PHP - Embedded Audio File Always Plays On Load - Even With Autoplay Off
Hi, i have the following code: where i want the sound to only play during the false part of the IF statement but currently it always plays on every reload, and even if the IF = true any ideas? ive tried autoplay="0" also
Thanks
<embed src="beep.wav" autostart="false" width="0" height="0" id="sound1" enablejavascript="true"> + <script> function PlaySound(soundObj) { var sound = document.getElementById(soundObj); sound.Play(); } </script> + if( isset( $json['Data'] ) ){ echo "<b>Success</b>"; echo "</br>"; echo $data.' x ' .$tqty; echo "</br>"; } else { echo "Error"; echo "</br>"; echo $json['Message']; echo '<script> PlaySound("Sound1"); </script>'; }
Similar TutorialsHello,
I have been looking for a way to track the play stats on audio mp3's in the admin of my custom post-type. Whatever I google seems to come up with nothing. I not very versed in audio player code - could someone please point me in the right direction.
Again:
I have a custom post-type which uses the wordpress default audio.
I would like to get the number of plays for each audio file and display that in the admin column for my custom post-type
Thanks,

Hello i need help, I am creating a small social networking website in which i want dat a user can upload music files as well with some descriptions ,the description and file path should be stored in database and the mp3 file should be stored in a seprate folder i want a PHP script for this. If any one knows it then please help me. I really like how Blob and Long blob handle pictures so I decided to try it with audio...I can get the file to upload fine but my problem using the file once its in the database... This is kind of what I am doing. This is my file called get_audio.php: Code: [Select] <?php mysql_connect("localhost","root","") or die(mysql_error()); mysql_select_db("my_db") or die(mysql_error()); $id = addslashes($_REQUEST['id']); $audio = mysql_query("SELECT* FROM wineAudio_tbl WHERE audio_id=$id"); $audio = mysql_fetch_assoc($audio); $audio = $audio['audioFile']; header("Content-type: audio/mp3"); echo $audio; ?> When I want to use the audio I would just have a link something like this: Code: [Select] <a href="get_audio.php?id=12" target="_blank">Play Audio</a> When you click on the "Play Audio" button it opens a browser mp3 player, but does not start the file.. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong ? Hi, I want to force download an asf (audio) file, i have found a script, but it is not for asf but pdf, i was searching for mime types, but not sure what asf classifies? <?php // your file to upload $file = '2007_SalaryReport.pdf'; header("Expires: 0"); header("Last-Modified: " . gmdate("D, d M Y H:i:s") . " GMT"); header("Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate"); header("Cache-Control: post-check=0, pre-check=0", false); header("Pragma: no-cache"); header("Content-type: application/pdf"); // tell file size header('Content-length: '.filesize($file)); // set file name header('Content-disposition: attachment; filename='.basename($file)); readfile($file); // Exit script. So that no useless data is output-ed. exit; ?> i found this page http://www.utoronto.ca/web/htmldocs/book/book-3ed/appb/mimetype.html#audi so sould it be audio/x-wav? Thanks, Ted Hi,
I am trying to build an webapp (PHP script) to display a waveform of my audio (mp3/wav) file same as VocalPitchMonitor app spmething like this This script gets input file from user and then it shows the waveform with notations(music), which has defined and stored in database. I tried https://github.com/boyhagemann/Wave and https://github.com/afreiday/php-waveform-png. with some customized settings. But it generates a wave like this
Is there any script similar to this? or how can i do this? Please suggest I found the following forum topic and have implemented the solution provided at the bottom: http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=310258.0 Code: [Select] <?php $cnx = fopen("data/Book1.csv", "r"); //open example.csv echo("<table>\n\t<tbody>\n"); // echo the table while (!feof ($cnx)) { // while not end of file $buffer = fgets($cnx); // get contents of file (name) as variable $values = explode(",", $buffer); //explode "," between the values within the contents echo "\t\t<tr>\n"; for ( $j = 0; $j < count($values); $j++ ) { // echo("\t\t\t<td>$values[$j]</td>\n"); } echo"\t\t</tr>\n"; }; echo("\t</tbody>\n</table>"); fclose($cnx); //close filename variable ?> It works great. One question though - - what might it take to add an if/else statement that inserted the following for the first row in the CSV file ... Code: [Select] echo("\t\t\t<th>$values[$j]</th>\n"); ... and inserted the following for every row after the first ... Code: [Select] echo("\t\t\t<td>$values[$j]</td>\n"); This way I can better control my table through CSS. Any ideas? Hey all, So I have .caf files that are recorded from my iOS applications and uploaded to my server. Ultimately I want to play these recordings within my website using jPlayer (a jQuery plugin: http://www.jplayer.org), which means they need to be converted from the .caf format. The encoding cannot be done on the mobile device, or so I am told, being that it is too processor intensive. This leaves the webserver... So far I've had very little luck finding any way to convert the file using PHP. I assumed that it would be easy enough to use something like LAME to encode the caf into a mp3. I've seen a few cryptic references to doing exactly this in my google searches, but no definitive information. Can anybody shed some light on the situation? Thanks. PHP = 5.5.14
MySQL = 5.2.17
This simple .php script works as a standalone OK:
<?php require '<snip partial URL>mysqli.php'; // Check connection if (mysqli_connect_errno()) { echo "Failed to connect to MySQL: " . mysqli_connect_error(); } $result = mysqli_query($con,"SELECT `callsign`, `qth`, `submitted` FROM `lqplogs` ORDER BY `callsign`"); echo "<table> <tr> <th><u>CALLSIGN</u></th><th><u>QTH</u></th><th><u>LOG SUBMITTED</u></th> </tr>"; while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)) { echo "<tr>"; echo "<td>" . $row['callsign'] . "</td>"; echo "<td>" . $row['qth'] . "</td>"; echo "<td>" . $row['submitted'] . "</td>"; echo "</tr>"; } echo "</table>"; mysqli_close($con); ?>A separate .html page with other info works by itself OK too, but when I try to embed the PHP script (with PHP start & end tags, of course) *between* these HTML tags: <table> <tr> <td> ... Full PHP Script Embedded here... </td> </tr> </table> I get this mess: "; while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)) { echo ""; echo ""; echo ""; echo ""; echo ""; } echo " CALLSIGN QTH LOG SUBMITTED " . $row['callsign'] . " " . $row['qth'] . " " . $row['submitted'] . " "; mysqli_close($con); ?>Any thoughts as to why are appreciated. Thanks! - FreakingOUT Hi. So I've coded many a file upload form and never had any trouble. Until now. For some reason when I try to upload MP3 files, I'll hit submit and the page just reloads. Once it does so, the file upload field is once again blank. What's odd is that images and documents upload just fine. It's only audio tracks that cause the page to reload and clear. My php.ini max file upload size is at this point set to 100M, and the files I'm trying to upload are under 10M. Any ideas? Here's the form code, just to post it-- pretty basic. I'm at a loss here.... Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks very much. <form action="test.php" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="POST"/> <input type = "file" name = "audio" /> <p><input type ="submit" name="submit" value="do it."/><p> </form> I have some FLV files above web root. I want to feed my flv player a php file and an ID. I need that php file to return an flv file basically. So if someone has firebug or something they wont see a video path, but instead see something like: fileserve.php?id=4679 I dont care if a logged in user go directly to that link and it prompts them with a download or whatever. I just want to avoid having a non logged in user do that. This topic has been moved to Other. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=348135.0 What is the best way to load a .jsp file on an external sever? Hello,
I'm creating a website that takes flickr photos from areas that you click on the map and loads them into a jquery carousel called Slick Carousel. Everything works fine except for I have this strange issue where the autoplay only begins if you click to another window or you manually move the thumbnails to the left or right. Then it works fine. Can anyone look at the code and see if they can see what I'm doing wrong?

7 downloads Hi all, Is it possible in php to read data from file as binary and operate on it with bitwise operators and save result as binary. Thanks I need some help getting started in writing the php code that would import a text file of name/value pairs and then create an html table with those values. The datafile looks something like this: [number]-[attribute]=[value]; 1-Host=server1.abc.dev.jkl;2-Date=Wed Aug 12 2010;3-Set=abc.123.cde;4-Time=01:00:03;5-Length=00:36:09;6-Size=41.54 GB;7-Status=Succeeded; 1-Host=server2.abc.dev.qrs;2-Date=Wed Aug 12 2010;3-Set=gls202.kul_lvm;5-Length=06:20:33;7-Status=Succeeded; 1-Host=server9.mra.dev.xyz;2-Date=Wed Aug 11 2010;3-Set=gls101.aie_lvm;4-Time=01:00:02; Let's say I have an html table: Code: [Select] <table id="stats"> tr> <th>Host</th> <th>Date</th> <th>Set</th> <th>Time</th> <th>Length</th> <th>Size</th> <th>Status</th> </tr> <tr> <td>server1.abc.dev.jkl</td> <td>Wed Aug 12 2010</td> <td>abc.123.cde</td> <td>01:00:03</td> <td>00:36:09</td> <td>41.54 GB</td> <td>Succeeded</td> </tr> </table> I've looked around all day at various samples. I've seen the fgetcsv function. I'm not sure what would be the best approach to load this into data into a table. Using a regex, then load into array or hash and then print this out? I'm assuming i would have to create print statements to produce the html tags. Also, with the sample records I provided. There will be instances where not all the attributes (1-7) have values. So, i'm envisioning empty cells for that record which is fine. I can also change the way the datafile is generated and remove the [number], so its just [attribute]=[value] if that makes it easier. Is there a good mapping technique for this? Thank you for your help. I'm having a problem and need an answer to why its happening and how to prevent it. Scenario: I begin load my home page which starts with a session_start(); .... Before it FULLY completes loading I try to navigate to another page and BOOM, that page will not load and any other page that begins with session_start(); will not load unless I close and restart the entire browser or wait about 10 minutes.... I will note my website makes ajax calls every 5 seconds or so, but I use setTimeout for them. Any help??? Thanks ahead! I know this can't be accomplished with JUST PHP, however a few questions. I want to create code that will allow users to record an audio message and then this will be saved as a file and linked into my database (hence the PHP/MySQL requirement). How would I go about this? Is it possible? Which languages would I need? |
