PHP - How To Change A Folder Name That Appears In The Web Browser Field

I have a search function in php where the text characters are matched to characters in a tables field--- works perfectly....
I need to make the input box have a droplist of words from database, this is also easy for me to do. the problem here is there is no definitive value! the options list always outputs a blank in the url---

its supposed to search a matching value and then output the matching value to url...

Here is the droplist code:

I want to copy everything in templates/blue to the folder code/

However:

shell_exec("cp -r 'templates/blue' 'code'");

Creates a folder called blue inside code. I tried cp -r 'templates/blue/*' 'code', but that didn't do anything.

Any ideas?

This is my first real jump into PHP, I created a small script a few years ago but have not touched it since (or any other programming for that matter), so I'm not sure how to start this.

I need a script that I can run once a day through cron and take the date from one table/filed and insert it into a different table/field, converting the human readable date to a Unix date.

Table Name: Ads
Field: endtime_value (human readable date)

to

Table Name: Node
Field: auto_expire (Converted to Unix time)

Both use a field named "nid" as the key field, so the fields should match each nid field from one table to the next.  Following a tutorial I have been able to insert into a field certain data, but I don't know how to do it so the nid's match and how to convert the human readable date to Unix time.  Thanks in advance!.

When I access the site, the browser states: This Connection is Untrusted


Questions... Does not the actual VirtualHost extend the _default_ VirtualHost?  Why is SSLEngine on required in both (seems to have error when I remove it in the actual VirtualHost)?  Should the keys be in the _default_ VirtualHost, or the actual one, or both?  Seems like some of the directives needs to be in both which surprised me as I thought one was extended off the other. When is SSLCertificateFile and SSLCACertificateFile required?  Why the difference? Why the errors and untrusted connection?   Thank you

When I run this code every time it is run in a firefox browser it seems to run twice and it records 2 entires, I have tried different machines and also different versions of FF but each time I run this. in my log file I see the following

Hi:
I'm going crazy trying to do the following:
I'm making a job registration process where the user registers on one php page to the website, must acknowlege and email receipt using an activate php page, then is directed to upload their C.V. (resume) based on the email address they enter in the active page output. I then run an upload page to store the resume in teh MySQL db based on the users email address in the same record.

If I isolate the process of the user registering to the db, it works perfectly.
If I isolate the file upload process into the db, it works perfect.
I simply cannot upload teh file to the existing record based on teh email form field matching the user_email field in the db.
With the processes together, teh user is activated, but teh file is not uploaded.

Maybe I've simply been at this too long today, but am compeled to get through it by end day.
If anyone can help sugest a better way or help me fix this, I will soo greatly appreciate it.

I have php code that searched for results of properties from my MYSQL database, but how can i position it and style it with font and colours etc? any help will be appreciated,thanks.

I'm working on a pair of scripts that (among other tasks) download a file to the user's browser. It's not working right, and I'm having trouble figuring out why.

The overall design is: the first script (I'll call it one.php) contains a form which displays a list of radio buttons representing actions that the site can perform. The user clicks a radio button, then a "submit" button. This loads two.php, which determines what action the the user selected, performs the action, and loads a page that contains another form. This form has a couple of "submit" buttons; one reloads one.php, and the other goes elsewhere.

Everything works right except when the user selects the "download a file" option. In that case two.php downloads the file (and that part works perfectly), then -- nothing. The page defined in two.php never appears. The browser just sits displaying the page from one.php as it was when the submit button was clicked.

I played with the code and found that if I comment out all of the download headers, so that the browser gets the raw contents of the downloaded file followed by an HTML page, the browser does just what I'd expect: it displays the file (represented as a stream of semi-binary garbage), followed by an HTML page. Something in the download headers is upsetting it... but I can't figure out what.

"$new_array2" has only 12 digit numbers for each item in the array, and I want to match them to the "field_item_id_value" field in the table, updating the "field_expire_value" field for the record where they match.  I know I am close because the UPDATE code works before I add the WHERE statement (it of course adds '666' to EVERY field, but for a noobie it's a start!).

I have already an online booking form. The Form works fine now and I would like to add on one more issue, but the code ignores what I want to check. I have 4 fields: arrival, departure, no. of persons and comments to check.

Scenario 1:

All field mentioned above are emtpty: Workes fine and message appears: "You have not provided any booking details".

Scenario 2:

If arrival (date_start) and departure (date_end) is entered, there should be at least an entry either in the field "comment", or in the field "pax". If not, there should be a message: "You have not provided sufficient booking details".

INSTEAD: The booking request is sent, which should not be the case.

Right, using a mysql query the value from $event['event_Date'] prints out in a div. I need a number count of the amount of times this value is printed. any help?

I've added this code (below) to a file called uploader.php (attached).   When I simply open the corresponding html page, I see "Invalid upload file" in the top left corner of the page.
