PHP - Inserting Php Code Into Wordpress/ Optimize Press
Hi guys,
Having some trouble entering some php into my wordpress site that runs on Optimize Press.
I'm trying to insert this URL/ tracking code into my page as a hyperlink - 'Click Here Now'.

This is what I have done so far:

This does generate a hyperlink, however when I click it, I get: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '=' at line 2
I understand for this code to work the page has to be saved in php. I thought wordpress did this automatically?
Can anyone help please? Also, please bear in mind I am using the Optimize Press plugin.

I am very new to PHP and have tried various techniques but I am getting a 500 error when clicking on the export button to download a csv report. I'm not sure why the previous developer did it this way. Is there a better why in PHP to make this code better? Willing to understand and learn from an PHP expert. The database is MYSQL.

Hi, I have built a custom php program for a client which takes information submitted in a html form and calculates a persons bmi.
I have tested and it works fine, this is in one page (one file).
My problem is I have tried to insert it in to wordpress using both shortcodes and php tag plugins
(you can't insert php in to posts and pages as standard on wordpress)
and I can't get it to work.
The closest I've got is using a php tag plugin that uses shortcodes to replace <?php & ?> but when I submit, it just reloads the page and form rather than showing the result.
as I've said it works fine outside of wordpress. :-\

Hi - I'm using the WP Job Boards plugin for Wordpress. I've been given this code to create a quick search form to place in a widget. I've tried to paste the code in a sidebar widget and apparently after somebody inputs the keyword and location they should be sent to the results page which will show their results, however, it's not doing that, just showing me a 'page cannot be found' result.

This is kind of hard to explain, but I will try my best. I have a script that is attempting to display information in a MySQL database by month fields that are chosen by the user. For instance, they can choose for the start date to start in January, and pick the end date which in this example will be April. The script then puts the required field that match the specific dates into a column for each month. For the most part it outputs fine as: Jan: 15, Feb: 14, Mar: 9, Apr: 2. However, sometimes there is nothing in the database for certain months. This causes the script to display wrong so instead I get: Jan 3, Feb: , Mar: , Apr: . In the above example, the Jan: 3 might be wrong, because the field might have been for Mar instead. I need it to display like this when there is no fields in the database: Jan: 0, Feb: 0, Mar: 3, Apr: 0. How would I go about doing this? I have this simple form that registers schools. This year I have decide to upgrade and include a feature that checks if the school is already registered or not based on the imputed name. I've completed the work apart from the fact that on the old site the client has a webpage with an email subscription form for subscribing to a newsletter. The form takes a 'Name' and 'Email Address' and writes these to a MySQL database in the back end. I've tried adding the code to a page in wordpress and have a few plugins which allow PHP code execution on both the sidebar and page but when the button is clicked to submit the subscription nothing appears to happen as on the origonal page. I really need to know whether this type of code could be imported into Wordpress and made to work or how to go about writing a wordpress page that will write to the same database.
