PHP - Form Question To Include Html & Php Code. I Get Email, But It Doesn't Have User Input From Website

I am trying to keep the user input clean with this script but can't figure out what is wrong with it.

One more question. So I have a function with two parameters, $x and $y. Here it is.

Now here's the problem. I want $equation to be user defined. Easy enough, I use a post command and I get $equation to equal whatever the user inputs. The problem is that if I get input from the user, I'm not sure how to take that input and then have the function parameters work on it. Like if the user inputs "3*$x + 2*$y", i want to be able to let the parameters for the function dydx act on it. How could I go about doing this?

hello all, i have a php form with multiple submits (one calculates price, one checks date and one submits the form and the data to mysql database)
when i hit calculate price, for example, the function works fine but all the fields are cleared and i would like for all the input to remain as the user sent.

I am quite impressed with what I have done there, though I know its nothing special and could obviously be done not using functions at all, just wanted to see if I could get one that returns something, in this case the 'getValue()' function.

But when I've set it to work out what type of variable ie gettype is it? (going off completely memory here), its always a string, even if all I do is enter a 1, even tried not using the GET method for the form and used the POST one instead it still says that a single integer is a string.

Why just out of question is it doing this?

I am stumped here, can not figure out a efficient way to collect all the data on this page and send it to my to user's id number.
I am trying to format the email to include question #1 and then next to it radio1 (answer yes/no) , question#2 and so on followed by the viewers input from the last part of the form. Does any one know of some thing im missing here?

Please Help me on how to create a website using with code n a little bit explanation using PHP n phpmyadmin.
The mainthing that i need to do is using php create a simple site that logs on by connecting it to the phpmyadmin database such that i need to store the user details like name,mobile number,age,loaction,lattitude n longitude in database.Also i need to retrieve the database whenever required!!!

I have read around and can't seem to find the right coding for what I need on this forum and some other other forums.

I have a contact form (as listed below) and I need 2 locations (Print Name and Title) fields to auto-populate on a separate form (can be a doc, pdf, etc. any form of document which is easiest) and this form can be totally back end and the individual using the form never is going to see the form.

It's going on a contract form, that we would like to auto-populate.

Hi,

I'm working on a web application that will interact with an existing website from another company.

On the other company's site, there will be a form (using POST) that has my web application as the action element. The user who clicked the submit button will be redirected to my site, where I need to receive the $_POST data from this form to process before redirecting into the web application.

I have done work on the other side, using standard form posts to send data to another site, but I've never had to write the code for the receiving end.

How do I receive the form data posted from the other website?  Can I access the $_POST[''] array as I would with any normal same-site POST transaction?

Please let me know if you need additional detail or if my question wasn't clear! I'm fast approaching deadlines and really appreciate your help!

My website asks for an email address when one registers but I want to put a limit it on it (like to register you gotta have an email address from a specific domain). How can I edit the form input to do this?

The attached code works perfect for me. This code displays data from my mysql database in a browser & allows me to edit it, then re-submit it to the mysql database. Again, all of this works great.

I was wondering if there was a way way for me to add some code to this existing code that would send me an email with the information in the form when the submit button is clicked? Nothing fancy....I'd just like to get an email based off of the location, for example if the location is changed from "Office1" to "Office2", I'd like the email to go to office2@mail.com. If "Office3" is entered, I'd like the form info to go to office3@mail.com.

Is this possible?
