PHP - How To Find Image Height And Width Using Php Saved As Excel?

Hi there. How can i set up a maximum width and height of a picture?

For example: the limit is 400x400. So if the photo is 200x200 then it stays that way, however if a photo is 550x550 then it gets resized to 400x400.

So, I look at the iframe code from google that should be cut and pasted into a website (obviously it's working code from google)

Now I have tried to take the code from the google iframe (width/height/scrolling/etc) and paste it into my source but it doesn't work.

Here's how I have done it.

I'm new to PHP and got a good big stuff.

I would like to write an image in excel file. There will be almost 600+ rows and each row will have url and qrcode image. I would like to write an excel file which will write url and respective image into the next cell of the url.

Is it possible to write an image in excel file? If yes, can anyone please guide me how? I have read so many post saying to use a pear package but again pear package is not allowing to write jpe/gif it only allows .bmp files. So, pear package is I don't think will work for me. I have also attached an example excel file which is showing the way I require to have an output.

Please anyone if having any idea guide me and let me know.

I'm using this code to display a picture that is uploaded in a form.

At first I tried specifying only the width, without the height. But for tall photos, the display wasn't really what I was after.

Then I specified both width and height, which results in a mis-scaled photo.

Is there any way that I can specify the height and width atributes as a sort of maximum / or limiter. Ie:  If the height is greater than the width, limit the height to 300, and if the width is greater than the height, limit the width to 300?

Im working on a market place style website. the framework im using is called elgg. it uses an algoritm to find the right approximate width and height of an image thats being uploaded. but on my site, all heights and widths must be the same. this is difficult because some pictures have much greater width than height and some have much greater height. so whats the best algoritm to use to make an accurate thumbnail of all images uploaded?

?>when I open the excel file, the images alignment is from top to bottom(equal from top of image).
what i want is from bottom to top(equal from bottom of image).

i did try using valign in td property, but still the images equal from top of image

i am currently getting an Microsoft Excel formatted text file whose save type is .Txt from a URL.I used to open it and will change the save type  as excel file. Please suggest whether we can do this with php code.

currently my code is like this,

Hi, I was in the process of making thumnails for avatars It used to work before but now the files are being saved as resource ID and not in an image format. I can not point out what the issue is and also may I add when I try to echo nothing is happening.

I'm building a website that uses session variables.  My understanding of session variables is that they only exist as long as the browser is open -- meaning that once the browser closes, the session variables are lost.  

I have a function that creates a dropdown list in a form.  The User saves their answer to the mysql table.  How do I get their preselected answer back out of the table when they visit the form again?
I know how to pull it from mysql and into a variable, but how to modify the below code to display the correct answer stumps me.

Here is my dropdown function:

I have an array(1,2,3,4) and

i make a form and make checkboxes for this array and user selects 2,3 and 4

when user submit form

then i save it in table by making selected check boxes and converting selected values into bitwise equivalent value

Now when i have to show user his selected data how will i compare table bitwise saved record with array(1,2,3,4) to get the values that he checked while saving.

I have a code that will get the value of amount from $_GET, and it adds it to an image I have stored. My problem is the that image I use is 32x32, but I need to add more height to it to make it look correct. The image is transparent so I'd need to keep that also. The code I have now works, but the value of amount is on top of the image where I don't want it to be. Here's my code.

I have a webpage where the candidates can attach their resumes  and send to the admin.These attachments are saved in the mysql db as blob datatype.In another webpage the admin needs to download all this resumes and see the content.
How will i code for that.
