PHP - Include Doesn't Work In Php5
Been using these includes in php4 for a long time, but they don't work in php5. Page loads, but included code is blank. I've previously worked with HTML 4.01 Transitional and it worked. I have a small php upload/download script, it always worked on older php4 -5 but not on php5.3 ,gobal varitables must be on , I dont know to much about php and was hoping someone will look at at and let me know what to change to make it work on php5.3 or higher..............................THANKS! for any help in fixing this issue

very simple I have issolated it and it doesn't redirect maybe u can see where my mistake is
The PHP code sends me an email from the server, but the user input is empty or "blank". I only receive: "From: \ Email: \ Subject: \ Message: " and that's it. How do I fix my PHP and/or HTML code to receive user input from the form? Attached is my existing HTML and PHP code that doesn't send me any "user input" from the form. I am incorporating a very basic 'include' statement on a new site. One 'include' calls up menu.php and the second calls up article.php. Both of these files are located in the same file folder as all the pages for this site.
On the index.php page, everything works as expected and both files are showing like they are suppose to. However, the article.php file is not showing up on subsequent pages while the menu.php seems to work fine.
Now I am a complete moron when it comes to php so I have no clue what the problem is or how to fix it so I would really appreciate any help I can get to fix this.

Hello all, I'm trying to clean up some user input for my database but the mysql_real_escape_string function doesn't seem to work, and neither does addslashes(). I've browsed the net and made sure I'm connected to the database before the function is called. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. The database entry is correct, except, when I check the database or echo the result I get the same thing that was entered into 'commentbox'. For instance, if I enter "I am very 'confused' by this" into the box, the same string will be found in the database table. No slashes, just quotes. Anyone have an idea what's wrong with this? Because it all seems simple and correct but doesn't work. |
