PHP - Curl - Purchasing Items With Cookies.
Been working awhile on getting this completed with no luck

But..Instead of it purchasing items with the script provided above and me having my cookies in there it just echo's them back out and onto the page, I would like for it to send the request to the requested url and purchase the item within the $data function. Similar Tutorials1. I want cURL to use cookies from my browser (i use firefox). So i have the cookies.sqlite file. Or does it need a different syntax? 2. How can i make cURL read those cookies? P.S. What i want to do is access a site with cURL, but make it read cookies from a file that contains cookies exported from my browser. I want to use curl on a website that requires you to be logged in. It's not a very fancy site, so I don't think it saves the cookie to only be used by a certain IP, but that shouldn't be a problem, because I can always just create a new user for use on the server. I know the domain, path, name and content (of course also the date it expires), because this is already set in my web browser. I also know how to connect to the website and get it with curl, but I want to get data from the website that I can only get while I'm being logged in. So basically, I want to use the data I know about the cookie to make sure I'm logged in so I'm able to get the data that only logged in users can get. However in the header that i get there's plenty of Set-Cookie: 2. I've set CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER to false, however I still see the webpage when I run cURL. I even deleted the portion where I echoed the buffer (I used to have CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER set to true). I used to have this portion of the code if (empty($buffer)) { print "Sorry, unable to retrive site.<p>"; } else { print $buffer; } but all the buffer printed out was "1" (without the quotes) Any ideas? I'm trying use curl to login into a page that sets cookies using javascript, but curl doesn't register the cookies. Is there another way of getting the javascript cookies? I recently made a fake website using this phpacademy tutorial I found. Anyways it has an quantity stock what I mean by this is let's I have 3 copies of a video game an a person set they quantity for 2 of the 3 copies and proceed to the checkout through paypal payment successful okay. My question is: How can I go about sending the quantity stock back to the database to subtract 2 from 3 to be left with 1 copy of the game in the quantity section after a successful purchase? I have a site that allows you to search for a customer then view and change their detail. page 1 has a search box for name entry. page 2 displays all the matches retrieved from a db table that match. The user selects which customer is the correct 1 and sets a cookie containing the selected customers unique id. page 3 allows changing of the customers details. now the problem I have: If a user navigates to page 3 and has a customers details on page for viewing all is well. If they open a new tab (leaving page 3 open on first tab) and go to page 1, search for another customer, page 2 select another customer (which overwrites cookie) then to page 3. They now have two tabs open on page 3 both displaying different customer details. If they return to the first tab and change some detail, when they save it actually updates the users details that corrispond to the second tab. I know this is because the cookie has been changed that holds the unique id that is required for the update query. How can I prevent this? Basically, I've had to change the settings of my CMS which has resulted in me now having the same cookie names for the cookie domains .domain.com and www.domain.com. I know I can just clear my cookies and the problem will be sorted, but it's not feasible for me to expect users of my site to clear their cookies. So my question is this. How can I delete the cookies created using www.domain.com with PHP? Everytime I set the expiry date of the cookies, it only applies it to those on .domain.com. Any help would be gratefully appreciated!! |
