PHP - Disable Button If Value Exists Or Equal To Array
Hi, I am a newbie in PHP (about week and a half). I'm writing a website for myself right now. I've got a problem that I cannot solve. The website is about buying files with website custom balance. What I want to do is disable buy button if user bought this file b4. The is a table user_files that stores user id and file id. And another table that stores files data, ID name who uploaded date time ect.... What I'm trying to do, is disabling buy button if the user has already the file. This is what I've done : while ($row = $rocket->fetch()) { ?> <tr> <td><?php echo $row['id']; ?></td> <td><?php echo $row['name']; ?></td> <td><?php echo $row['uploader']; ?></td> <td><?php echo $row['uploadtime']; ?></td> <td><button <?php // Echo "disabled" if $row['id'] id is present in row2['file_id'] <<<<<<< Need to do this in a while. ?> ><a href="download.php?id=<?php echo $row['id']; ?>"></a><?php echo $row['price'] . "D$" ?></button></td> </tr> <?php } ?> What I can't do is check if the file id ($row['id']) is present in ($row2['file_id']), if yes echo "disabled";
Similar TutorialsOk, so I have a field in database called shutoff( a date when registrations will no longer be accepted for an event). How can I make it so that on the specified date, the register button will change to "no longer accepting Registrations". here is the form: Code: [Select] <?php // when displaying an article show a link // to see the article list if(isset($_GET['eventid'])) { ?> <div id="info " > <p>Date(s): <?php echo $startdate; ?><span class="klgjsa"> -</span> <?php echo $enddate; ?><br /> <span class="fgsdfg">Location:</span> <?php echo $location; ?><br /> <span class="adfasdf">Description</span><span class="adfdas">: </span><?php echo $description; ?> </p> <p> </p> <center> <table width="577" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td width="565" bgcolor="#C5C0B7" class="hjkh" scope="col"><?php echo $event; ?><font color='#C5C0B7'>...........................</font> <font size='-1'> <?php if ($accounttype =='Admin'){ echo "<a href='cofirmation.php'>Confirm Registrations </a><font color='#C5C0B7'>...</font><a href='quickregister.php?eventid=".$_GET['eventid']."'>Quick Registration</a><font color='#C5C0B7'>...</font><a href='viewregistered.php?eventid=".$_GET['eventid']."'>View Registrations</a>"; } ?></font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#999999" class="hjkh" scope="col"><table width="576" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1"> <tr> <td width="91" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" scope="col"><?php $sql = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM Registration WHERE eventid=".$_GET['eventid']." Maybe I am over thinking this, but I would like to see if their is another value after the current value without moving the internal array pointer. What can I do? Is there a way that you can disable a button at a set date and time?
For example, my work has a competition site running and I want to give people the option to change their weekly selections by clicking on an edit button up to 6pm on a certain Friday. After this time it either disappears or is just made inactive.
ie:
Comp 1 -> 'Edit' then disable after 6:00pm 2nd Jan
Comp 2 -> 'Edit' then disable after 6:00pm 9th Jan
Comp 3 -> 'Edit' then disable after 6:00pm 16th Jan etc....
I am not even sure where to start with this one.
I am trying to compare an array containing required questions to an array holding survey responses. When a user submits a survey, I take the $_POST array and write the values to a new array called $surveyResponseArray. How can I determine if $surveyResponseArray exists?
Edited February 16 by SaranacLake Code: [Select] $result = mysql_query("SELECT field_item_id_value FROM `content_type_ads`"); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)){ echo $row['field_item_id_value']; echo "<br />"; echo $result; } I am trying to use an "array diff()" argument and I am getting errors with it stating the above is not an array. I have used $row and $result, and neither work. Is this not dumping into an array properly? hello, have a question. im trying to do a select * where id exists in array $id8 here is my array Code: [Select] $result8 = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM customers WHERE whosclient = 'Lansoft'"); while($row8 = mysql_fetch_array($result8)) { $id8=$row8['id']; } here is my select code. it is only returning results for the highest number in the array Code: [Select] $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM timesheets WHERE status = 3 AND billable = 1 AND client = '$id8' ORDER BY date, starttime"); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { Thanks for any help! Hi, I am new to PHP world!! I am just trying to find a way to disable a button after its been clicked for lets say 5 minutes. I have searched google and haven't found what I am looking for. I just dont want the users to be able to refresh the page and the button becomes enabled again. any code examples with explanation or a simple tutorial will be much appreciated. Thanks Hey Guys, I need some assistance, hopefully there is just a simple command that I am not aware of or an easy answer to this. Suppose I have an array with x amount of values... $arr = array("111111" => 10, "222222" => 20); And i have a query.. mysql_query("SELECT * FROM table WHERE table.zip = "111111" "); Suppose I want to modify the query, so it can check if table.zip exists anywhere in $arr, regardless of length of array. And Select the value that the array location refers to. So I need it to check if "111111" is anywhere in the array, and then take the value 10. The example I am applying this to is that I have a database full of business addresses/zip codes and a database full of every zip code in country. So I have a script to get every zip within x miles, and the distance from it, but need to be able to apply it when I query my business addresses to see if it exists within x miles. Thanks! Greg Hi All, There is a very interesting solved topic here (http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=304966.0) about how to access elements in embedded _POST array. But before accessing an element, it might be appropriate to check whether the array it is supposed to be in exists. According to the solution given in the topic indicated above, Code: [Select] $_POST['matType'] is an example of embedded array . Is there a way to check if this array exists? Thanks in advance for your help. I'm a total noob trying to figure out how to get this function to work right. I want to echo for each Code: [Select] '<OPTION value="'.$SKUCAPS.$skunum.$size.'">'.$size.'</OPTION>' for each size in the $skus[$type][$skunum]['sizes'] array. and if no size exists echo Code: [Select] '<input value="'.$SKUCAPS.$skunum.'" type=hidden" name="item">' Code: [Select] <?php $BANDNAME="Band Name"; $BANDCAPS="BANDNAME"; $BANDLOWER="bandname"; $SKUCAPS="BND"; $SKULOWER="bnd"; $skus = array( 'shirts' => array( '165' => array( 'name' => 'World Khaos Tour <br> Limited Edition Tour Track Jacket.', 'price' => '70.00', 'sizes' => array('M', 'L', '1X' ) ), '139' => array( 'name' => 'KHAOS LEGIONS ALBUM COVER', 'price' => '15.95', 'sizes' => array('S', 'M', 'L', '1X' ) ), ), //end product type 'misc' => array( '603' => array( 'name' => 'Ring Button', 'price' => '3.00', 'sizes' => array('none') ), '602' => array( 'name' => 'Logo Button', 'price' => '3.00', 'sizes' => array('none') ) ) //end product type ); //end skus function makeProduct($type){ global $skus; foreach ( $skus[$type] as $skunum => $value) { $price = $skus[$type][$skunum]['price']; $name = $skus[$type][$skunum]['name']; echo ' <!-- PRODUCT BEGIN --> <li class="product" > <a href="images/'.$SKULOWER.$skunum.'lg.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img src="product_files/'.$SKULOWER.$skunum.'.png"></a><br> <strong>'.$name.'</strong><br>'.$SKUCAPS.$skunum.'<br>$'.$price.'<br> <form name="'.$SKUCAPS.$skunum.'" method="GET" target="_blank" action="http://www.jsrdirect.com/cgi-bin/Make-a-Store.cgi"> <input type="hidden" name="band" value="'.$BANDCAPS.'"> <input type="hidden" name="back" value="http://www.jsrdirect.com/bands/'.$BANDLOWER.'/index.html"> <strong>Qty:</strong> <input type="text" name="quantity" size="1" value="1" > <strong>Size:</strong> <SELECT name="item">'.makeSizes(). '</SELECT> <br><br> <input class="css3button" value="Add To Cart" type="image"> </form> </li> <!-- Product End -->'; } } ?> any help would be greatly appreciated Hi, I have 2 radio button's within a table and need to pass this array. All other rows within my table can be sent as array's and captured using $_POST['field_name'][$ROW 1 value etc]. However for radio buttons this doesn't work. As an example, a standard textbox I can send an array using the following: echo "<td width='33%'><input type='Textbox' width='100%' id='test' name='test[]' value='" .$row['test']. "'></td>"; I can then capture it using: $test = $_POST['test'][$iLine]; This works, no problem, however for radio buttons, I can't use a static array name, as presumably it dumps all rows into the array, if I do this, only the last row has a checked button, hence I need to use the following (where $checked includes the logic to decide whether the button should be checked or not, this works correctly): echo "<input type='radio' name='".$row['venue_id']."[]' value='1'".$checked."/>P1" echo "<input type='radio' name='".$row['venue_id']."[]' value='0'".$checked2." />P2"; I tried using the following: var_dump($_POST[$row]['game_id'][$iLine]); But this just returns a null value. Any ideas? Hello, I am new to php, and what I need to know and learn is a part of an assignment I normally wouldn't ask for help on the net for an assignment but my teacher is not very helpful and other students are struggling too! I have searched the net inside and out and have tried many things. My problem is that I am trying to remove a line from an array by clicking a delete button. The outpur I need is: a line of text that comes from my text file after it is exploded into an array | With a delete button here next line of text that comes from my text file after it is exploded into an array | With a delete button here etc I have managed to write this much myself - Code: [Select] <?php $file = fopen('fav/fav.txt', 'r'); $file = file_get_contents('fav/fav.txt'); $file_array = explode("\n",$file); array_pop($file_array); foreach($file_array as $line) { echo "<form method='post' action=''>".$line. "<input type='submit' name='post' value='delete'><br>"; $fh = fopen("fav/fav.txt",'w'); foreach ($file_array as $line) { fwrite($fh,$line."\n"); } fclose($fh); } ?> The array_pop deletes from the bottom instead of the line the button is next too, I realise I will need to use and if statement but this is the closest I have gotten. Thanks in advance!!! This topic has been moved to Ajax Help. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=332103.0 I'm trying to set up my home page so that when the server loads index.php it that loads home.php but all the information for home.php is stored in the database under ID 13. Doesn't seem to be doing what I need it to do: Code: [Select] <?php if (date <= "4/8/2011") echo "Event Details"; else echo "Default Text"; ?> Basically, I want to show "Event Details" if the date is before or on 4/8/2011. If it is after 4/8/2011, I want to show "Default Text" It seems to be doing the opposite. What am I missing? Hi, i am trying to write a part of script for google shopping export, and all i want is that in this line, everything that is 0 or smaller, the line "pre-order" krijgt and everything that is 1 or greater the line "in stock" This is what i've got now, but it doesn't work I removed the rest of the long code. In my "content" column, I am trying to have the article I have written. This content is going to change from page to page depending on the amount of content. At the bottom of the "content" I am trying to add a comments section.
To the right of the "content" column I have a "sidebar" and the problem I am having is as the "content" column grows or shrinks, it is effecting the positioning of the "sidebar" and moves the content of the "sidebar" up or down.
I have tried to investigate how to correct this and what I have read makes absolutely no sense to me so the only way I can figure out to fix this (keeping in mind that I am in the process of teaching myself CSS and I use the trial and error method of learning) is to set the height of the "content" column to a fixed number and then force the "sidebar" to move up or down by using something like 'margin-top: -1200px". The problem with this is when comments are added, the content of the "sidebar" moves down.
My question is, does anyone know of a way to get both columns to adjust to equal heights that won't cause me to pull what little hair I have left out? Would that anyone be willing to explain to me why your method should work?
I know that I should include the code for the page I am having the problem with, but it is (in my opinion) pretty extensive and if someone is willing to try to tackle this it might be easier to just bring up the source code.
Just FYI . . . the page in question can be seen at http://pickmysmoker....ne_smokers.php/
Thanks in advance . . .
