PHP - Android Php Based Applications
Hi.I found out that PHP developers can make apps for android too with zend which I'm really interested in.Does anyone have any resource or tutorial teaching how to do that?for now the apps I'm going to develop are just going to contain Text.not advanced apps do crazy things.
BTW I'm new to php and trying to learn fudamentals etc.If I want to go into app development wouldn't it confuse me?can I do that?thanks and sorry for my english
Similar TutorialsI have two related websites which utilize the same database: Main website for public use. Admin website for administration purposes.Currently, I have both located in /var/www/combined-app which is a single git repository and contains the following: /var/www/combined-app/ public/ public-admin/ src/ main/ admin/ vendor/ composer.json bootstrap.php Alternatively, I could have done the following: /var/www/combined-app/ main/ public/ src/ vendor/ composer.json bootstrap.php admin/ public/ src/ vendor/ composer.json bootstrap.php Or maybe something else all together? Is one approach typically better than the other? If so, please provide reasons why. If my second example, would you recommend separate git repositories for main and admin? Thanks A while back, I started using Doctrine and feel it brings many benefits, however, I experience many issues when the database schema contains unique indexes. I have since learned that deferrable constraints exist for some DB's and their use will eliminate my issues. According to MySQL's documentation the SQL standard is to make them the default, however, MySQL does not do so (and apparently neither does MariaDB which I typically use). I am considering changing databases. Any recommendations? I've always heard good things about postgresql. Thoughts? Much of a learning curve to change?
Thanks
Per https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/ansi-diff-foreign-keys.html: In an SQL statement that inserts, deletes, or updates many rows, foreign key constraints (like unique constraints) are checked row-by-row. When performing foreign key checks, InnoDB sets shared row-level locks on child or parent records that it must examine. MySQL checks foreign key constraints immediately; the check is not deferred to transaction commit. According to the SQL standard, the default behavior should be deferred checking. That is, constraints are only checked after the entire SQL statement has been processed. This means that it is not possible to delete a row that refers to itself using a foreign key.
Hi Everyone !!!! This topic has been moved to Miscellaneous. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=321687.0 Good morning! I was wondering how can i access the php data to the health data (steps, heart rate etc ..) of devices with android and ios? I don't know maybe by inserting the keys I can access the json with the related data... I tried to search a bit on the internet but I see that I can only do it if I create an app for both systems and then from there I enter the data in my mysql database.. I don't know where to start, do you know something? Thank you I want to build a online "app builder" project that users can create android / iphone applications online without any coding knowledge. These sites are very common in market. They offer onclick app builder. I have skill in development of web applications using php frameworks. My question is How we can generate android apk from our server after getting the necessary information from user? (Appname, icon, packagename etc) PHP can do this entire task?, if yes any framework for that? Can you give me some basic tips to generate apk from our server? Can we genrate both android and iphone app from one single code? What are the requirements needed for the server? Anybody having skills in these areas, please help me. I need basic tips to get started this project. Thanks I have php code that uses mp3 audio files stored in a database for the user to listen to. The page loads and the audio controls work and the files play on a desktop and laptop just fine. When trying to play a file on an android or IPhone, when you press the play (or any other control) nothing happens. It acts like the page is static. There is a home button on the webpage and it works so I know the page is interactive. Below is the code. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
<?php As mention in my title, I am using wordpress, bought a theme and the support team is not able to assist me without the FTP access.
URL: http://www.icv.solutions/swagger
Mobile: Android 4.4.2
Chrome: version 39.0.2171.93
Safari: star safari version 1.1
I am not able to scroll only on the above browser, other browser like firefox and default internet explorer on mobile have no such issue.
In fact the older version of chrome have no such issue too,
If anyone could give me a hint where might the problem lies at or any help at all, would be great.
I have been struggling with this for awhile now.
Thanks and happy holiday!
I inherrited a site that has PHP code that decides to either serve the dedicated mobile site or desktop site to the user. I would prefer that tablets get served the mobile site. Currently Android tablet users get served the desktop site. I'd like to figure out how I can implement User Agent to detect an android tablet (with distinction from an Android phone) This is the code I'm working with to determine which site to serve (mobile or desktop) Thanks if ((strpos($user_agent, 'Mobile') === false && // Generic mobile browser string, most browsers have it. strpos($user_agent, 'SymbianOS') === false && // Nokia device running Symbian OS. strpos($user_agent, 'Opera M') === false && // Opera Mini or Opera Mobile. strpos($user_agent, 'Android') === false && // Android devices that don't have 'Mobile' in UA string. stripos($user_agent, 'HTC_') === false && // HTC devices that don't have 'Mobile' nor 'Android' in UA string. Case insensitive. strpos($user_agent, 'Fennec/') === false && // Firefox mobile strpos($user_agent, 'Kindle') === false && // Kindle Fire tablet strpos($user_agent, 'BlackBerry') === false) || // BlackBerry strpos($user_agent, 'iPad') === false) // iPad { // Serve Desktop Site return false; } I have a little php site that looks up data in my crm database quickly and easily on my iphone. Right now it's wide open because I'm in and out of it all day and trying to input uid/pw into a secure login page is a pain in the rear. (we're not talking about sensitive data here and I'm the only user.) So, I would like to design a screen with several large graphic buttons and be able to touch those buttons in a specific sequence that would functionally allow a secure login. Similar in concept to the android screen lock. You touch a sequence of numbered buttons and voila, the screen unlocks. It does not open a text field for data entry into two separate fields. So if my access code was 1,2,3,4 and the screen was divided into quarters with a large number on each one, I would touch the buttons in that order and it would open the main page. How would this best be accomplished? Is there a php function to essentially build a variable through successive key presses? then with a final submit it would just check that against a "secret code" and allow access. Thanks for any input. This topic has been moved to Ajax Help. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=359538.0 Hello. I want to make a web-based rpg with mysql and php but need alot of help, I tryed once and failed. Please msn me: cginbarrhaven@hotmail.com I need LOTS of help. Im stuck! Zeroth I have a page where I want a success and a fail response. It's a contact page so, if they fill in all that's required, and send, a success "message" will pop up but if they send but for some reason, it fails, to display a fail "message". What it does right now is the fail and success are constantly visible regardless. So how do I make it display the corresponding message accordingly? *Also how am I to make the text within the boxes invisible ? But that's lower priority Hi, I need to create a secure API at work so that 2 systems can interact with each other and request data (json format). I need to use an API key for this but don't want to use an API key stored in a database, what is the best way to go about this? I would like to use some sort of encryption algorithm and a white list of a few values to validate against once decrypted, is this safe and are there any algorithms I can use to generate my keys and white list? Hello folks. I have a system showing stock of products. Now I want to colorize the value based on how much it is. For example 0 is red and then green is 10 000 and up. So the range should be like a smooth gradient. What's the algorithm? Hi all, Relitively new to PHP but am trying to code a site that dynamically creates urls using Joomla CMS. Basically I'd like a div to show on pages' url starts /component/.... but hide it if not. The urls of the pages on which the div is to be hidden start /index.php?. I've tried Code: [Select] <?php if (strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], 'component') > 0) { echo '<div id=\"stuffdiv\">stuff</script></div>';} ?> only issue is... its always fasle hence the div never shows. If i replace > with >= its always true, and appears on all pages, even those not containing 'component'... Can someone tell me if this should work or if Im being really stupid? Thanks in advance! Tom hi everyone. i need to figure out how to display one tr or another based on if N/A appears in one of the TR's. if i use: 'if ($result['NoChargeFile'] = 'N/A')' it repeats N/A for all rows. if i use: 'if ($result['NoChargeFile'] = N/A)' only the TotalFees TR is displays. What i need to do is display the TOTALFEES if the NOCHARGEFILE is not N/A. If NOCHARGEFILE is N/A, display N/A instead of the TOTALFEES. Any ideas how to fix this issue? thanks. Code: [Select] <?php echo "<table width='100%' border='0' cellpadding='1'>"; $string = $string."$pages->limit"; $query = mysql_query($string) or die (mysql_error()); $result = mysql_fetch_array($query); if($result==true) { do { echo "<tr>"; echo '<td nowrap>' . $result['CompanyName'] . '</td>'; echo '<td nowrap>' . $result['CompanyReferenceNumber'] . '</td>'; if ($result['NoChargeFile'] = 'N/A') { echo '<td nowrap>' . $result['NoChargeFile'] . '</td>'; } else { echo '<td nowrap>' . $result['TotalFees'] . '</td>'; } echo '<td nowrap>' . $result['DateRecorded'] . '</td>'; echo '<td nowrap>' . $result['DateClosed'] . '</td>'; echo "</tr>"; } while($result = mysql_fetch_array($query)); } // close table> echo "</table><hr>"; ?> I figured it out. i need == not =. I have this array: Code: [Select] Array ( [jan] => 2 [feb] => 1 [mar] => 2 [apr] => 1 ) ..and I want to return: Code: [Select] Array ('jan', 'mar') As in, find the 2 elements with the highest count and put them in an array. What is the simplest way to achieve this? Hello guyz, Well i am storing some files on my server, i want only members to be able to download files. these are what i want to do : I should have an initial URL like this : "http://mysite/file/{file_id}/filename.mov so i will be checking to see if member is logged in, if yes then it should generate a temporary id which will expire within 1 day and start the download automatically! I have coded the user class which checks if its logged in, and i am generating the id, but the problem is how to show the final file url like this : http://mysite/file/{sha1 or something very random}/filename.mov and let it to be downloaded. thanks |
