Hi I have a following code, validation part and jquery works perfectly in the code but it dosent send the email

I need your help as many PHPers here is more experienced in PHP coding than me. I have specific project I am working on and need a piece of code that can send an email from HTML form using PHP to the email address that is entered manually on the form, instead of standard sent to PHP code that is fixed within PHP script and executed during submission. I want sth that can grab manually enetered recipient's e-mail address, paste it to the PHP code and then use it to send the email to the recipient, instead of fixed sent to code. Something would say dynamically changed during the entry that can inject into PHP code the new address email entered on the form and then submit to it. Any ideas will be great.

The code below currently sends a separate Email with data from each row of a table when a Save All button is pressed. So, if I have 4 rows of data, 4 Email will be sent.

Yes, this is part of a Wordpress plugin. It's a small part of a large plugin that I have a LOT of time investing in setting up, so I can't just look for an alternate plugin. I really need to get this one to work.

"\r\n"; My problem is I can see in my email that the sender name has been included with (unknown sender) while the email address are display as empty address. Wut's happening forum So everytime I send an email using mail ( ) like this: $to = "$email"; $subject = "Mailing List Confirmation"; $headers = "From: blah blah blah"; $body = "Hello, $fname Thank you for your subscription to this update mailing list. Once an entry related to $query is updated, an email notification would be sent to you promptly. Regards, Blah blah blah."; mail($to, $subject, $body, $headers); I mean it works perfectly, but there's always a messsage saying "this email is suspicious" or some sort when I use hotmail but when i use gmail, no such warning appears. Still i would like to send a "non-suspicious" email in case some users r using hotmail. Is there anyway i can fix up this code to enhance its security level? thanks Im still trying to work this one out but what i would like to do is send an email if an alert is present. but not resend the email on every page refresh where the alert is still present. so i was thinking of using something like $_SESSION['sent_time'] to record when the last email was sent and only send another email if the current time is greater than 10 mins from the $_SESSION['sent_time']. Hi, Im getting better at this php lark! ok so now I have a signup website page, all details get added to the database including an email address, all works fine. now I would like a page, with a simple text box, that when you hit submit, it send the contents of the text box to all email address` in the members table, a really really simple newsletter so to speak. Its purely for my learning curve and Ill set up recapacha on it anyway. but Im getting a bit lost in the code, could someone guide me please? I can grab the contents of the text box like this: $letter = $_POST['letter]; but how do I send to all recipients? $recipient = ("SELECT email FROM members"); thanks I am creating a Registration form and want to have a command button in the middle of the form that, when clicked, will send the user an email with an activation code. How can I do that? When the user clicks the button, I would like it to fire off an email, however I do not want the user to be taken off of the form or to lose anything the entered. I suppose you would normally do this with JavaScript, but since I don't know that, I am looking for a PHP solution for now. Thanks. |
