PHP - Data Object Panel Dreamweaver Cc

Hey all,

I want to have an object that has a property which is an object containing instances of other objects. I try this:

well i have a problem... i have a website running and anyone can get to the admin control panel login page by going to "mywebsite.com/admin" how can i hide this or change it so that they cant get to it unless they know it...?



problem 2... when u visit my website... its shows in the url the path of the file for example... "mywebsite.com/register.php" when on the register page or like "mywebsite.com/sells.php" if on the sells page... how can i hide it so that only my website name is showing and not the path of the file?

Well lately I've decided to split the big script in admin.php(admin control panel file) into several smaller script files such as admin_index.php, admin_settings.php and admin_createuser.php. I was thinking about this idea of locating all menus/submenus to the left hand side of the page and use an iframe to load info from any admin script files. This way the admin can access everything without having to be directed to a different url. I believe this is what Vbulletin has been doing for its ACP(they may have used javascript though), and I have a few questions to ask:

1. Is this a feasible idea, especially if I choose not to use javascript?
2. Is it safe to design admin control panel this way for a PHP script? If not, please lemme know possible security issues?
3. Is it possible to restrict direct access to other admin type script files, but allow access if they are loaded in iframe?

I have a Soup object in a Bowl object in a Microwave object.

The Microwave object has the methods:

receiveItem(Bowl $b)
cookItem(???)

I want the Microwave to be able to set the Soup->temperature but I'm not how to do that?

I created a tabase with two tables.

1) Customers
2) Software

My customers form adds data to the customers table, but on my form I want to assign one or more pieces of software to that particular customer. How do I link up the tables to work that way? My customers table has a unique id.

im finding it hard to link PHP, MySQL and dreamweaver together.

when php document is alaunched within the localhost all the data in the database is present how ever

when the php coding is entered into the html file via dreamweaver no data is present which i think connection to the mysql database cannot be establish

why is this can someone help me please, the php document is attached with all the coding

My learning curve to this point in using php with MySql databases is automatically generated code within Dreamweaver. However, I am sure that it is adding a lot more code than I actually need and I sometimes have 5 or more queries all on one page that are just all the same except that each one has a different ID to reference.
Presumably the best way to do this would be with one query with grouping but as that is still on my list of things to understand I am hoping to tidy things up myself first.

The only difference in the two queries are the query names and the WHERE players.position = 'XX'

The way that I see it is that everything below

$currentPage = $_SERVER["PHP_SELF"];is unique to each query but everything above is replicated.

Would it work to have all of it between one set of PHP tags with the duplicated code there just once? If so would it simply mean copying everything below '$currentPage = $_SERVER["PHP_SELF"];' in the second query and pasting it just before the '?>' in the first.
Also, if anyone is an expert with grouping, I would be more than open to suggestions about setting the page up that way. My head says that it would need a repeat region inside a repeat region to get the data separated the way I want it but my head doesn't often make sense!

Im using dreamweaver, and I have a simple list menu that is linked to a dynamic source in my database. I cannot figure out how to create an action when they select something from the list menu. I suppose that it would have to be passed through the browser somehow. Im not very code fluent, but I try. If you know to accomplish this using dreamweaver cs4 or hard coding, I would appreciate it.

I want this: When you click on an item it will bring up all the data pertaining to that particular record.

I am building a website that allows a client to email me documents (DocX, PDF, TXT,ZIP, etc) along with a simple HTML based form.

I used DreamWeaver to create the form and the upload area.  I figured out how to script the PHP code to send the text fields to my email address (and validate them), but I can't figure out how to get the attachments to send.

I am BRAND NEW to PHP and just trying to figure all thing out.  Any help would be appreciated. 

I have attached two .txt files to this post.  One is the HTML code for the forum and one is the actual PHP code I am using to send the form to my email.

  I’m trying to write a post-panel where the user can see the preview of his post to the right of the
text area he’s writing into.
  I tried the following into a file called writepost.php :

There are several things wrong with this code :

  1) When the user hits the "Preview" button, I expect writepost.php to be reloaded (this is what happens), and the current content of the textarea to be stored in $_GET['message'] (this is not what happens).

  2) Why does my browser output the preview part under the text area (or in other words outputs the HTML table as a single column of two cells), when I insist in my HTML code for the table to be displayed  as a single row ?
