PHP - Display Posts In Order From Newest To Oldest By Date?
I have a posting system worked out, as well as my database configured to my linking.. But as of right now, my posts are posted from oldest to newest, having users scroll down or go to the next page to see the most recent post.
How would I "flip" that around and make my posts start from newest to oldest by its date/time (Which is stored in the database)?

Good day I have three tables - receiving - shipping and stock movement. everyday i transfer into stock movent the sum of receining with date - havein a stock movent entry per day - I also at end of day update with shipping for that day, in stock table I calculate ne stock level. my problem is that when three days bac i stil have stock i need to start subtracting from oldest entry first till it reaches 0 the move over to second eldest? i have no idea where to start or how to achieve this i have a problem..my posts are showing up like this: July 6: post message July 6: post message July 6: post message im trying to get it like this: July 6: post message post message post message how do i group them like this in all in one post? hey I am not usually in this php forum, I am usually around html/css but a task arose and I figure since this forum uses smf it would be a perfect place to ask. Not saying you are all smf experts though. My question is how do I display the latest posts for smf in a page thats not a forum page. Can anyone help me with what I have wrong? Many thanks I have 2 tables I have settup called Users_Messages and Users_Message_Replies inside each of these tables I have a row called DateSent, I'm trying to select from both of these tables and only display the latest Sent item by ID and order them all by date.
