PHP - Save A Json Object Into A Variable

Server returns a json object and i want to save it in aR variable.
But console.log($aR); returns undefined

What I want to do: use proxy to bypass same origin policy and to save these values (that changes and need to be checked by timer) into variables that can be modified.
A server contains data.asp which looks something like this and updates from time to time (although with a bit more data):

So what I want to do is store the data into variables that I can alter, not show it inside a div using innerHTML. Preferably check this ever so often for changes as well.
Suggestions?
I can add that I have the permission from the server owner to retrieve the information and to use it but no possibility to add script to their server, hence the proxy bypass attempt.
I have a submit.php file that includes the following jQuery code:

I need to remove

and pass the "json.html" value into a PHP variable in another php file (functions.php). The code in the functions.php file is already there. The thing i need to do (and i am seriously struggling with it) is placing the value of json.html into a $phpvariable that i can then call from the function.php file. I've tried to find a way to convert this data into readable format, ideally in a HTML table, but although there are articles on converting manually inputted JSON data into a HTML table using Javascript, I can't find a way to do it from a PHP variable. So I need a way to get the data held in $result, into a HTML table. Any idea how I can do this? Is it good practice to put an oop object in session variable Can someone explain to me how this is done? I know how to use $$ and ${} to use variable variables, but how would I get the same functionality out of a variable that is storing an object name? I have a function that is passed the name of an array of objects. As you can guess, that name will change based on which portion of the program is calling the function. How would I use variable variables of objects in this instance? Would it just be: Code: [Select] $this->${$objArrayName}->threadName = etc; ? To make sure I'm not being misunderstood, I have 3 arrays of objects (replies, mainThreads, and stickies) and depending on which name I pass the function, I want it to use $this->replies OR $this->mainThreads OR $this->stickies to apply properties of those objects to.
