggs Ltd <"enquiries@joebloggs.com">. With all the usual subject/message. Now it comes through as ourusername@server1.host.com On Behalf Of enquiries@joebloggs.com This wouldn't be a problem, except this happens on any of the successfully registered etc emails which come from our regirstration area on the website (as it uses a very similar script method). So our customers sometimes block the email as its coming from a random address. The script works as so: Code: [Select] $contact_to_email="enquiries@joebloggs.com"; $contact_subject="Alert: "; $contact_from_email="enquiries@joebloggs.com"; $visitor_name_and_email="$visitor_name (" . $visitor_email . ")"; $contact_from_email="$contact_from_name <$contact_from_email>"; $message_subject="Website Enquiry"; //message $headers = "From: " . $contact_from_email . "\r\n"; $headers .= "Reply-To: ". $contact_from_email . "\r\n"; $headers .= "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n"; $headers .= "Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8\r\n"; mail($contact_to_email, $contact_subject." $message_subject", $message, $headers); I've stripped out input verification etc to make it easier to read. Is there anything I can do to the script above to cure the issue? Ta! Hi, I have this script, it all works fine until it gets to the message sending point. What I want is if the $registerMail variable is set to yes then send the message and redirect user to login page, if not then just redirect the user to the login page.
