PHP - After A Debian Upgrade My Php Doesn't Seem To Work :s

I think debian upgraded from php 7.3 or 4 to 8.0 I am wondering if I am missing some php packages if run php -v at terminal I get php -v

Similar TutorialsI've been out of coding for about 4 years. My client called and said that they upgraded his server and now nothing works. I've don't done some reading and see that there are changes to queries. I originally wrote the program using mysql_query which is now deprecated replaced with MySQLi and PDO_MySQL which I thought would be that simple. Apparently not. My code is below. The error I get is Fatal error: Call to undefined function MySQLi() in /home1/zipclick/public_html/marketingteamates.com/_ZABP_merchants/main-w.php on line 304 which leads me to believe that the upgrade is now solely object oriented.

I've installed a Debian x64 minimal package and a control panel on my VPS, but after I install the name servers, the domain doesn't reach my VPS's name servers for some reason.
The minimal package comes only with the tools to run the Debian server which means it had no sudo and such.
But previously when I had Centos on before switching to Debian, it did reach the name servers.
Which in this case I suspect that it's a server-side problem, could there be any ?
When I try to connect to the domain it says that the website is not available.
I am using zpanel and the default DNS records that the zpanel generates.
P.S. I tried to find the reason why it doesn't work but I couldn't find any solution, all I found is suggestions to add www A record which also didn't work.
And yes, I did wait 24 hours and even more.

I've got this mess of a page I'm trying to manipulate to add a feature to. When somebody goes to this page, it pulls all records. At the top, I added a way to refine the results by dates. That query works fine, I tested it in mysql. To avoid fighting with the original code, I created an if statement to create $query_selectAll. But when I put it in the page, it would just refresh with the same data. I echoed the query to make sure it is correct. Then I realized that there was another query, $query_selectAllItems, further down the page that was generating the results, and none of what I was doing made a difference. When a visitor lands on the page, it counts their impression and then sets a $_SESSION so that if they reload or return to the page it doesn't count it again. But the problem is it sometimes does.
