PHP - Paypal Recurring Payment Pending Status?

Hi there.

This forum has been great so far. I got couple of questions answered here.

Now I am working on a PHP web form where Suppliers list their products for customers to buy.

A customer can buy Product 1 from Supplier A and Product 2 from Supplier B and when the customer checks out through Paypal, the payment for Product 1 should go to Suppplier A and similarly the payment for Product 2 should go the Supplier B's email ID.

I thinks its straight forward and How can we do that? Can you please guide me in the right direction.

  What I am after to do, is to after a successful Paypal payment from paypal, generate a link in a wordpress site (or external even) that will expire after 3 days to a video.

I was wondering if there was any way in which I could create a link which would direct to a paypal payment page and the amount to be paid could be specifed in the URL (GET method) as I have multiple products at differnt prices and would like to redirect the user to a page with a price I specify to be paid.
 
Anyone have ideas?

So let's say if contact_name wants to add member_name as a friend, how would i make it say user is already pending? what variables to check? or should i make friends table and a friends_pending table?

Hi guys,

long-time reader here and finally have my own question.
I have a MySql db from which I get a CSV file that I need in XML.

The problem is, the parent nodes appear multiple times in the CSV and so do other values.

Let me give you a quick overview of what the data I have looks like, and the XML of what I need to achieve as output.

Now I know it looks kinda complicated because the context isn't immediately obvious, but if it wasn't, I wouldn't be posting here 

I started using file() to get each line into an array and then used explode() in a loop to generate new arrays.
The only thing where I am struggling is going back and adding cities to countries but not duplicating them. If a city (or country) already exists, then I should just add to the parent node.

Not sure if anyone even understands this as, reading over it again, not even I do but if you have any questions that may clarify the issue, let me know. I'm probably just looking for a way to create a multidimensional arrays, using the parent node as an index or something like that.

Im creating a site that is based on a subscription basis. Therefore i need to allow the user to input their card details for me to store to allow payments every month (and also for them to update when needed).

How do you recommend storing card details in the database, im guessing its not secure just to store them as plain text?

Opinions needed

if the date of selling goods " $date = "2011/06/05"; and if we have payment after of $days = "15"; - (15 days), how to calculate when the last day for payment?

Within my experience of PHP, I have never had anything to do with making secure payments before. And this is a problem I can't seem to get around. I want to let people purchase a premium version of a game, and it will add their name to a PHP file or databse after they are redirected from PayPal to a special page that adds their username to the PHP file after typing it in.

How would one make sure they don't just go to the webpage VIA the URL, and that they only came from the PHP redirect after purchase?

Hi guys, i'm in a dead end with this. I'm more a design guy and i'm trying to implement these 2 payment gateways on a website i'm launching soon but don't know how to do it. I have the php sample files from bitpay and the other payment gateway (offline atm payments). I can implement a button for the payment but the php needed to receive payment notification, ipn or callback, and update user balance in the database it's way out of my knowlegde. Can someone give me a hand in implementing this? I have paypal runing but i'd like to have these other two options.

I am building program to manage payment/monthly payments. I've ran into an issue that I haven't been able to overcome and need some help. I've been lurking for a while and decided it was time to ask you guys...Here's the issue:

I have a table 'payments' that contains scheduled payments that looks like:

What I need to do that I haven't figured out is to adjust the expected amount according to the payment, update the status to N (not pending) without affecting the later expected payments.

For example:
they make a payment of $257.50, applies that to row 367, sets the status to N, but leaves the other status' to Y (for obvious reasons). the make a payment of $250.00, leaving the balance at $7.50, so lets add $7.50 to row 368, mark 367 status to N the make a payment of $300.00, leaving the expected balance at $0.00 for row 367, but adjust the balance for row 368 to $215.00
Any ideas?

Okay I now have a working extract ZIP archive script.
What I am now looking to do is have a loop which checks the percentage complete the extraction is and at 100% (with no erros) carry out a PHP function.

Hello,

I have a webpage that runs some php code to control electrical devices. One part of it controls outside lights. Another part controls an electric door striker. I keep expanding the functionality of it and need to change one pin of the port without affecting the others. So far I use a different port for each function but I am out of ports so I need to use the different pins of the parallel port.

I am using a linux ubuntu server.
From my php webpage I issue this command: <?php exec("/home/setSerialSignal /dev/ttyS0 0 0"); ?> which controls the lights using the serial port. I can control 2 pins but I can't check the status of them so if I make a change to one pin it cancels the other.

For another one I use the parallel port with this command: <?php exec("/home/parashell 0x378 1"); ?> which turns on pin #2 of the parallel port.

Parashell has an executable called "pin". If you type the command "pin 0x378" it will return a value for the status of the parallel port. "1" for example which tells me that pin #2 is on. Is there a way to pass this value to a php variable?

I am looking to be able to read the status of the port and make changes to just the pin I want.

Lets say pin #2 is on and I want to turn pin #3 on. I would have to issue <?php exec("/home/parashell 0x378 2"); ?> to turn pin #3 on, but that would turn off pin #2. If I could pass the "1" from the "pin" command I could add it to the "2" and give it the command with a variable as "3".

Problem:

I'm trying to make it so the array responds to the integer of status in the database. So, to check if it's one, I try this:

But, on my result, I'm just getting WWTT - And the value in the database for the ticket is 0. I'm not sure if I'm using the array correctly.
