PHP - Split Sentence, Treating Comma As Group?
I have a sentence of say English litriture, i'm after splitting it into words, but the commas (and such, :, are to be treat as a word them selves, i.e. so I can know where they are. Full stops / periods can be ignore since previously split on them.

Input Example: I am working in retailon.
and should display the output as reversing first and last word and second word to fourth word
and so on and the middle word should be same and should also display the number of words.
Output Example: retailon in working am i.
words=5.
Input:I am Working in Google.
Output:Google in Working am I.

Hello guys, basically i am doing a search function based on regular expressions. What i have done is to store the string i want to regex as a variable. Variable is named as $new_string -> preg_split("/\.\(.*\)\.\(.*\)/", $file); So inside the while loop, i would like to call another variable to store $new_string. However, I found out that the preg_split function stored inside $new_string doesn't work. They all contain dates in different formats. e.g.

Is there a way to extract just the date from this and turn it into a standard format. For example dd/mm/yyyy

I want to find the first sentence in a string without counting decimals.
