PHP - Sending Data To Paypal Sandbox
Hi all,
This is driving me insane! Basically I am simply trying to setup a reoccurring payment, in live and sandbox I get an error once I submit login details Code: [Select] The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again. The code I am sending to paypal is: header("location: https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr? cmd=_xclick-subscriptions& business=sandbox@minecraftclan.com& item_name=Item1& a3=3.00& p3=30& t3=D"); My sandbox account is 'sandbox@minecraftclan.com', I really cant see what the issue is! It will show the payment screen, but error occours after logging in with sandbox details, the same if I run to the live site and use an real paypal account Any ideas? EDIT: This iswhat a view source on the error page looks like: s.prop1="xpt/Merchant/hostedpayments/Error"; s.prop6="6FW885512W222534S"; s.prop7="Personal"; s.prop8="Verified"; s.prop9="Unrestricted"; s.prop10="US"; s.prop14="The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again."; s.prop16=""; s.prop34="PayPalCredit:Servicing:CO:NoTransactions"; s.prop15=""; s.pageName="xpt/Merchant/hostedpayments/Error::_flow"; s.prop50="en_US"; s.prop18=""; That mean anything to anyone?! Similar TutorialsHi guys I am now current trying to implement Paypal sandbox in my website for testing. I used the form generated by Paypal and it worked. However, I wish to make it more secure by verifying the POST details against my database first before posting to Paypal. I have read on the internet for a few days and download a few sample codes to try out, however I still dun understand how it works. The thing I read on is IPN (Instant Payment Notification) for Paypal. Am I reading the right thing? If I am can anyone help me out cause I do not really understand part of it.
Hi, is there something wrong with my code ? Code: [Select] <form action="https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" <?php if(empty($_SESSION['cart'])){echo "onsubmit=\"return false;\"";} ?>> <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_cart" /> <input type="hidden" name="upload" value="1" /> <input type="hidden" name="business" value="<?=$ppemail['email']?>" /> <?php $i = 1; foreach($_SESSION['cart'] as $id => $qty): $product = $myCart->getProduct($id); ?> <input type="hidden" name="item_name_<?php echo $i; ?>" value="<?php echo $product['ProductName']; ?>"> <input type="hidden" name="item_number_<?php echo $i; ?>" value="<?php echo $product['ProductID']; ?>"> <input type="hidden" name="amount_<?php echo $i; ?>" value="<?php echo $product['ProductOverridePrice']; ?>"> <input type="hidden" name="quantity_<?php echo $i; ?>" value="<?php echo $qty; ?>"> <?php $i++; endforeach; ?> <input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD"> <input type="hidden" name="lc" value="US"> <input type="hidden" name="rm" value="2"> <input type="hidden" name="shipping_1" value="<?php echo $shipping; ?>"> <input type="hidden" name="return" value="<?php echo $the_class->settings[0]['DomainName'];?>shopping-cart-details.php"> <input type="hidden" name="cancel_return" value="<?php echo $the_class->settings[0]['DomainName'];?>"> <input type="hidden" name="notify_url" value="<?php echo $the_class->settings[0]['DomainName'];?>classes/paypal.php"> <input type="image" src="images/continue-btn.png" name="pay now" value="pay" /> while cart is not empty, I tested it locally and it worked fine.. but when I tested it on a live server, sandbox says, your cart is empty, even if it's not empty at all.. any ideas why is this happening ? Hi there. This forum has been great so far. I got couple of questions answered here. Now I am working on a PHP web form where Suppliers list their products for customers to buy. A customer can buy Product 1 from Supplier A and Product 2 from Supplier B and when the customer checks out through Paypal, the payment for Product 1 should go to Suppplier A and similarly the payment for Product 2 should go the Supplier B's email ID. I thinks its straight forward and How can we do that? Can you please guide me in the right direction. Thank you! hey gang: i have a number of variables stored in the $_SESSION array and wanted to know how i can keep them handy for use AFTER PayPal has done it's thing. to help clarify, the desired process here is client fills out form. clicks PayPal button. form data is then used to create some documents which are then sent to client. i have the flow working but without the PayPal part because i'm not sure how to preserve the form data while PayPal does it's thing so i can use it when PayPal is done. am i making sense? i'd like to steer away from client-side cookies because of security issues and our paranoid client insists on it... bah. first the JSON shuffle from JavaScript to PHP and now this PayPal mess. any help is MOST welcome. TIA! WR! I'm trying to set up paypal payment processing on my website. I have godaddy shared hosting (<--mistake) and I'm trying my hardest to not switch hosts. The payments process fine, it is the listener that I'm having problems with. Paypal POSTs data to a script for which you set the url to a "listener" script in your settings. When a payment is made.... they POST the data to the listener script... you encode the data...append it all together plus another variable and send it back to be verified that it matches... Well I'm not too worried about the script working and all that... the problem is I'm not even RECEIVING the post. I have a simple foreach loop gather and append the data into a string. I have it set up right now to insert into MYSQL just so I can SEE if it's working....You can check your IPN history and I can see that payments are made but paypal is sending it over and over it's in a "retrying" state with a 408 error. My server is not sending a 200ok response. After 4 days of bashing my head against the wall I figured out that there's a problem with godaddy shared hosting.. If I use a virtual private server with the SAME script from godaddy it works just fine. But on the shared hosting it blocks it for some reason...After calling paypal and godaddy countless times with them pointing their finger at each other... one godaddy support rep tells me that I should set my script up with a proxy and he gave me info which I will show you in the script... This is what I need help with right. How can I receive POST data through a proxy in my script.... I want to add that this doesn't make sense to me because in my script I also have the word "yes" insert into MYSQL even if the script is hit at all... All this time my script is NEVER even touched by paypal... So.. if I add this proxy stuff... how will let my script even be accessed? I'm not sure how servers work together too well to process things. It just didn't seem like the proxy thing would even help when my script can't even be accessed it seems. Any help is appreciated. Here's the simple code I'm working with: $con = mysql_connect("","","") or die(mysql_error()); $db = mysql_select_db("swellshirt",$con); $ip = "64.202.165.130"; // proxy IP <-- IP... $port = 3128; // proxy port $url_proxy = 'http://proxy.shr.secureserver.net'; // read the post from PayPal system and add 'cmd' $req = 'cmd=_notify-validate'; foreach ($_POST as $key => $value) { $value = urlencode(stripslashes($value)); $req .= "&$key=$value"; } mysql_query("INSERT INTO orders (description, street) VALUES ('$req', 'yes') ") or die(mysql_error()); Here is something i dreamt up, i know there is a way for this to work, but i'm not having any great ideas at this point. I want to be able to auto increment through the $_POST[] array data sent from a PayPal IPN. Sample return data looks like item_number1=val item_name1=val so on and so forth. The idea is: While there are $_POST item_numbers, do something with it. The loop continues until there are no more item_numbers. I don't want to use the static methods eg: explicitly defining item_number1, item_number2, ect. This is what i thought would work, but keeps failing -> the script doesn't enter the first condition: $x = 1; // set the initial item number while(isset($_POST['item_number$x'])){ $qty = $_POST['quantity$x']; while($qty > 0){ // step through each item response result, setting each item to paid $package_id = $_POST['item_number$x']; update_paid_status($transaction_id, $package_id); $qty--; } $x++; } Any Ideas? Hi there, Everyday I run a php script on a database to extract certain information I need and save to a text file. I then need to be able to send this file to another server without needing for manual intervention. i.e. the script will integrate sending the file to another server. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get started? Thanks! I'm terrible at getting my question clear, but this is my last try. I got this which gets sent when clicking the button; echo"Auto/Prijs<br><br><select name='autos'>"; echo"<br><br>"; $sql = "SELECT `garage`.`id`, `car_id`, `schade`, `naam`, `prijs` FROM `garage` LEFT JOIN `cars` ON (`garage`.`car_id` = `cars`.`id`) WHERE `user_id`=".ID." ORDER BY `id` ASC LIMIT ".($page * 10).", 10"; $sql = mysql_query($sql) or die(mysql_error()); $i = 1; while($res = mysql_fetch_assoc($sql)){ echo" <option value='".$res['car_id']."'>".$res['naam']."</option><br> ";This is a dropdown, showing carnames instead of car_id's. Now, the car_id is not unique, but refers to a car. The 'id' in the 'garage' table IS unique. Am I able to like call the 'id' too, and on sending check if that ID is actually the sent 'car_id'? Because, you can tamper the sent car_id and simply change it. This happens on sending: if(isset($_POST['start'])){ $prijs = $_POST['prijs']; $carr = $_POST['autos']; $sql = mysql_query("SELECT `id` FROM `automarkt` WHERE `seller_id`=".ID." LIMIT 1") or die(mysql_error()); mysql_query("INSERT INTO `automarkt`(`seller_id`, `prijs`, `car_id`) VALUES (".ID.", ".$prijs.", ".$carr.")") or die(mysql_error());I'm out of idea's, and can't get clear enough on what I need to do. I need to check if the sent car_id is actually in the 'user''s garage. (Trying to do it by checking the unique entry 'id' in the 'garage' table. I have two forms that I have created. I wonder if someone could point out where I am going wrong, all data is commented so it should be easier to understand. form1.php Code: [Select] <?php $digest = 0; $amount = 0; $trans_id = 0; $merchant = "so"; $remotepassword = "s0"; if ($_POST) { $digest_this = $_POST['trans_id'] + $_POST['amount'] + $remotepassword; //combine all my values to be md5'd $digest = md5($digest_this); //generate the md5 hash $amount = $_POST['amount']; //what I think I am doing here is posting the data so it can be retrived $trans_id = $_POST['trans_id']; //by a get request on from 2, this is where I need help $merchant = $_POST['merhcant']; $remotepassword = $_POST['remotepassword']; } // end $_POST ?> <form action="part2.php" method="post"> <p> <label for="trans_id">Invoice Number(s): </label> <input id="trans_id" type="text" name="trans_id" /><br /> <label for="amount">Amount Paying: </label> <input id="amount" type="text" name="amount" /><br /> <input value="Send" type="submit" /> <input type="reset" /> </p> </form> form2.php Code: [Select] <?php if ($_GET) { $digest = $_GET['digest']; //here I think I am retriving the data I sent with a post request $merchant = $_GET['merhcant']; //and then storing it in variables $remotepassword = $_GET['remotepassword']; $amount = $_GET['amount']; $trans_id = $_GET['trans_id']; } // end $_GET ?> <form action="https://www.secpay.com/java-bin/ValCard" method="post"> <p> <label for="firstname">First Name: </label> <input id="firstname" type="text" name="firstname" /><br /> <label for="lastname">Last Name: </label> <input id="lastname" type="text" name="lastname" /><br /> <label for="account">Account Number: </label> <input id="account" type="text" name="account" /><br /> <label for="housenumber">House Number/Name: </label> <input id="housenumber" type="text" name="housenumber" /><br /> <label for="postcode">Postcode: </label> <input id="postcode" type="text" name="postcode" /><br /> <label for="email">Email: </label> <input id="email" type="text" name="email" /><br /> <label for="notes">Notes: </label> <input id="notes" type="text" name="notes" /><br /> <!-- Here I have taken all the inputs from the form that are required to be sent --> <!-- and given the input_id names as the values required by the pay point servers --> <input name="callback" value="http://www.sol.co.uk/authorised;http://www.sol.co.uk/declined" type="hidden" /> <input name="merchant" value="<?php echo "$merhcant"; ?>" type="hidden" /> <!--here I am populating hidden fields with php script data--> <input name="remotepassword" value="<?php echo "$remotepassword"; ?>" type="hidden" /> <input name="req_cv2" value="true" type="hidden" /> <input name="options" value="test_status=true" type="hidden" /> <input name="digest" value="<?php echo "$digest"; ?>" type="hidden" /> <!-- Here I have defined all of the constant hidden values that never change --> <!-- Now in this section of the form I have defined the value that will change, combining the three fields --> <!-- that are required in order to create the digest value --> <input value="Send" type="submit" /> <input type="reset" /> </p> </form> Thanks for looking, I think its something basic im missing, first time doing this if you hadnt of guessed Hi. I am writing a web app to control Zoom Player on my HTPC. I found that ZP supports listening on a TCP port to accept control commands. The docs say to quit ZP, send 5100,fnExit + ASCII 13/10 to port 4769. My original client was C# and I implemented it there, works great. I then realized WTF am I doing using an external .EXE to just send data to a TCP port? Switched to using PHP's fsockopen. Alas, that causes an error to pop up on ZP (List index out of bounds or some such). Perplexed, I wrote a GUI for the HTPC to just display an ASCII val breakdown of what it receives to compa So it looks like they both send the data the same. Any idea why the discrepancy? Here is the code: C# that works: Code: [Select] string cmdstr = ""; for (int x=2; x<=args.Length-1; x++) cmdstr += args[x] + " "; if (SendCommand(args[0], System.Convert.ToInt16(args[1]), cmdstr.Trim() + Environment.NewLine)) Console.WriteLine("Command string sent."); Environment.Exit(0); static bool SendCommand(string dest, int port, string cmd) { try { IPAddress[] ips = Dns.GetHostAddresses(dest); TcpClient client = new TcpClient(); IPEndPoint serverEndPoint = new IPEndPoint(ips[0], port); client.Connect(serverEndPoint); NetworkStream clientStream = client.GetStream(); ASCIIEncoding encoder = new ASCIIEncoding(); byte[] buffer = encoder.GetBytes(cmd); clientStream.Write(buffer, 0, buffer.Length); clientStream.Flush(); clientStream.Close(); clientStream.Dispose(); client.Close(); return true; } catch (Exception ex) { Console.WriteLine("Failed: " + ex.Message); return false; } } The PHP that is being difficult: Code: [Select] send_data("lioth", "4769", "5100,fnExit"); function send_data($host,$port,$data='') { $fp = fsockopen($host,$port); if($fp) { fputs($fp, "$data\r\n"); fclose($fp); } return; } I've looked at various cURL tutorials and the PHP manual, but I don't see what I'm doing wrong here. My goal is to be able to send data to test.php and then have that page run a MySQL query to insert the TITLE and MESSAGE into the database. Any comments? :/ post.php <?php if(isset($_GET['title']) && isset($_GET['message']) && isset($_GET['times'])) { $array = array('title' => urlencode($_GET['title']), 'message' => urlencode($_GET['message'])); foreach($array as $key => $value) { $fields = $key.'='. $value .'&'; } rtrims($felds); //set our init handle $curl_init = curl_init(); //set our URL curl_setopt($curl_init, CURLOPT_URL, 'some url'); //set the number of fields we're sending curl_setopt($curl_init ,CURLOPT_POST, count($array)); for($i = 0; $i < $_GET['times']; $i++) { //send the POST data curl_setopt($curl_init, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $fields); curl_exec($curl_init); echo 'post #'.$i. I'm not sure how to get it to save a new file based on a variable on the form page or from one of the fields in the form. What i need is a way for a user to submit the form and it save the data into a uniquely named csv file. I know the code given is for text files, not csv, but that was about all i could find. If there is any help i would greatly appreciate it. Hi, now im fairly new to the whole data transferring with php, so i was just curious to if this is possible? Thanks D Hi, I'm new to PHP and have dabbled a little but need some help or someone to point me in the right direction if possible. I have an ajax web-form that sends the inputed data to a php file and then emails the results to the designated address (all working fine). However, what I am looking to do is have the php file (in addition to the current function) convert the data into XML and then attach the XML file to the email that is sent out. As mentioned I'm new to php and have a small amount of knowledge so any help on this would be very much appreciated. Cheers Basically what I am needing is when a visitor comes to my site and request info on a product, the form sends the product id or name.
I have the site set up like product.php?Item=26 and the item number changes based on the product. The page items are being populated with info stored in the mysql databse.
I need the email being sent to say something like
Visitors Name has requested info on Item 26 Name - Visitors Name Email - email@me.com Phone - 123-456-7890 Company - Visitors Company Item info requested for Here is the products name URL to product page Basically the "item info" is being pulled from the database. I have asked on different forums and I cannot get a good answer that I can use to make this happen. I might not be explaining it right. Page the form is on is (and all other new-product.php pages) http://www.packagingequipment4sale.com/new-product.php?Item=26Any help would be greatly appreciated This has probably been asked a bunch of times , but : I only recently started to self learn PHP , and this small project i am making is quite a challange for me. The scripts below are not realy writen by me , but i wished to tie them together to get a fully working code. What is suppose to happen is : In the form i wish to put a special button that puts extra input fields in the form. After the form is submited ,with whatever amount of feilds in it, the data goes to a processing.php file that sorts all the info gathered and finaly sends all this data formated in to the last file that will be inluded in the index.php. i already have the code for increcing the amount of inputs but the problem is , all inputs have the same names. Coz of that i get a mess. What i need is each input to have a unique name or id , that way the processing file would receive different names(id's) with different values(what ever is writen in the inputs by users). for example: I have 2 enitial fields displayed on form.html , i click the button "add new" 5 times and add 5 more input fields. All this data must be sent to a process.php and on the output write all of this information formated in the last file in a row that will be displayed in the index by useing <?include("blablabla.php");?> The input increment is done by a java script. the problem is sending data with unique id(name) and receiving it. The form file : <?include("header.php");?> <?$i = 1; ?> <script type="text/javascript"> function validate(frm) { var ele = frm.elements['feedurl[]']; if (! ele.length) { alert(ele.value); } for(var i=0; i<ele.length; i++) { alert(ele[i].value); } return true; } function add_feed() { var div1 = document.createElement('div'); // Get template data div1.innerHTML = document.getElementById('newlinktpl').innerHTML; // append to our form, so that template data //become part of form document.getElementById('newlink').appendChild(div1); } var ct = 1; function new_link() { ct++; var div1 = document.createElement('div'); div1.id = ct; // link to delete extended form elements var delLink = '<div style="text-align:right;margin-right:65px"><a href="javascript:delIt('+ ct +')">Del</a></div>'; div1.innerHTML = document.getElementById('newlinktpl').innerHTML + delLink; document.getElementById('newlink').appendChild(div1); } // function to delete the newly added set of elements function delIt(eleId) { d = document; var ele = d.getElementById(eleId); var parentEle = d.getElementById('newlink'); parentEle.removeChild(ele); } </script> <TABLE> <style> #newlink {width:600px} </style> <form action='sendorder.php' method='post'> <div id="newlink"> <div> <table align="center" border=0> <TR><TD><B>Product:</B> </TD><TD><input type=text name=prodname1 value="<?=$_GET['prodname1'];?>"> </TD> <TD><B>Price:</B> </TD><TD><input type=text name=price1 value="<?=$_GET['price1'].$curency;?>"><b>%</b></TD></TR> </table> </div> </div> <p> <br> <input type="submit" name="submit1"> <input type="reset" name="reset1"> </p> <p id="addnew"></p> <FORM> <INPUT type="button" value="Add New" name="button2" onClick="javascript:new_link()"> </FORM> </form> <!-- Template --> <div id="newlinktpl" style="display:none"> <div> <table border=0> <TR><TD><B>Product:</B> </TD><TD><input type=text name=<?$_POST[++$i];?> value="<?$_GET[$i];?>"> </TD> <TD><B>Price:</B> </TD><TD><input type=text name=<?$_POST [++$i];?> value="<?$_GET[$i].$curency;?>"> </TD></TR> </form> </TABLE> <?include("footer.php");?> in the code above i tryed to make the programm POST the numbers in the name increcing it by 1. But when i click submit i get offset error. The processing file : <? $timestamp = strftime("%d-%m-%Y %H:%M:%S %Y"); // for later use (ignore it) $i =1; #################################################################################### if(($_POST['prodname']!="")&&($_POST['price']!="")){ ############################################################ $writetocsv = $_POST['prodname1'] . "," . $_POST['price1']"%" <BR> . $_POST[$i] . $_POST[$i]; $fp = fopen("data/data.csv", "a"); fwrite ($fp,$writetocsv); fclose ($fp); echo "<script>alert('Data sent.')</script>"; } else{ echo "<script>alert('Error! Please fill the form!')</script>"; } echo "<script>location.replace('index.php')</script>"; ?> Perhaps someone knows a easyer way , since i am not sure how to make stuff due to the lack of knowlage in php. I also tryed arrays but , as said before , too tough when you are a noob Please help. So here is my code: //form.html <form action="http://localhost/lab3/index.php" method="post " > <input type="text" name="numar" value=""><br> <input type="submit" name="submitButton" value="Submit"> </form> //and in index.php ,which is in the specified folder if I write : if($_POST['numar']!="") $m=$_POST['numar']; //then I get an error saying Undefined index: numar I really read a lot about forms and saw examples , but I can't figure out what's wrong. If you have any ideas.. I usually hate to post something like this as a first post...I'd like to at least do an into but I"m stumped and I think it's a totally stupid thing I"m not noticing. Anyway, this is the final step in a three step user verification; this is for a staff user to be verified. Anyway, by now they have already verified their email and entered a random code so I"m only worried about actually setting them to verified status in my database so they can start working on blogs etc. Anyway, this form is supposed to find all unverified staff members, and allow an admin to easily just click down the list (one at a time currently) and verify the user (ie. setting their database status to verified_staffUser). The username that is supposed to be verified (or declined and therefore their entry deleted) is supposed to be passed through as $_POST[vnsupUsername]. This is set each time it loops through and prints a new user. The problem is that it's only sending the final username when I click verify/decline on any user :\. I"m not sure why it's doing this. In firebug on firefox it's showing that the user name is set for each one to be properly in the form...but when I click on it (I am having on my machine) the username being worked with echoed..and it's always the last one that was entered into the database. I have no idea why this is happening ..any thoughts? Code: [Select] <?php if(isset($_GET[vnsufac]) || isset($_POST[svnsu]) || isset($_POST[dvnsu])){ // simply prints the back home button echo "<form action=\"http://localhost/~atharp1122/OGirly_Site/ogirly_staff_homepage.php\" method=\"post\">" ."<input type=\"submit\" value=\"Back to Staff Homepage\" style=\"margin-top:10px;\">"; // this will print out the form to verify/deny all new staff user requests that have been email verified $programCheckUVStaff = mysql_query("SELECT username, email, firstname, lastname FROM staffUNAP where verified_staff = '0'"); while($UVStaff = mysql_fetch_assoc($programCheckUVStaff)){ print "<div class=\"newVerifyUserContain\" >"; print "<div class=\"newVerifyUser\" >"; echo "<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Would you like to verify this Staff request?</h3>"; echo "<table><tr><td>" ."<img src=\"images/default_icons/di_bunny_rabbit.png\" width=\"56\" height=\"59\" />" ."<ul style=\"padding-left: 100px; padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: -42px; list-style-type: none;\"><li>" ."{$UVStaff[username]} aka {$UVStaff[firstname]} {$UVStaff[lastname]}</li><li>" ."{$UVStaff[email]}</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td>" ."<form action=\"{$_SERVER[PHP_SELF]}\" method=\"post\">" ."<input type=\"checkbox\" name=\"isadmin\" value=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 10px;\">Is Admin?" ."<input type=\"hidden\" name=\"vnsupUsername\" value=\"{$UVStaff['username']}\">" ."<input type=\"submit\" name=\"svnsu\" value=\"Verify Staff\" style=\"margin-left: 200px;\">" ."<input type=\"submit\" name=\"dvnsu\" value=\"Decline Request\">"; print "</table>"; print "</div></div>"; } } // verify a staff member if(isset($_POST[svnsu])){ echo "verifying a new user"; echo $_POST[vnsupUsername]; } ?> |
