PHP - Server Can't Connect To Specific Xml

Is there a way for me to connect to a directory on a NAS server running a windows share from PHP.
I can connect from the command line using mount, but I want the connect within my PHP script.
Can this be done & if so how?

This connects fine. However, I don't know how to log in now. If I'm connecting from the terminal I then type "user annie" followed by "pass idontlikesand". I don't know how to pipe this in using php.

Any ideas?

When i am trying to run one script on my web server, i get following error

Cannot connect to the database using the info you provided
Access denied for user 'My_Username'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

I filled all info like Host(localhost) Database name(created in cpanel) Username(created in cpanel) Password(i kept blank dont know where to find this)

Have actually tried this mailer on localhost and it worked perfectly. The information on the php.net documentation seems to be out of date.   http://php.net/manua...databases.mssql   as the link to the necessary libraries for Linux is broken.    Can you tell me, or point me to what is needed to connect to MSSQL with PHP 5.3.3/Apache  on Red Hat Linux   If there is more than one option, we would like to know what they are and the installation details.   Thanks

Okay guys I have finished my db and I want to upload it to a live server but don't know exactly what to change in the code to get the ODBC_connect to open the path at the new server location please help.

my database  is located in a subfolder called Databases

i.e. "www.mydomain.com/Databases/myEvents.mdb"

what do i change in the connection string below to get it to open the file on the live server? Thanks in advance.

Good Day    I have a bit of an issue with my website I loaded on my domain.   I am getting an error:   SQLSTATE[HY000] [1130] Host 'xxx.xxx.xx.xxx' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server   Can some one please explain to me in detail how do fix this?   It only shows on my Sale and Rent pages

Most of the time my localhost works like a champ but occasionally I  get  ... mysqli_connect() [function.mysqli-connect]: (HY000/2005): Unknown MySQL server host 'localhost' (11001)

On phpfreaks I've searched for "Unknown MySQL server host localhost " and didn't see an answer to this problem

Then I googled and found this http://stackoverflow...-localhost11001

However in this file the localhost ip is commented out and windows wont let me edit the file to uncomment it like it's done in the stackflow post.   So, one is this the likely problem ... and if it is how do I edit a file in the Windows folder?   As a note I do go into the file as the administrator using notepad   Thanks

I'm writing an application that pulls from two separate web based APIs, collates the data into a single array of data.  Once done, it then enters a loop that cycles through the array and executes a cURL call for each cycle.  This worked perfectly for a controlled set of 10 artificial records and so I've started testing with live data.

On running the code, I eventually the following :
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

I'm not sure how to debug this and so I'm hoping I can find some help here.
I'm running WAMP, and the php.ini contains the following:
max_execution_time = 0   ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
max_input_time = 0   ; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data

Through testing, I have discovered the following :
The script can do exactly 35 iterations through the loop in under 2 minutes.
Any number greater than this causes the error.
If I skip the first 20 curl submits, I can then do 21 to 55 iterations before failure, so I do not believe it is the 36th value.
If I put a sleep(5) command into the loop, I can still do 35 and no more iterations than that.
If I put a sleep(10) command into the loop, it fails on 35 and needs less.

I am uncertain whether it is a PHP, Apache or cURL issue at this point.  I have another script that pushes a great deal more cURL calls to the same system but pulls from only one external resource, instead of two.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

hi all, i have a test server (newest xampp) and the code works fine, as soon as i upload to 1and1 (they use apachi, php and mysql) i get this message: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
i have double checked username and passwords, had a look on google, contacted there support with no luck yet.
i am wondering if its a mysql or php version problem, so hoping someone knows when the following code with classes etc was added or if someone knows how to fix it i be really greatful.

I use the Wholesale Suite Premium Prices plugin with WooCommerce. I have 6 specific wholesale roles out of 15 that I wish to hide two specific shipping methods from being selected for the 6 exceptions. I'm just trying this on my staging server at this time using a code snippet example that I found and modified for my specific conditions. Would the following work for this purpose?
