Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I need to be able to run some PHP code before anything loads up on the server.
Similar TutorialsHello, I've been assigned the task of creating an internal site for our office that has links to all the websites we use as well as the applications we use. I'm very comfortable using php with mysql for handling forms and displaying database information but I'm not sure how to go about this. So my question is, is there anyway I can use php to open an exe file? Code: [Select] <?php exec('java -jar/MicroChatServer.jar',$output); print_r($output); ?> Hello frds......... I have chat prg. jar file and I have to integrate this chat in a PHP website uses Wampserver.... I try above code but it display "Array()" instead of execute jar file. What should I do???? Any idea?????????????// Hey guys, im starting out on my php journey with a small question. I have a small uploading site and i want to allow php uploads. Once uploaded, you get a direct upload link, and i want the file to download, rather than execute. How can this be done? Thanks! So I am working on my own PHP framework and I am using this:
php_value auto_prepend_file library/fw.php php_value auto_append_file library/fw.phpTo auto prepend and append file. In that file I have check if instance of core class located in fw.php is defined so it will not prepend and append duplicates. With this I reduced index.php code by these 2 lines // This should be at beggining of index php $fw = Base::getInstance(); // This should be at very end of index.php $fw->run();Is it good or bad way? Can PHP dynamically change .htaccess files? I'm writing a script that opens a webpage and pulls out the pictures for editing. The problem I'm having is the pictures are protected from hotlinking with htaccess. The script is on a different domain. I know it's possible to do this but after much searching and experimentation I can't work it out. Any ideas? I have around 14 script files for an admin page.
I am looking to block the access to 10 of them with .htaccess, so they can not get called up through the URL with the web browser, by for example guessing the name.
<Files index.php> Order Allow,Deny Allow from all </Files>How to set up, so I can have "those" 10 files in there? Also, when comes to having an admin page and blocking the access to "those" script files is this the proper way to do it? I would appreciate the suggestions a lot! Edited by glassfish, 25 October 2014 - 11:06 AM. Hi Guys, I have the following script which works fine for GoogleMaps Code: [Select] <?php require'EasyGoogleMap.class.php'; $gm = & new EasyGoogleMap("rYvyXhRFPYW5tkV_IE5hWxecUidHAYjJhBSp59xzQuNZcoxNYCiaum4_Xb66Fw"); $gm->SetMarkerIconStyle('STAR'); $gm->SetMapZoom(10); $gm->SetAddress("10 market st, san francisco"); $gm->SetInfoWindowText("This is the address # 1."); $gm->SetAddress("Manila, Philippines"); $gm->SetInfoWindowText("This is Philippine Country."); $gm->SetSideClick('Philippines'); ?> <html> <head> <title>EasyGoogleMap</title> <?php echo $gm->GmapsKey(); ?> </head> <body> <?php echo $gm->MapHolder(); ?> <?php echo $gm->InitJs(); ?> <?php echo $gm->GetSideClick(); ?> <?php echo $gm->UnloadMap(); ?> </body> </html> I've now coded that static page to take the following, and within the GoogleMaps database field entered in exactly the following $gm->SetAddress("10 market st, san francisco"); $gm->SetInfoWindowText("This is the address # 1."); $gm->SetAddress("Manila, Philippines"); $gm->SetInfoWindowText("This is Philippine Country."); $gm->SetSideClick('Philippines'); Code: [Select] <?php $maps_find = $OO_Open->newFindCommand('Maps'); $maps_find->AddFindCriterion('AccountName','xx'); $maps_result = $maps_find->execute(); $maps_row = current($maps_result->getRecords()); $Gdata = $maps_row->getField('GoogleMaps'); //echo $Gdata; //exit; ?> <?php require'EasyGoogleMap.class.php'; $gm = & new EasyGoogleMap("my key"); $gm->SetMarkerIconStyle('GT_FLAT'); $gm->SetMapZoom(10); $gm->SetMapWidth(1080); # default = 300 $gm->SetMapHeight(550); # default = 300 echo $maps_row->getField('GoogleMaps'); //eval("\$Gdata = \"$Gdata\";"); ?> <html> <head> <title>EasyGoogleMap</title> <?php echo $gm->GmapsKey(); ?> </head> <body> <?php echo $gm->MapHolder(); ?> <?php echo $gm->InitJs(); ?> <?php echo $gm->GetSideClick(); ?> <?php echo $gm->UnloadMap(); ?> </body> </html> Is there way of getting the $maps_row->getField('GoogleMaps'); command to behave as if it was php (when I echo it, it does display the code as text). I'm not using the FileMaker db to store the code, I thought eval function was the answer but not had much luck. There are various parts of the code I don't understand and I don't even know if some bits are PHP or MySQL as it is far in advance of my experience. If I give some examples I would be grateful if anyone could give me some pointers on what the code means. Example 1: $variable_name = $connection->Execute('SELECT etc, etc, etc') I have already tried to find the answers on the PHP and MySQL websites and searched on Google to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help. I am trying to get a php script on a remote server to execute on my server but im having problems getting it to work, and i am not sure if it is even feasible i have had a look on google but i cant find much information on it. This is what i have tried up to now I saved a php script as a txt file on y remote server. then used file_get_contents on my home server $curl_scraped_page = file_get_contents('http://www.remote_server.com/script.txt'); the content of the txt file was $sum = 1+1; then i tried to echo $sum on the home server but i did not work can anyone point me in the right direction or is what i am trying to do even feasible? Thanks in advanced This topic has been rewritten to mod_rewrite. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=356324.0 (have I used that one before? I need to write these down somewhere) Hi! I was wondering if there is a way to execute php code which is stored in mysql database using php. At the minute I am using a echo to try and run php code stored in a mysql database but this just displays the code and does not run the php code. Thanks for any help! I'm kind of a beginner in PHP and I'm not sure how complicated is this thing I need to do so I just need a little bit of help. Anyway, I have this clock counter on a few of my pages, counting down to 0 and what I need to do is execute certain code 15 minutes before a counter reaches 0. It's basically the same code but it needs to run every time one of the counters is 15 minutes away from 0. Any simple way for me to achieve this? Thanks! I am using WPSQT plugin in my blog site .I code some files in PHP also.how to add that files in plugin files.
Hello, I'm learning how to write simple CMS and I'd like it to support page aliases. So that instead of http://www.myweb.com/?id=123 I could use http://www.myweb.com/some-page for example. I don't want to use rewrite rules in .htaccess but I'd like to do it similarly as Drupal. I understood Drupal redirects 404 page not found error to index.php and then somehow handles it. Can you advise how to do it please? Or is there any tutorial or example available? Thank you in advance! Vojta This one requires lots of up front information: I have a page, for this example that I will call page.php. It takes get parameters, and for this example I'll call the parameter "step". So I have a URL like this: page.php?step=1 This page has a form with an action of page.php?step=1. The code on the page validates the posting information. If the information is bad, it returns the user to page.php?step=1; if it is good, it takes the user to page.php?step=2 via header( "location:page.php?step=2" ). So redirection is done by relative path, not full URLs. This all works as expected. Now what I've done is set .htaccess to be HTTPS for this page, via this code: # Turn SSL on for payments RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} \/page\.php [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L] This works (initially). However, once you try to post the form, it just redirects back to the step=1 version of the page. I really don't know how or why that would be. I'm not sure how else I can explain this or what other information you may have. But it's frustrating to not get a page working in HTTPS that works in HTTP. Very odd. Any suggestions? (I don't even really know the best location to figure out when/why it's redirecting back to the original page.) Greetings to all!
Newbie here, I just signed up this morning. I have an issue with a code I have been using for several years with multiple files/directories. Until recently all of the files have worked flawlessly. Now I have one file in a directory that does not display the text I which I am attempting to call up and it was working until recently.
Every file with the same code as the errant one work flawlessly except for the errant one, and I have 11 files to be displayed on my website at https://TheLoveOfGod.org They are all listed under the Devotionals menu button except for one which is displayed on the home page. I have absolutely no training in web design, I am self taught. I began by hand typing html coding over 30 years ago and am now using Word Press with Elementor . I do not understand why this is happening. Can any of you offer assistance to resolve this. I thank you in advance for your assistance.
