PHP - How We Can Generate Android App / Iphone App From Web Server Using Php
I want to build a online "app builder" project that users can create android / iphone applications online without any coding knowledge. These sites are very common in market. They offer onclick app builder. I have skill in development of web applications using php frameworks. My question is How we can generate android apk from our server after getting the necessary information from user? (Appname, icon, packagename etc) PHP can do this entire task?, if yes any framework for that? Can you give me some basic tips to generate apk from our server? Can we genrate both android and iphone app from one single code? What are the requirements needed for the server? Anybody having skills in these areas, please help me. I need basic tips to get started this project. The issue is that the file is not being generated on my server. With the current code the entries are being recognized and being placed in the filename of the csv. The point is not to make it downloadable sinds I want to have it on my webserver and keep editing information in it. My code is top of this post. My .php file replies that: Cannot open file: BOD10Buffer.csv Pardon my sloppy code everyone, I am not really a person that codes but this "form" may save me a lot of time in the longrun, just difficult and I am asking for help on this. Is there anyone that may be kind enough to help me? and as to what I might be doing wrong? All help is much appreciated! Good morning! I was wondering how can i access the php data to the health data (steps, heart rate etc ..) of devices with android and ios? I don't know maybe by inserting the keys I can access the json with the related data... I tried to search a bit on the internet but I see that I can only do it if I create an app for both systems and then from there I enter the data in my mysql database.. I don't know where to start, do you know something? Thank you As mention in my title, I am using wordpress, bought a theme and the support team is not able to assist me without the FTP access.

I have php code that uses mp3 audio files stored in a database for the user to listen to. The page loads and the audio controls work and the files play on a desktop and laptop just fine. When trying to play a file on an android or IPhone, when you press the play (or any other control) nothing happens. It acts like the page is static. There is a home button on the webpage and it works so I know the page is interactive. Below is the code. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
<?php I inherrited a site that has PHP code that decides to either serve the dedicated mobile site or desktop site to the user. I would prefer that tablets get served the mobile site. Currently Android tablet users get served the desktop site. I'd like to figure out how I can implement User Agent to detect an android tablet (with distinction from an Android phone) This is the code I'm working with to determine which site to serve (mobile or desktop) Thanks if ((strpos($user_agent, 'Mobile') === false && // Generic mobile browser string, most browsers have it. strpos($user_agent, 'SymbianOS') === false && // Nokia device running Symbian OS. strpos($user_agent, 'Opera M') === false && // Opera Mini or Opera Mobile. strpos($user_agent, 'Android') === false && // Android devices that don't have 'Mobile' in UA string. stripos($user_agent, 'HTC_') === false && // HTC devices that don't have 'Mobile' nor 'Android' in UA string. Case insensitive. strpos($user_agent, 'Fennec/') === false && // Firefox mobile strpos($user_agent, 'Kindle') === false && // Kindle Fire tablet strpos($user_agent, 'BlackBerry') === false) || // BlackBerry strpos($user_agent, 'iPad') === false) // iPad { // Serve Desktop Site return false; } I have a little php site that looks up data in my crm database quickly and easily on my iphone. Right now it's wide open because I'm in and out of it all day and trying to input uid/pw into a secure login page is a pain in the rear. (we're not talking about sensitive data here and I'm the only user.) So, I would like to design a screen with several large graphic buttons and be able to touch those buttons in a specific sequence that would functionally allow a secure login. Similar in concept to the android screen lock. You touch a sequence of numbered buttons and voila, the screen unlocks. It does not open a text field for data entry into two separate fields. So if my access code was 1,2,3,4 and the screen was divided into quarters with a large number on each one, I would touch the buttons in that order and it would open the main page. How would this best be accomplished? Is there a php function to essentially build a variable through successive key presses? then with a final submit it would just check that against a "secret code" and allow access. Thanks for any input. Hi, I am new trying to make a simple test iPhone app that reads data from a MySql server via php get method. As a test I used a 'film' database but soon realised that if the get method contains two words '%20' is added to the middle. As a workaround, I tried: if (strpos($_GET['film'], '%20') !==false) $film = str_replace("%20", " ", $_GET['film']; else $_GET[film]=$film; and then appending $film to the end of my sql query. I have tried many variations of this but cannot get it to work! Any advice would be much appreciated. Niall I have a PHP web system that store in a windows server. In the system, there is a function for user to upload files to another server (Shared server in Unix). When i try to upload a file, it gives warning: Warning: move_uploaded_file(\\unixserver/sharedfolder/upload/test.txt) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\wamp\www\upload\index.php on line 40 For your information, my username has been assigned in xxx's group that has access to read and write on that folder. Besides, i'm able to open, create and delete files on that folder's server manually (samba). The safe mode setting is off. Does anybody has any idea why this thing happen? I'm trying to make a simple website where people register to my website. When the user doesn't fill anything inside the boxes they get a message "Please fill all required fields" on the register.php page On my local host require_once works good. It shows up.

I have spent many hours on this. Regards Is it possible to retrieve a visitor's iPhone device id? If so, how? If it's not possible, do all iPhones accept cookies? Hi folks, I'm curious if I can for example, save a file from my server and it will save to all other servers - obviously if they accepted the connection first. It's for a software I developed and is almost complete and know there will be frequent updates to it. Instead of users downloading upates, I want the update files from my server to somehow synchronize to their server automatically? Anything called this?? Thanks for info. Hello, I have a very big problem with stolen data and i don't know how to STOP that. The situation : I have a website where i spend lot of time to register events and info on events (something like www.CoolEvents.com) Users can log in and then comment events, and do others actions when logged. The PROBLEM : Someone created AN IPHONE APPLICATION that is an EXACT copy of my website, and is name CoolEvent App !!! Same infos, same comments, and you can log in via this app (parsing my site) and post comment on my website ! It's horrible for me, because 40% of my users now used this application (who earn money by displaying advertising). So i losed 40% of visitors !!! Without using legal channels, how can i STOP an IPHONE APP to parse my website or to acces to my website ? Do you know a TECHNICAL solution to prevent an APP to PARSE and then copy my website ? At least, is it possible to made it IMPOSSIBLE to log in to my website (and so be able to post comment on my site) by using this APP ? Thanks for your help !! Hello guys, hope you are doing good. I urgently need your help at a point where I am stuck. I have created this form and applied some css to it. If I am viewing that form using Google Chrome, it looks perfectly fine but when I am viewing it using IE9 or Mozilla or viewing it on my iPhone, the whole border, button etc. gets messed up. I want to put this code (or something like that) in my index.php to redirect the iPhones etc.
But where do I have to put it in? In the head or body?? And how can I call this function?
Thanks a lot for helping a beginner!
function ismobile(){ $useragent = $_SERVER[‘HTTP_USER_AGENT’]; // Standard vendor-model/version user agents if(preg_match(‘/^((ACER¦Alcatel¦AUDIOVOX¦BlackBerry¦CDM¦Ericsson¦LG\b¦LGE¦Motorola¦MOT¦NEC¦Nokia¦Panasonic¦QCI¦SAGEM¦SAMSUNG¦SEC¦Sanyo¦Sendo¦SHARP¦SIE¦SonyEricsson¦Telit¦Telit_mobile_Terminals¦TSM)[- ]?([^\/\s\_]+))(\/(\S+))?/’, $useragent)){ return true; }else{ return false; } } This topic has been moved to CSS Help. http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php?topic=347457.0 Following a tutorial on udemy, i tried to learn the very basics of mvc structure. I built the same project on my local server and it worked without giving me any error. but when i tried it on live server. its not working as it should. not showing any error. I tried to figure out the problem and found that for every page loading, it stops at the same line in my main.php file. <?php require($view); ?> starting from the above line. it stops. i came here to share my problem but i am unable to upload my files here. if there is a way to upload and share my files, please guide. zip file size of the whole project is 31.6 kb This isn't exactly an application design question, but rather a system design one.
I am about to install an Inventory Control System inside this store I work in.
The store itself also owns a Linode VPS running Centos 6.4 which hosts our website.
This new Inventory System will come built in with a Microsoft SQL Server, and supposedly it is a SQL Anywhere database, but I'm not too sure what that means.
I need to make this database publicly accessible, but only via the Linode VPS. Surely, setting restrictions is easy enough to address that issue. That isn't my question.
My first idea is to put this server into the DMZ, easy. But it doesn't exactly sound safe. So my next idea was to put a middleman server in the DMZ, this way the Linode can send queries to that middleman server and it will send that data to the SQL Server and back. This is very vaguely described I know, but I don't want to get too much into details, but rather, understand how I can create that middleman server, and what could Install onto it that would allow me to securely process queries?
My first thought was to install a webservice, that accepts an XML/JSON request and returns an XML/JSON response.
Then, I realized directly afterwards that I don't have any experience setting up a webservice like that.
What kind of options are there out there? Ultimately, my question is, should I just put the Server in the DMZ or should I create the middleman, and if so, can someone point me in the right direction as to getting a webservice set up? Edited by Zane, 15 July 2014 - 11:28 PM. I tried both of these articles, I have a windows 8.1 tablet and both of the different "codes" worked but I tried my friend's iPhone and the camera viewport is just a black square or doesn't show at all... the problem seems to be that the pop up where you push "allow" or "deny" doesn't show up at all, this makes me think the trigger isn't "triggered".
These are the sites
I'm using HTML5 and Javascript, didn't do much modifcation yet, I just needed the basic web cam access, cropping, saving functions at the moment.
