Code: [Select] <?php mysql_connect("myserver", "myname", "mypass") or die(mysql_error()); mysql_select_db("mydb") or die(mysql_error()); if(isset($_COOKIE['ID_my_site'])) { $username = $_COOKIE['ID_my_site']; $pass = $_COOKIE['Key_my_site']; $check = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM Users WHERE name = '$name'")or die(mysql_error()); while($info = mysql_fetch_array( $check )) { if ($password != $info['password']) { header("Location: login.php"); } else { ?> <html> <body> <h1>WHY</h1> </body> </html> <?php } } } else { header("Location: login.php"); } ?> I was googling and read somewhere that it might be a session bug after the initial '<?php tag'? Any help would be greatly appreciated Tokae The php web video script that I'm using displays user/member account pages in google searches. For example, the url displaying the page is the https://webvideosite.com/@chrisj I'm looking for guidance/suggestions on how to have the user/member account pages not appear in searches, either by blocking that somehow, or only having access to it if you are logged into the site. I look forward to any replies I was wondering how does one go about showing results from SELECT query in columns in a html table. I have a list of products in a table, and would like to show them on the page in 4 columns. I have done many searches on google to try and find the sulution, but the majority of what im finding instead is about displaying a table from phpmyadmin as a table in html. If its a large operation to do this, I would be very happy if someone could poiint me in the direction of a tutorial maybe. Here is the code I have so far to display the products, but for some reason, it only show 1 row instead of all the rows from my table. Code: [Select] <?php $dbhost = "localhost"; $dbuser = "user"; $dbpass = "pass"; $dbname = "dbname"; mysql_connect ($dbhost, $dbuser, $dbpass)or die("Could not connect: ".mysql_error()); mysql_select_db($dbname) or die(mysql_error()); $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM mcproducts"); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { $products_local_id = $row['products_local_id']; $productname = $row['product_name']; $thumburl = $row['image_from_url']; $productlink = $row['product_local_url']; $thumbnail = $row['product_image_small']; $currencysymbol = $row['product_currency']; $price = $row['product_price']; $flagicon = $row['product_country_from']; } ?> <html> <head> <link href="style/stylesheet.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> </head> <body> <div class="displaybox"> <div class="productimage"> <a href="<?php echo $productlink; ?><?php echo $products_local_id; ?>"><img src="<?php echo $thumburl; ?><?php echo $thumbnail ?>" width="150" height="150"></a> </div> <div class="productdescription"> <div class="pro_name"> <a href="<?php echo $productlink ?><?php echo $products_local_id; ?>"><?php echo $productname; ?></a> </div> <div class="pro_description"> </div> <?php if ($flagicon=="Ireland") { $flagicon = "<img src=\"flags/ireland.jpg\">"; } elseif ($flagicon=="UK") { $flagicon = "<img src=\"flags/uk.jpg\">"; } else echo ""; ?> <div class="pro_description"><?php echo $flagicon; ?><?php echo $currencysymbol ?> <?php echo $price ?></div> </div> </div> </body> </html> Many thanks, DB Hello! Nick I have a simple contact form with a textarea field, where the visitor can type a message in. However, if the user enters paragraphs or any type of line breaks, then the email that is sent shows the "\r\n" characters. I've tried using the nl2br function to no avail. Here's a sample code snippet: Code: [Select] $message = $_POST["message"]; // To send HTML mail, the Content-type header must be set $headers = 'MIME-Version: 1.0' . "\r\n"; $headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . "\r\n"; // Additional headers $headers .= 'From: '. $_POST["email"]; mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers); Am I missing something? I am getting no error message, but the connect string down to the end of the body section is showing up as plain text in my browser window. I do not know how to correct this. I have tried using two different types of connect strings and have verified my names from the HTML page are the same as listed within the php page. Suggestions on what I need to look for to correct would be great. I have looked online, but so far all I am getting is how to connect, or how to create a comment, so I thought I would try here. Thank you for any assistance I may get!! - Amy - Code: [Select] <body><font color="006600"> <div style="background-color:#f9f9dd;"> <fieldset> <h1>Asset Entry Results</h1> <?php // create short variable names $tag=$_POST['tag']; $serial=$_POST['serial']; $category=$_POST['category']; $status=$_POST['status']; $branch=$_POST['branch']; $comments=$_POST['comments']; if (!$tag || !$serial || !$category || !$status || !$branch) { echo "You have not entered all the required details.<br />" ."Please go back and try again."; exit; } if (!get_magic_quotes_gpc()) { $tag = addslashes($tag); $serial = addslashes($serial); $category = addslashes($category); $status = addslashes($status); $branch = addslashes($branch); $comments = addslashes($comments); } //@ $db = new mysqli('localhost', 'id', 'pw', 'inventory'); $db = DBI->connect("dbi:mysql:inventory:localhost","id","pw") or die("couldnt connect to database"); $query = "insert into assets values ('".$serial."', '".$tag."', '".$branch."', '".$status."', '".$category."', '".$comments."')"; $result = $db->query($query); if ($result) { echo $db->affected_rows." asset inserted into Inventory."; } else { echo "An error has occurred. The item was not added."; } $db->close(); ?> </fieldset> </div> </body> This happens from time to time and it really drives me crazy. I cannot get the problem to reproduce, although I have plenty of evidence that it is happening. I have a php page that pulls in some database from mssql formats it in a nice table then send via email to a 3rd party. All of that works great. What happens is in some of the emails the first column will show the table cell information for the next column. See example: Code: [Select] Mascaw Mar. 8, 2012 - 6:15 pm Ronnie Johnson Newtown Pike<td width="150"> Mar. 8, 2012 - 6:15 pm Todd Doe Hall of Justice Mar. 8, 2012 - 6:15 pm Carol French I had this problem before with another emailing system and found that wrapping the email to 900 before sending it out fixed it. I wrapped this with $message = wordwrap($message, 900, "\n", true);() but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Anyone ran into this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Hi, My first post here is a cry for help I have a Windows 2003 server running IIS6/PHP5, the server hosts multiple web sites. The problem is include files that are for site A are showing on site B (each site having its own includes as part of the site files in its own site folder), though not every time, its very random, sometimes the correct includes show, sometimes ones from another site on the same server. This only occurs where the include files for both sites have the same name, such as 'inc-header.php' for example. I can only assume PHP is caching includes and because they have the same name is showing the wrong one on other sites sometimes, if I rename them to something unique then the problem goes away, but its not a practical solution to rename all include files to unique names so I find myself looking for a 'real' fix. I have a feeling its to do with the include_path in the php.ini, but right now its disabled with a semi-colon, and I don't want to set one as I have no global includes, all includes are site specific. Any help would be very much appreciated! Phil First the code: Code: [Select] <?php $columns = 4; $num_results = mysql_num_rows($result); $col_rows = intval($num_results / $columns); $count = 1; ?> <table cellspacing="2" class="tabela"> <tr> <td> <?php while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { $count = $count++; $title = $row["Rim"]; $model = $row["model"]; $dimenzija = $row["Dimenzija"]; $ime = $row['name']; echo "$model<br>$dimenzija<br>$ime" ; if ($count == $col_rows) { echo "</td>\n"; echo "<td>\n"; $count = 1; }} ?> </td> </tr> </table> (table is 100% width and td is 25%) Problem with this is that td will go in linear like structure. I want it after 4 td's to go into new row (something like <br> tag). How to do this? Also when their is one result, td is 100% width (it stretch across hole screen). How to define it to be 25% at all time? Hello I have a problem with my html email - My code can send the email but i can't see the email on my yahoomail or gmail... Here is the code Code: [Select] <?php $to = 'slightbrand@gmail.com'; $subject = 'Test HTML Email'; $headers = "From: slightbrand@yahoo.com\r\n"; $headers .= "Reply-To: slightbrand@yahoo.com\r\n"; $headers .= "CC: slightbrand1@ymail.com\r\n"; $headers .= "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n"; $headers .= "Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1\r\n"; $message = '<html><body>'; $message .= '<table style="width:100%; border:none;">'; $message .= '<TR> <TD colspan="2"> Thanks for using Mobile Nets</TD> </TR>'; $message .= '<TR><TD style="width:80px;"><b>Name</b></TD><TD> Dummy </TD></TR>'; $message .= '<TR><TD style="width:80px;"><b>Age</b></TD><TD> 16 </TD></TR>'; $message .= '<TR><TD style="width:80px;"><b>Address</b></TD><TD> Address of me </TD></TR>'; $message .= '<TR><TD style="width:80px;"><b>Message</b></TD><TD> Test Email </TD></TR>'; $message .= '</table>'; $message .= '</body></html>'; if(mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers)){ echo "Email Sent"; }else{ echo "Error while trying to send the email"; } ?> Can someone tell me what the problem is? thanks this string: Code: [Select] $str2="<html> <body> <h1>lol<h1/> <p>hahaha</p> </body> </html>" note: between the tags it's "\n". that a is creating new html page, but the code of the new page is looking like that: Code: [Select] <html><body><h5>lol<h5/><p>hahaha</p></body><html/>as a code and not as html should be display. the php code that creating the html page look like that: while($i<$p) { $pattern='/\n/'; if(preg_match($pattern,substr($str2,$i,1))) { echo "yes \$str3=".$str3."<br />"; $i++; $myFile = "files/testFile.html"; $fh = fopen($myFile, 'a') or die("can't open file"); fwrite($fh,$str3); fclose($fh); $str3=""; } else { $str3.=$str2[$i]; echo $str3."<br />\$i=".$i; $i++; } } the code is fine and he don't show any error or warring and working, but he won't create for me new html document as he should be why??? It works like a charm but the only problem I get when the page loads it SENDS an email without info of course because it sends it without someone pushing the submit button. Hereis my HTM Land PHP code Code: [Select] <form method="post" action="viewpage.php?page_id=5"> Email: <input name="email" type="text"><br> Message:<br> <textarea name="message" rows="15" cols="40"></textarea><br> <input type="submit"> </form> (note the action is in the page itself because thats where the php code is, now for the PHP code:) Code: [Select] <?php $to = "hidden for privacy"; $subject = "LoL Recruitment"; $email = $_REQUEST['email'] ; $message = $_REQUEST['message'] ; $headers = "From: $email"; $sent = mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers) ; if($sent) {print "Your mail was sent successfully"; } else {print "We encountered an error sending your mail"; } ?> For some reason I go to the page and it auto sends an email without waiting for me to "submit" the form... Is there any suggestions?? EDIT: I noticed its automatically doing the PHP script as soon as the page opens, because the HTML and PHP script is in the same "page" and not in different files, I understand this and I want it like this I dont want to have to create another file just for it to stop this bug. Theres got to be a way to pause the PHP script and activate it when the "Submit" button is pressed. Hi there, its possible to something like this. <?php $i=0; $MW_Services ="aaaa.php"; $fh_MW_Services = fopen($MW_Services, 'w') or die("can't open file"); $string_MW_Services = "<html><head> </script><span style='padding-left:5px'> MW Services </head> <body> <table> <tr> <td>Teste</td> <td BACKGROUND='images/da.JPG'></td> <td></td> <td><?php for($i;$i>2;$i++){print $i;} ?> </td> </tr> </table> </body>"; fwrite($fh_MW_Services, $string_MW_Services); fclose($fh_MW_Services); ?> my problem is that the code doesnt do the cicle for it only. Tanks Hi everyone I just getting back to PHP after a break but have forgot how to build a HTML table row. Here is the part of the code that builds up rows for a html table... while($rows = mysql_fetch_array($qry)){ $table .= " <tr> <td><input type=\"checkbox\" name=\"C1\" value=\"ON\"></td> <td width=\"87\">$rows['ref']</td> <td width=\"178\">$rows['transactionReferenceNumber']</td> <td>$rows['totalAmountReceived']</td> <td>$rows['myItemQuantity']</td> <td>$rows['flag_1']</td> <td>$rows['flag2']</td> </tr> "; } This causes an error as you might expect. Please tell me the best way to place the html code into $table I'm having a problem getting my contact form information to arrive in the desired email account. The email account itself if provided by my web host. It has the ability to send and receive emails. The validation works perfectly eg when i type in incorrect/ miss out information it displays the appropriate error message. When i put in the proper information it displays the "Thank you for contacting us. We will be in touch with you very soon" message but not email arrives in the specified email account. Could someone please check over my code and see if there is something that I am missing? Below are the html form and php codes. Code: [Select] <form action="send_form_email.php" method="post" > <table width="400" border="0"> <tr> <td width="150" valign="top"> <label for="first_name">*First Name:-</label> </td> <td valign="top" align="right"> <input type="text" name="first_name" maxlength="50" size="37"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="150" valign="top"> <label for="last_name">*Last Name:-</label> </td> <td valign="top" align="right"> <input type="text" name="last_name" maxlength="50" size="37"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="150" valign="top"> <label for="email">*Email Address:-</label> </td> <td valign="top" align="right"> <input type="text" name="email" maxlength="50" size="37"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="150" valign="top"> <label for="phone">Telephone Number:-</label> </td> <td valign="top" align="right"> <input type="text" name="phone" maxlength="50" size="37"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="150" valign="top"> <label for="contact">Contact Time:-</label> </td> <td valign="top" align="right"> <select name="contact"> <option value="Anytime from 9am - 9pm!">Anytime from 9am - 9pm!</option> <option value="9am - 1pm">9am - 1pm</option> <option value="1pm - 2pm">1pm - 2pm</option> <option value="2pm - 6pm">2pm - 6pm</option> <option value="6pm - 9pm">6pm - 6pm</option> <option value="Please do not contact me by phone!">Please do not contact me by phone!</option> <option value="">_________________________________</option> </select> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="150" valign="top"> <label for="find">How did you hear about MPM?</label> </td> <td valign="top" align="right"> <select name="find"> <option value="Search Engine">Search Engine</option> <option value="Facebook Ad">Facebook Ad</option> <option value="Facebook Profile">Facebook Profile</option> <option value="Gumtree Ad">Gumtree Ad</option> <option value="Recommendation">Recommendation</option> <option value="">_________________________________</option> </select> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" valign="top"> <br> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" valign="top"> <label for="comments">*Enquiry:-</label> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" valign="top"> <center> <textarea name="comments" maxlength="1000" cols="47" rows="10"></textarea> </center> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" valign="top"> <br> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" align="center" valign="top"> * = Required Field </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" align="center" valign="top"> <input type="submit" value=" Send your enquiry! All the check boxes have a name and a checked value of 1 - the receiving page (for example submit.php) has the variables defined: $tickbox1 = $_POST['tickbox1']; The problem I am finding is that if the box isnt checked - I get an "index is not defined" error. I would suppose because there is no value. I have tried this before and it has worked, however that was on Apache and this is on IIS. Is there a work around? Thanks Matt |
