I have a navigation bar that allows the user to change its color. When the color is changed it fades from one color to another. I am trying to make the background do the same. It currently changes color but doesn't have the same fade effect. Navigation Bar:

What can I do to make them both fade?

Jquery Fade Out Individual Letters

I forgot my password for my old account so had to create a new one. New laptop. Anyway, I've searched and searched but can't find a jQuery, javascript or anything else to do what I want to do. I want to fade out all the different paragraphs of a div one letter at a time starting with the first. Here is something CLOSE though the string has to be input. I'm pulling data in from a database with PHP. So not sure if I can target individual letters in different paragraphs.

I know I can get my target from a div then split it into characters with something like this:

Where my div as a class of sample-text. (These are just code snippets I have pulled from the net in my search for an answer). But using the fade in which nice in jsfiddle, How can I put all these together to fade out my text a single letter at a time? I'm not sure if different paragraphs will work or not or if I'm going to have to have one long paragraph (bad for my application). Thanks for the help here guys. You've always come through for me before. It's just been awhile since I've been stumped.

Hello everyone!

I need a little help to get functions names from the GD library.
first i want to say i have a little knowledge with GD library like create image with words and etc.

So , what i'm trying to do is to take image and than
take the color of the first pixel on the top left than do some function work and than
set this pixel on the top left to another color.

now , i know how the algorithm should look like , i just don't know what function i need to use to:
take specific pixel color from the image
set new color for pixel on specific place

Php/jquery Auto-refresh: Only Fade-in New Rows In Database Since Last Refresh

I'm running a script using jQuery that auto-refreshes a <div> on the index page from an external PHP script to get all the rows in a database and display them on the index page. The script works great - here it is as follows:

This script works great as well.

Currently, the auto-refresh jQuery script as you can see if getting and fading in/out all of the rows.

Off of the above getrows.php script, is there a way after I could get only the newly created rows since the last refresh and only fade those in and out while leaving the others already loaded by the auto-refresh script to not fade in/out?

Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions would be unbelievably helpful.

Hi, I'm having the following problem. I want to change the row color depending on the value of a record. i made three different td class in the style. Imageconvolution: Auto Color

I wrote a script in ActionScript that takes an image and does color correction, giving me the same results as photoshop's "Auto Color" feature.

The actionscript uses an image matrix that looks like this:

This is different from the php GD's matrix imageconvolution(), which is only 3x3 where the actionscript one is 5x4. I think this is why I am getting different image results.

Any suggestions to get the two to act the same? I am stumped...

I have a system on my forum where the admin can change the colors of certain elements. Take the divs with and id of header for example. They can change the color of these and the value is added to the database. Then in my initialize file which is always called with every page, i set the color for the headers to the database value:

$color['headers'] = $row['headers'];

but then i have to go to every header div and add

<div id="header" style="color:'.$color['headers'].'";>

this means doing this for every header div and i dont just allow them to change the font color, but also background color and borders.
Would there be a better way of doing this without adding these variables to the style attr of the element? when i view the code in firebug there are alot of style attr with all of these variables and it makes the code look a mess, and also makes it tedious work to add these variables to every element.

How could I set the class to the page number - So for example if page 1 then background is blue, if its 5 then its green etc...

I want to set up the css but I need to assign the class to the page number.... (Or parent page number if the page number is not top level..)
