PHP - How To Auto Populate Custom Field With Current User Role
I am trying to populate a custom field called "Customer Type" current user role. The custom field is displayed on my checkout page. I tried the below in my functions.php of my child theme and thought it would work but it does nothing. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?

I want to be able to take Form1.callsign once submitted, redirect and insert it into Form2.callsign Is this possible? I got the Redirect to work no problem after the data is inserted. I have been looking on Web and here and cant seem to find the answer to populate form2 from form1 field. Can I use a Variable somehow? I know there is an issue with submitting data to a 3rd party for security reasons etc, but I want when entering records on my own domain to autopopulate the next form with this callsign (which is the primary key) This way I get to link all 10 tables together using this key making the entire full record for the member. I'm building an intranet and have three seperate user roles, user - manager - admin. There are some menu items I don't want to allow simple users to see. This will expand later to give them different views of a page as well (some can view/others can edit). As it stands the login validation is holding they're user level in $SESSION. I am working on a site Wordpress site where I have used a plugin to create some custom fields that appear when a user is creating a new page. The code below is a snipet from the template that calls those custom fields and places the user input into the proper sections of the page.
The first line is working perfectly, the second piece of code is where my error is coming from. The code in bold is the call to the user input url. I need this to be input into the button shortcode. I am not very experienced with php, so I am hoping that I have just made a simple syntax error.

Hi Good day Can someone pls help me regarding with this matter. I have a page for inserting records. And I have a combobox that is fetched through the specific field in database. I also have a table of records, for each row i have an href edit which throws the values to its respective texbox and combobox. THE PROBLEM is that when i click the href edit, the value from a selected row was not displayed from the combobox Following from my previous post, i have a questionnaire and within each question it has the options to pick from raddio button (strongly agree, agree, disagree, N/A). For each value of each question i want to pass it into the relevant Field in my database but rather than overwriting the current value i want to be added on to it. (For example if the current value is 2, once the new value (1) has added it will make the new value of 3.). Hello everyone.

After successfulIy filling the form, I refer him to the "dashboard" page. In this page, i am having trouble to get his details from the database. How should I recognize him as the user that just registered?

How do I get the current logged in username or id using the Twitter API? I have a page site.com/register/signup.php I want to echo out the current directory: register. When I use getcwd() I get: /home/user1234/public_html/register instead of: register or if I am inside this directory site.com/register/image/ then I want to echo out: register/image I have also tried the server[self] command but that too gives you the full directory. Does anyone know how to echo out only the current directory starting AFTER the public_html? Hey all.. I'm trying to pick up PHP by reading ebooks and follow tutorials. I am now busy with creating a thumbnailgallery from uploaded pics per user. I want to let the visitor scroll through a row of thumbnails by clicking next or previous. There are 3 different rows of thumbnails. Here's how it looks like: <<previous (row1 of 6thumbnails) next>> <<previous (row2 of 6thumbnails) next>> <<previous (row3..... ) next>> when page loads mysql fetches rows of information for the filenames...then there is a foreach row loop that does first a do ..while loop to build up the thumbnailrows...and then creates the navigation links previous and next who send the "page"+1 or "page"-1 to _GET array so that the thumbnail 7 until 12 will be shown. The problem i run into is that i want the main code page to remember at which "page" of scrolling through the thumnails he is. Now it is that when a user scrolls one row of thumbnails and stops at the 3rd "page" of it and then clicks on a different row to go to "page" 2 of that row that all the rows jump together back to "page" 1. I thought there may be a solution in storing the number of row and the number of page into an array but can't seem to find a solution.... Has anybody got experience in this? Help would be very welcome i'm totally stuck and cant read about it in tutorials/ebooks.... greets from holland.. GJ |
