PHP - Post And Get Not Working
Hello, I have this PHP and HTML code and i recently figured out, it doesn't even enter the PHP function to execute and i have no idea whats wrong

I want the results to be displayed on my site but I discover that iframe height is a problem so I am trying PHP in a separate file to avoid an iframe. Then maybe I can cache the result pages and display them without any height difficulties and not having to fiddle with javascript. The value of the grand total is inside a hidden field. When click on submit, the _POST array doesn't get back the last value of the grand total. I need to hit the button twice to get the last value. The weird thing is when I echo the value of the grand total it display the latest value, but not with the POST array
For example. If the grand total is $10.00 and I click on submit. It will show the POST['grand_total'] as empty. If I click on submit again it will show the grand total of $10.00.

I'm learning PHP, and in the course of this, I'm writing a little app which posts to the same php file. HOWEVER, when I run the app again, the POST values remain. I can use unset() but, is there another way to clear POST data? I need bit of help, so I am looking into a plugin created for newsletter where default is it shows ad but it has option to remove ads by checking the check box. When I echo the POST, it echoes the correct value. The MySQL portion seems to just ignore it all together. I've tried changing the dropdown option to just a text field, same thing occurred. I have text fields right above this particular one that update just fine with the SAME exactly scripting. if POST, update query, done. Works. This one for some reason will not. I have following written in .htaccess file Options FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^([a-z0-9-]+)$ displaypage.php?page=$1 [NC,L] I have following written in displaypage.php echo $_GET["page"]; Now when I run http://localhost/ then it shows index.php page which is correct. If I run http://localhost/something then it shows a blank page. Previously it used to display that "page" variable on screen. mod_rewrite is enabled and I am using Windows with XAMPP.
