PHP - Need Help Dissecting And Storing Email Components (headers, Addresses, Body, Etc.)

I'm trying to make a script that will search the source code of a given url and strip every email address that pops up.

I already have a script that will crawl around, jumping from webpage to webpage... i just need to figure out how to strip the contents... any suggestions?

Very new to PHP and databases, so please go easy on me!

I have a series on web pages each containing a link that says 'apply here'. What I am trying to achieve is when any of these links are clicked on the user is taken to a php form page where they are asked for a series of further information such as name, telephone number etc. When they click submit this information then gets sent off to a speciifc email address.

My problem is that depending on which page the user has originally come from (the page where they clicked on the apply here link) needs to determine what email address the form information gets sent to.

I thought that the best way to achieve this would be to create a database that contains all of the email addresses (as eventually there will be alot of them) and the form page could call in the relevant email somehow... although I am totally confused on how to go about doing this.

they can tell when you enter an email address that hasnt been registered yet. how the hell are they doing this? does gmail or  yahoo have some sort of database they allow access to for this?

Apologies as this may seem like a trival matter, but im new to coding and just need a bit of help....

I have a form which includes a drop down menu of various departments. Depending on which department is chosen, the form is then sent to different people.

This is the html code for the drop down:

So for example the first option mails out to mrjones@email.com mrsmith@email.com and the second would go to mrbloggs@emai.com mr@black@email.com and mrwhite@email.com etc...

I have a separate php file which gathers the variables so i was thinking an if statement would need to be put into this page?

Out of interest i tried something myself and sort of got a result im after:

Then i used $email_to = $_POST['department']; in the php file.

But i would like to be able to send to 2 or 3 people so tried:

I have recently created a small snippet of php code for posting mail and it's sweet apart from 1 thing.

I have two email addresses in the recipient section. It only sends to the last name in the list.

Is this because i have written recipient? Should it be recipients?

I need this mail to be delivered to both of the email addresses.

I'm sure it's simple for someone with expert knowledge.

Hi, I got this script which I would like to send a message to all email addresses in the database or send to approved members only. Once I got the first part of this script working I can get the rest to work when sending to approved members.

Hello, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have two dropdowns with 2 options in each. Customer picks one option from each dropdown and the form gets emailed to addresses from the two selections. The code below gives and error.

I have an email generated from PHP but it's getting placed in gmails spam folder.  Any idea how to get rid of my old domain from being displayed?  Is this something I do in php or in ubuntu command line?  If I have to change something in ubuntu, how do I edit the olddomainname.

I have a php email form and in the headers, I just want to add a 2nd email that the form will send to.  I can only get the form to be sent to the first email?  This is the code I currently have:

Hello all,
I have a script I have been working on that retrieves my email from my mail server using some of the imap_functions. Everything works fine except for the emails that were sent from my blackberry. I have done some research and it seem to be something to do with the encoding that the blackberry uses. I have found a little bit of code that I was hoping would solve the issue.

My goal is to get the body content from email that was produced with my blackberry and put bits of this body into a database. Then I want to do a report from that database once a week.

I have developed a script that will retrieve all other message except from my blackberry. Does anyone know how blackberry encodes their body content?

I ran across a dynamic cookie that needs to be passed on the Sears website (I have to scrape the hardware for a client).  The cookie sample is: 132358103124371640736644174.  Now I've figured out the first 10 digits are generated with date("U"), but I'm having trouble dissecting the rest.  I've looked at common time strings with no luck.  The cookie is always within 1 or 2 characters of each other when refreshing.  I also know the server is on the west coast.

Any thoughts?

 I wanted to know is there any class or functions which will parse the mail body and find all the features like how many sentences, how many stop words, how many paragraphs, how many punctuation chars, etc. I haven't find anything good in my searching so far. I have parsed the whole body of email and separated the headers and body in variables. Now I want to perform these operations in only in the body.
