PHP - Get Instant Payment Notification (ipn) Data Into Php Variable

Trying to make it so people need a active session in order to access the page after the log in page and if they dont then it redirects them back to the log in page.
My session works fine. I tested and made sure.
it saves the user_id lets me display the page

but how do I keep someone from simply going to the webpage with out loging in?
Just a simple if statment checking if lastactive is empty or not? is that secure?

Pretty frustrated with this. It seems so simple, but I've been staring at it and toying with it for ages, so I figured I'd post here. I have a variable called "$isTaken" that seems to be losing its value in an essential step in my function. Take a look.

I have 2 sites.  1 site is a store the other is a blog.
The homepage of the store shows random product images.  Each image links to it's product page.

I'm using the code below to get data from the store homepage into a variable:

The problem is that I do not know on how to get the specific resource (URL) the client tried to access into the email, which I'd also like (e.g. more referrer information). The IP address is no problem though. Any ideas?

hey guys im interested in the jquery notification scripts...where a user registers and then gets redirected to homepage where a notification pops up saying "thank you for registering".   now ive looked at a few examples online but im clueless to how each individiual notification pops up is it activated by the refering url?   would be good to know...but thats the only way to me that makes sense on how it works.   thank you

Helo, I am new here. I have a simple  " Like " plugin for Vanilla Forums which does it work nicely. Sadly, it won't sent notifications when someone likes our post. I have another plugin from the same author which gives notifications on Profile-Like aka Kick/Poke. I am trying to use the notification part of the Kick plugin ( which I modified at my best to " Like ") added to the " Like " plugin so that I will able to provide notifications to post-authors on receiving  a " Like ". I have created a GitHub repo with my attempt so far. It would be nice if someone can help me find a final solution. Thanks

Hello, forgive me if I didn't title this properly. I will try to make this short and sweet and explain it the best I can. I have a script I wrote that uses SimpleXML to parse data and that part works fine. Only problem is the data is kind of construed from the XML feed and I need to convert it to a more real world calculation. The script parses XML for lake level data. The problem is it returns conservation pool levels. The problem with that is lakes are not 400+ feet deep. As it is set up now the XML contains full pool and the current level. From that I display the full pool and the current levels. It then takes the full pool minus the current level to create two new variables, departure I.E. how low or high it is over full pool, then also create % full. The calculations are fine but, since it is basing it off conservation pool I need to translate this to display it in a more known way. What I am wanting to do is hard set the variable for full pool for the actual lake depth. I still need to use the full pool variable to calculate the rest even though I won't be showing that data. So full pool - minus current level to create the departure as it does. Then take the departure variable that was created and subtract/add it from the hard set lake depth to give me the actual new depth of the lake.   I.E.   $a +/- $b = $c   then   $c +/- $d = $e   I hope this makes sense. What I am trying to do is really simple. I am just not good at really explaining things and trying to comprehend how this needs to be laid out and the logic for it. If you need more info or the code I am working with  please let me know. So how could I go about doing this?   -Thanks
