PHP - Html Layout For Php Form
Hi
I've inherited a form that sends the basic text email for output. I want to style this with html so the output forms into two columns in a table. I can see how others have incorporated html into their php script, but can't work out how to do it for the coded forms I have. See code below.

I'm trying to submit html/php code through an html form and then insert it into a mysql database. I've got the following code so far (without the insert into database query), however when I submit the form I get pushed through to my 403 page. When submitted, these forms pump data into a database. Is there any way of carrying through the carriage returns with the form? So that when it is displayed back on the page, it looks exactly how it was entered. Anyway my most current problem is i have an if statement that hides the "Register" button if the user is logged in and Shows a welcome message and the users name if the user is logged in. However i would like to make the log in form disappear if the user is logged in. I know that by putting the form code in the else part of my if statement it will disappear if the user is logged in however when i do this it stops my whole website working. I have everything working, except for a HTML editor, as I need the user to be able to create the pages in the same sort of way you make the description for an ebay listing. A week ago i thought i saw something about another way to display a form in the php manual but cant find it anymore. so im wondering is there another way to echo a form with out echoing every html line. Basically atm I am trying to accomplish a way to $_POST a selection from my dropdown box in to a PHP variable for use elsewhere. The eventual goal being a form that will allow you to select a user from the dropdown box; then via a HTML form with some additional text fields, add/update database table records for that person. I have been searching and searching, and I cant find anything that addresses using a dropdown box that pulls names from my SQL in a html web form. All I can find are tons of guides on simple html only forms. At the moment, the dropdown box is working, It is pulling names from my database/table. But when I select a name from the list and then click on my submit button the $_POST does not seem to be pulling the value for "username". I am trying to create a form that will be store in-house. This form needs to have a drop-down of keywords. These keywords will cause a snippet of code (pulled from the selection of the keyword) to be placed into a text document one after another. Ex.: I click on "Header" in the list and click Insert Code.
