The website is here http://www.rmdesignstudio.com.au/wraptinprint/quotes.php and the PHP is all on the quotes.php page. The form sends to the email but when you fill in one form (example: Business Cards) the form sends, but along with all the entered fields the email also includes all the fields in all the hidden forms that werent filled in. I believe it is because they are drop down boxes and it is sending the first option in the list which happens to be "-----Please Select-----" Is there something I should be doing to my selection input field for this not to show up? Otherwise is there something I need to add to my PHP so it checks for the fields being filled in? I dont know how to add my code to this post, so if you could either show me or view my code via view source that would be awesome. hi , i have an error in my php . It will display successful only if all file being upload , if there have one file not upload . it go to blankpage not tell any error or success.I have file that being upload to different path folder

Friends, I developed a script in php & i tested the script before encoding & its working fine. After i encoded the script through ionCube PHP Encoder & uploaded in my server but the file shows only blank page. Its not executing after encoding. What is the problem ?? How to fix it ? I have a php script on a server writing to an html file on a remote server. I'm using the following combination of fopen and fputs. The problem is that once out of maybe every 10 or 15 writes to the file, the file that is written is blank with nothing in it. Has anyone here had experience with this before? The file is fixed the next time it writes to it. this code is within a loop that runs every 10 seconds. Code: [Select] // Allows overwriting of existing files on the remote FTP server $stream_options = array('ftp' => array('overwrite' => true)); // Creates a stream context resource with the defined options $stream_context = stream_context_create($stream_options); // Opens the file for writing and truncates it to zero length if ($fh = fopen($ftp_path, 'w',0, $stream_context)) { if ( $change > 0 ) fputs($fh, "the contents of the html file is here"); //the case if change is positive else fputs($fh, "the contents of the html file is here"); //the case if change is negative // Closes the file handle fclose($fh); } else { die('Could not open file.'); } Hey everyone. I have a form that is working fine. Basically it will upload files to an email address. The files do arrive at the email address, but the problem is that they show up as 0KB in my inbox. Photos, text docs etc., that I upload via the form are arriving in my email at 0KB for some reason. I know the code is messy, but hopefully someone can figure out why the files are uploading as 0KB. **Please see attached code Hi Guys, I'm using the following code to write emails to a .txt file: // Write the email to file $leadsFile = "leads/emails.txt"; $fh = fopen($leadsFile, 'a') or die ("can't open leads file!"); $writeData = "$conEM\r\n"; fwrite($fh, $writeData); fclose($fh); which works great, but i can't figure out how to NOT write an email to the .txt file if it's already on it, i'm not using a database for a change i'm stumped lol thanks for any help guys Graham Hi All, I don't really need help with the code, I just need to know the process... This will take place in a simple form. The user enters the payment information and checks off 'Send Receipt' option. From there, the payment data is stored in the DB. Then, I need to have a PDF generated of the receipt and finally email the tenant with confirmation and the PDF that was created. Once the data is inserted, I can use fPDF to merge the data to the PDF document I created. That part I don't understand is how to automatically save that file and attach it to an email. Ideas / suggestions? Does anyone know of a way to use PHP to create and email a HTML file? I was attempting to use the standard PHP mail function to pass a HTML string to the message variable, but mail clients have a pretty hard time rendering HTML/CSS correctly. My thought was, if I could take my HTML string and turn it into a file and attach it to a email message the user would be able to open the file in there default browser which would render without issues. Just for the record my HTML string also contains PHP variables, so it must be processes before being sent. So far my research suggests using the PEAR library for sending mail with attachments, but I am only finding literature on how to attach a file already existing on the server to an email message. I am having trouble finding a way to create a HTML file on the fly and attach it to an email message. Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there a different way to accomplish what I am attempting to do here? How to attach any file type to an email using php mail() It should attach any file that you select. What would be the Content-type: value? Thanks! Hello I'm completely new with php and need some help. Basically I'm at a level that I can tweak it but I'm still learning on how to write it. I have a form within an html page. This form has multiple text inputs and a upload button. Once the user hits the submit button it triggers the mailer.php. I've done tons of searches online today and in forums and people keep mentioning php mailer as a good tool. I looked into this and was confused on how to implement it. I don't need the info sent to a database, just emailed. The uploaded file just needs to be sent to a temp directory and then deleted after the file is emailed. The inputs would be in the body of the email and the uploaded file would be attached. This is the php code I'm working with for a starting point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Code: [Select] <?PHP $to = "email@email.com"; $subject = "New Employee Application"; $headers = "From:" . $from; $forward = 1; $location = ""; $date = date ("l, F jS, Y"); $redirect = "../thanks.html"; $msg = "New Employee Application. It was submitted on $date.\n\n"; if ($_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] == "POST") { foreach ($_POST as $key => $value) { $msg .= ucfirst ($key) ." : ". $value . "\n"; } } else { foreach ($_GET as $key => $value) { $msg .= ucfirst ($key) ." : ". $value . "\n"; } } mail($to, $subject, $msg, $headers); if ($forward == 1) { header ("Location: $redirect"); } else { echo "Your application has been sent."; } ?> Hi all, I am quite new to PHP and MySql. I know how to upload a file a and save the path in the DB, but now I need to send an automatic email to the user when a new invoice is added to his directory. Please help. Thanks Hi I'm not a coder so don't know how to write this myself. I'm very much of the copy and paste type. Basically I want a file to be downloaded and an email sent when either a link is clicked or a submit button is pressed. This is so that when a particular file hosted on my site (a pdf) is downloaded I am alerted to this by an email notification. Can anyone help me out with this? I assume that this can be done with PHP and MySQL but am open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help Stephen Hey guys, Just lately I have been trying to start a specific project for myself. I started off by designing the pages etc on HTML, and then a friend of mine helped me convert them to PHP.
At the moment, when a user registers to the site, they only require to enter a Username and Password. I would like to add their email to it too, due to adding slightly extra security. It would also be used for future reasons such as sending emails out etc.
I'm not sure about adding this, I know that most likely it is going to be VERY similar to how it already is, but I couldn't seem to get it to work when I tried.
Ill give the coding which I am using for this below (the documents which I believe would need editing) :
Register.php
<?php require($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/TruckWorld/includes/config.php'); $sOutput .= '<div id="register-body">'; if (isset($_GET['action'])) { switch (strtolower($_GET['action'])) { case 'register': // If the form was submitted lets try to create the account. if (isset($_POST['username']) && isset($_POST['password'])) { if (createAccount($_POST['username'], $_POST['password'])) { $sOutput .= '<h1>Account Created</h1><br />Your account has been created. You can now login <a href="login.php">here</a>.'; }else { // unset the action to display the registration form. unset($_GET['action']); } }else { $_SESSION['error'] = "Username and or Password was not supplied."; unset($_GET['action']); } break; } } // If the user is logged in display them a message. if (loggedIn()) { $sOutput .= '<h2>Already Registered</h2> You have already registered and are currently logged in as: ' . $_SESSION['username'] . I've been reading you need to tell the php to put it to a temporary file from the submit.. then move it to the file name and then somehow include that file name in the php email back. So maybe a url and its private or htaccess? or does it get included as attachment in the mail? Im not sure if i should be using 'id' or 'name' in the html form etc and how to tie it together. Any help or guides much appreciated. Thanks Wolfsta I am attempting to get my email form with file attachment to work. Apparently the file is not reaching getting to the validation portion of the page I have switched $_FILES['X'] on line 203 from file to fakefile as they are labeled in the form also I am employing css hacks to change the input file upload field to have a custom button example -> http://visualrealityink.com/dev/clients/arzan/snell_form_final/form.php here is my code I appreciate any help Code: [Select] <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <style> #form_container{ display:block; position:absolute; width:610px; min-height:450px; background:#f8f8f8; padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:14px; } #form { min-height:450px; width:100%; background:#ececec; padding:0 0 0 0; } #formheader { background:url(images/form2_08.png) no-repeat #2f2f2f; margin:0 0 0 0; padding:0 0 0 0; width:631; height:30px;} form{margin:35px 0 0 35px;} fieldset div { margin:0.3em 0; clear:both; } label { float:left; width:10em; text-align:left; margin-right:1em; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:14px; } input { padding:0.15em; margin:0 0 0 -110px; width:300px; background:url(images/inputbg.png) no-repeat; border:0px solid #ddd; background:#fafafa; -moz-border-radius:0.4em; -khtml-border-radius:0.4em; } .bg2{background:url(images/inputbg.png) no-repeat; height:28px; line-height:28px;} fieldset { border:0px solid #ddd; padding:0 0.5em 0.5em; margin:0 0 0 -100px; } #details{font-size:10px;} #logo{background:url(images/form2_11.png) no-repeat; width:189px; height:238px; margin:-200px 0 0 400px; position:absolute;} #submit{margin:14px 0 0 -5px; border:none; position:absolute; cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;} #reset{border:none; margin:14px 0 0 115px; position:absolute; cursor:pointer; cursor:hand; } #divinputfile{ background:url(images/form2_27.png) no-repeat 100% 1px; height:43px; line-height:43px; width:340px; }#divinputfile #filepc{ opacity: 0.0; -moz-opacity: 0.0; filter: alpha(opacity=00); font-size:18px; margin:0 0 0 0; cursor:hand; cursor:pointer; } #fakeinputfile{ margin-top:-28px; } #fakeinputfile #fakefilepc{ background:url(images/inputbg2.png) no-repeat; style:none; width:240px; height:28px; line-height:28px; border:0; margin:5px 0 0 0; font-size:18px; font-family:Arial; } button { cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; padding: 0px; margin: 0 0 0 0; } a.link_button{ cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; } .fileupload{ margin:0 0 0 50px; } input[type="file"] { cursor: pointer; } .error{font-size:9px; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#F00; } .error ul { text-decoration: none; list-style: none; } .error li { color: #F00;} .captcha_form { margin: 0 0 0 -45px; width:235px; } #captchaimage{ padding:0 0 10px 0;} .small { font-size:9px;} </style> </head> <body> <?php if ($_POST['_submit_check']) { // If validate_form( ) returns errors, pass them to show_form( ) if ($form_errors = validate_form()) { show_form($form_errors); } else { // The submitted data is valid, so process it process_form(); } } else { // The form wasn't submitted, so display show_form(); } function show_form($errors = '') { // If the form is submitted, get defaults from submitted parameters if ($_POST['_submit_check']) { $defaults = $_POST; } else { // Otherwise, set our own defaults: medium size and yes to delivery $defaults = array('IssueDate' => '','ExpiryDate' => ''); } if ($errors) { $error_text = 'You need to correct the following errors:'; $error_text .= '<br /><ul>'; $error_text .= implode('<li>',$errors); $error_text .= '</li></ul>'; } else { // No errors? I'm up to the last part. I have the form working and emailing. It also will upload an image by itself and put it in a folder. Now i just need to tie those together and have the image put in the email as an attachment then deleted from server. I have it at a stage where it sends me the users details.. and it tries to send the photo but it comes through as junk txt. I think its the MIME encoding stuff that I have wrong.. not sure? Here's what I have so far. Code: [Select] $attachment = $path_of_uploaded_file; $fileatt = $attachment; // Path to the file $fileatt_type = "application/octet-stream"; // File Type $start= strrpos($attachment, '/') == -1 ? strrpos($attachment, '//') : strrpos($attachment, '/')+1; $fileatt_name = substr($attachment, $start, strlen($attachment)); // Filename that will be used for the file as the attachment $file = fopen($fileatt,'rb'); $data = fread($file,filesize($fileatt)); fclose($file); $semi_rand = md5(time()); $mime_boundary = "==Multipart_Boundary_x{$semi_rand}x"; $headers = "\nMIME-Version: 1.0\n" . "Content-Type: multipart/mixed;\n" . " boundary=\"{$mime_boundary}\""; $email_message .= "This is a multi-part message in MIME format.\n\n" . "--{$mime_boundary}\n" . "Content-Type:text/html; charset=\"iso-8859-1\"\n" . "Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit\n\n" . $data = chunk_split(base64_encode($data)); $email_message .= "--{$mime_boundary}\n" . "Content-Type: {$fileatt_type};\n" . " name=\"{$fileatt_name}\"\n" . "Content-Disposition: attachment;\n" . " filename=\"{$fileatt_name}\"\n" . "Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64\n\n" . $data . "\n\n" . "--{$mime_boundary}--\n"; // create email headers $headers .= 'From: '.$email_from."\r\n". 'Reply-To: '.$email_from."\r\n" . 'X-Mailer: PHP/' . phpversion(); @mail($email_to, $email_subject, $email_message, $headers); Thanks Wolfsta i wanting users to be able to update there email address and check to see if the new email already exists. if the email is the same as current email ignore the check. i have no errors showing up but if I enter a email already in the db it still accepts the new email instead of bringing the back the error message. Code: [Select] // email enterd from form // $email=$_POST['email']; $queryuser=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM members WHERE inv='$ivn' ") or die (mysql_error()); while($info = mysql_fetch_array( $queryuser )) { $check=$info['email']; // gets current email // } if($check!=$email){ // if check not equal to $email check the new email address already exists// $queryuser=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM members WHERE email='$email' "); //$result=mysql_query($sql); $checkuser=mysql_num_rows($queryuser); if($checkuser != 0) { $error= "0"; header('LOCATION:../pages/myprofile.php?id='.$error.''); } } cheers |
