PHP - How Do I Check For: File_exists(): Open_basedir Restriction In Effect. File(/tmp) Is Not Within The Allowed Path(s):
Hi all My code give this: <b>Warning</b>: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/clients/........ I get the tmp folder and check for its existanse and whether it is writeable
$t=sys_get_temp_dir(); Both gives no which is fine, I can process that. I do it to avoid the output above, but I still get that. How should I check for allowed paths? This runs on several systems where I cannot access php.ini or other system stuff.
Similar TutorialsOk I am designing a php upload that will take a image file from a form and change the name of the file to the productnumber also recieved from the form. I had it working the otherday now it says Warning: copy() [function.copy]: open_basedir restriction in effect File() is not within the allowed path(s): (/home:/tmp:/usr) addpro.php on line 51. my files are attached.... note that $pnum is the product number gotten from my form and image is the image being uploaded gotten from the form also. The thing is it worked the other day but now it don't is it a change to the server ( I dont run the server) or did I mess up my code since then? I really need a code that will do this two time over once for a small image being put into a folder called small and once for a folder called large both images being uploaded and being changed to $pnum.ext so they will both be displayed when being called out by the product number. but I can work on that after I get this one working. line 51 is $copied = copy($_FILES['image']['tmp_name'], $newname); Hello everybody , This is my first topic here and I hope I will find the solution for my problem. I want to restrict access to file (for exemple: http://www.mysite.com/files/file0000.zip) to a just a specific IP that will be read from the database. And also store all other IPs trying to access this file. Can this be done, maybe through some php and htaccess? Thank you for any help or any other ideas. I want to get suggested keywords from yahoo api service. When xml file is empty (no keyword), it gives error. To resolve this problem I used this code: if (file_exists('http://search.yahooapis.com/WebSearchService/V1/relatedSuggestion?appid=YahooDemo&query=Madonna&results=2')) { $xmlmetades = simplexml_load_file('http://search.yahooapis.com/WebSearchService/V1/relatedSuggestion?appid=YahooDemo&query=Madonna&results=2'); } Since it is not a normal .xml file, it is always considered no file, and return nothing. I'm just trying to find out if php has the ability to check if any file exists, with only part of the filename given.. I have this path: if (file_exists($dir.'/'.$c_file.'/templ_*')) { I added a little star.. That star represents whatever the rest of that file is named for this example.. It could be anything.. So can php match any files that start with "templ_", and say that it does or does not exist?? Thanks I'm working on a WordPress theme and I'm trying to build in a simple if statement which will check if the user has add his own logo into the images folder if he doesn't then the name of the blog will appear as normal text in place of the graphic logo. This is how it looks like: <?php $logo_dir = get_template_directory_uri() . "/images/logo.png"; if (file_exists($logo_dir)) { ?> <li><img src="<?php bloginfo ('template_directory'); ?>/images/logo.png" alt="<?php bloginfo('description'); ?>" /></li> <?php } else { ?> <li id='blog_name'><a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>"><?php bloginfo('name'); ?><font>*</font></a></li> <?php } ?> I've echo'd out $logo_dir, the URL is correct, but still for some reason it's seeing it as if there would no file exist. If I turn it around into !file_exists then the graphic logo WILL show up. So it's always seeing it as non-existent. Any ideas why this could be or am I using this function in a wrong fashion? As far as I've understood the PHP manual, this is the correct way of using it. Code what i made so far.
$inputText = 'This is testing http://www.youtube.com'; $allowedDomains = 'www.google.com youtube.com/ http://www.test.org'; $array = preg_split('/[\s]+/', $allowedDomains); $regex = '';//Need this line if(preg_match($regex, $inputText)){ print 'Domain match!'; }else{ print 'Domain not match!'; } Edited by jacob21, 16 October 2014 - 08:31 AM. *delurk! It had to happen sooner or later!* OK, I am totally and utterly stumped. I have this script: $this->clear_cache ($this->cache_dir, $this->cache_time); if ($this->cache_time > 0) { $current_page = $_SERVER ['REQUEST_URI']; $current_page_encoded = base64_encode($current_page); $current_page_path = $this->cache_dir . $current_page_encoded; if (file_exists($current_page_path)) { // see if there is still a file with the name of the current request URI after cache cleared $content = file_get_contents ($current_page_path); return $content; } } Basically, it is for checking if there is a cached version of the page before running the rest of the script, using the REQUEST_URI as the identifier. So it calls a function to clear the cache, which works fine (and I've tried just deleting the cache files manually anyway). Then it checks if we are even caching, i.e. if cache time is greater than 0. Then it uses the BASE64-encoded REQUEST_URI (under which name the file would have been cached previously) to check if a file with that name still exists in the cache dir, and if so loads it. Now, this works perfectly with a url like: mysite/myscript/mysubpage But when the page has parameters, like: mysite/myscript/mysubpage?search=widgets the file_exists function returns TRUE, even though the directory is empty. I did do a clearstatcache(); but it made no difference and anyway, it wouldn't explain why the URI with query string would fail while the regular one would not. And even if something is wrong with my code elsewhere, the fact is it is returning TRUE for a non-existent file. Can someone prevent my slide into insanity?! Hi! So I'm working for someone, and they want me to fix this error in a PHP file.. Here is the code: <?php include_once('config.php'); $online = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE status LIKE 'Online'"); $offline = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE status LIKE 'Offline'"); $dead = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE status LIKE 'Dead'"); $admintrue = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE admin LIKE 'True'"); $adminfalse = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE admin LIKE 'False'"); $windows8 = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE so LIKE '%8%'"); $windows7 = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE so LIKE '%7%'"); $windowsvista = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE so LIKE '%vista%'"); $windowsxp = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE so LIKE '%xp%'"); $unknown = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots WHERE so LIKE 'Unknown'"); $totalbots = mysql_num_rows(mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bots")); $onlinecount = 0; $offlinecount = 0; $deadcount = 0; $admintruecount = 0; $adminfalsecount = 0; $windows8count = 0; $windows7count = 0; $windowsvistacount = 0; $windowsxpcount = 0; $unknowncount = 0; while($row = mysql_fetch_array($online)){ $onlinecount++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($offline)){ $offlinecount++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($dead)){ $deadcount++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($admintrue)){ $admintruecount++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($adminfalse)){ $adminfalsecount++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($windows8)){ $windows8count++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($windows7)){ $windows7count++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($windowsvista)){ $windowsvistacount++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($windowsxp)){ $windowsxpcount++; } while($row = mysql_fetch_array($unknown)){ $unknowncount++; } $statustotal = $onlinecount + $offlinecount + $deadcount; $admintotal = $admintruecount + $adminfalsecount; $sototal = $windows7count + $windowsvistacount + $windowsxpcount + $unknowncount; ?> Can anyone tell me the error here, can how to fix it? What file size is allowed with this code?
if (@$_POST['submit'] != "") { $allowed_ext = array("gif", "jpeg", "jpg", "png", "pdf", "doc", "docs", "zip", "flv", "mp4"); $extension = end(explode(".", $_FILES["file"]["name"])); if (($_FILES["file"]["size"] < 524288000) && in_array($extension, $allowed_ext)) { <td><label for='images'> <b>File to upload:</b> </label></td> <td><input type='file' name = 'drama_image' '<?php echo $row['drama_image']; ?>'/></ </tr> <?php $target_path = "images/"; $target_path = $target_path . basename( $_FILES['images']['name']); if(move_uploaded_file($_FILES['images']['tmp_name'], $target_path)) { echo "The file ". basename( $_FILES['images']['name']). I have a made a section on my site where I can upload files to a specific directory, rename them and delete them. So I don't have to go through a FTP program. When renaming and deleting a file I connect using FTP commands with PHP, except when uploading. When uploading it gets the file that has been uploaded from the form on the page before which has its own code using <input type="file"> to search for a local file, then when submit is clicked it uploads it. Then on my PHP script it moves that file from the temp upload folder to the actual site. Bottom line is, is there any way I can make a button that opens a file browser on the users PC and returns the filepath chosen? So I can use FTP to upload the file rather than the form? Hi everybody. I use flash 8 and actionscript 2.0. I am trying to create a small program that needs communication between php / HTML and flash. I have found ( after much frustration and having wasted days on this ) that no matter what - if i make a change to my program and re publish the HTMl AND SWF files after I have deleted the old HTML and swf files , even then when i run the NEW PUBLISHED html / php file, the movie that runs is the old one. I have tried all that I know, like checking paths and stuff to ensure that everything is ok. I am unable to shed the chached old swf file and so the old movie continues to run. Is there any one who has encountered anything like this? Please help me. This is driving me nuts. Thanks loads in anticipation of a reply from the nerds on this ! Hi Everyone i am looking for a way to automatically upload a file but skip the browse and choose file process. So i set the location of the file somehow via the form and the client just has to click submit and it will automatcially upload the file from the path i have set. skipping the browse for file process.
