PHP - Question Regarding Arrays
Hi All,
I have a question regarding arrays I get a data from a field in Oracle DB into a variable: This is the procedure i run: $Param_String=DBOracle::getInstance()->get_job_params($seq); and this is what $Param_string stores after: (string) "Id"=>"1" Then I run this command $parameters=array($Param_String); Now, $Parameters is like this:
array(1) ( If i write the code that way: $id='"1"'; $parameters=array("id" => $id); Then, $Parameters is like this:
array(1) ( My problem: I want $Parameters to be like the last option when I get the data from the database. The string in the DB (like "Id"=>"1") can be list of such pairs seperated by comma (,). for example ("Id"=>"1", "param2"=>"test_val", "param3"=>"test_val2"...) How can I do that?

I have a table i populate from database (upon a parameter the user insert and with PHP $_GET i take this value and populate the table accordint to if). After I allow the user to add or edit data in rows by using jquery. The last part I do is to want to save the changes back to database using PHP. The jquery i use suppose to serve different tables. So its written in a way that get the table structure and add rows upon it. In this example I put it in the index page Everything works fine,but I cant build the array from the added rows. My variables in the php part got null values (although in debug mode I see that $_POST... store data in the array What do I miss here? When I see this: $_SESSION['cart'][$id] I see an array that holds two indexes, each index containing an associative array: [[array() => ''], [1 => '']]. So at index 0 of $_SESSION is [array() => '']. As you can see in that foreach method, it says that $id (and its corresponding value) is an associative array of $cart array, not $_SESSION array. I don't see how that happened. How does it dynamically resize arrays? I am trying to learn about sorting and modifying arrays and I am practicing on a book assignment but need some help to grasp what I need to do. So then I added a comma between the 3 arrays So the code will look like this when they select the balls they want Code: [Select] 1|20|30,20|10|5 /etc /etc But now I have 1 problem. How do I go about validating the arrays for each COMMA inside the | ARRAY? Cause let's saY I don't want anyone to Submit a ball number higher then "36" how would I go about making it so it checks through each array and if it's higher then 32 I can give them a Error?
