PHP - Image Upload And Email - Simple Mistake I'm Sure

I have a script that I have patched together and got to work in pieces.  I'm up to the last part.  I have the form working and emailing.  It also will upload an image by itself and put it in a folder.  Now i just need to tie those together and have the image put in the email as an attachment then deleted from server.

I have it at a stage where it sends me the users details.. and it tries to send the photo but it comes through as junk txt.  I think its the MIME encoding stuff that I have wrong.. not sure?

I have a one-page responsive website template with a built-in contact email form whereby I would like to add an upload file attachment provision to the contact form. While I have been able to successfully add two fields (source, URL) to the built-in contact email form, with exception of adding the HTML to the form , modification to the contact email form's PHP files  appears to be much more involved whereby I have been unable to find a barebones PHP code I can add to the existing PHP to make this work. I should also add that while I am well versed in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, I am not when it comes to PHP. In brief, I prefer not to replace the built-in contact form with different HTML and PHP for adding a contact form email file attachment.  Any suggestions regarding this subject matter are appreciated. Hey guys! I'm not that good with PHP, and I really need to finish this script. I'm having a hard time finding the problem..it keeps saying Error, query failed and I've also checked the database info, connectivity info and even tried a connection and database selection verification to see if that was working. Is there any other error you guys can find in the script that may be causing the message?

Edit: The files I want to be able to upload should be pdf's, txts, docs, etc. Would that be possible with this script?

How can i edit just one image at on time with a multiple image upload form? I have the images being stored in a folder and the path being stored in MySQL. I also have the files being uploaded with a unique id. My issue is that I want to be able to pass the values of what is already in $name2 $name3 $name4 if I only want to edit $name1. This is for a simple email client.

I am trying to create a delete button that deletes a message when in message view from the MySQL database. Bellow is what I have so far. Currently it sends an alert confirming the message has been deleted and goes back to the inbox view where, it is evident that nothing has been deleted. I have been looking everywhere, and can't find a simple example of scripting a confirmation email. Basically, I have a form that is submitting to a database. But when the user submits the form successfully (I already have the validation in place), it sends their submitted email address a confirmation email.

Currently the form submits, fills in fields in a database, and sends the user to a static thank you page. At this time I would like to send them the email. How can this be done somewhat simply?

hello friends,

while clicking the form all the information goes to database, I have one image upload field,
when cliking the submit button, i would like 'image name' to go in database and file to go in
/upload folder, i have tried this for hours and gave up,

if anyone help me in this, i would be very greatful

Hey everyone. I hope you can help me getting through this problem, because I have no idea of what else to try. I'm a web designer and sometimes modify Javascript, but my main focus is HTML and CSS, meaning I have no idea how to code in Javascript, but most importantly, how to write something from scratch in PHP.

So I designed a form that works pretty well, and integrated a PHP and Javascript script to make it work. This is the form:

So what it does is this: if everything's OK, it sends an email with "Hey!" as the subject, "[name]" as the sender, "Hello, [message]. Regards, [name], [location]" as the body, and a popup saying the message was delivered appears. If something fails, it outputs the error in a new address, so the user will have to go back to the form and correct the error.

What I actually want to happen is this: if everything's OK, a <p> which was hidden beneath the form appears saying the message was delivered, or, alternatively, make the submit button gray out and confirm the message was delivered. I found a script to make this happen, but with "Please wait...", so the user can't resubmit the form.

If there's an error, I'd like another <p> which was hidden to appear with the specific error, so there'd be many <p>'s hidden with different IDs. If possible, I'd also like to change the CSS style of the input field, specifically changing the border color to red, so it'd be a change in class for the particular field.

So in essence, I want the errors and the success messages to output in the same page as the form (without refresh), and a change of class in the input fields that have an error.
