PHP - Can't Get Retreived Data To Display In Form
I was told that I could retreive a db record and the fields would display in a form, which I could subsequently change and then update the db. If I am going about it the right way I just can't get the data to display. The echo appears to show I am getting a record.

However, when a mistake in the form occurs, all the data the user has entered are disappeared! I want the data to keep appearing so that the user does not start over again to fill the form. I want the form data to be 1) stored into a mysql database AND after storing said data, 2) email the same data to our sales department. 1) The form data DOES get stored into mysql database (except for the first two fields, for some weird reason) 2) I added a "mail" section to the php file that stores the data into the database, but it is not working correctly. I have stripped the email portion down to sending just one of the fields in the "message" to make it easier for troubleshooting I have included here, both the form section of the html file, and the formdata.php file that processes the data for your analysis. The form and program actually work for its intended function, but I am trying to enhance the user experience by preventing customers from having to reenter all of their data should there be a problem with any of the data submitted. I have been able to do that with the contact form portion, but what I am having trouble with is the portion which has as many as 400 possible entries. So, in a nutshell, if the customers contact data is incomplete or in error, the form will ask them to return to the page and correct things. They already entered their data and I feel there is a way to grab it and post it to mysql even though they do not click submit.
How would this be done?

I have the links with id displayed, but nothing is displayed when the link is clicks. I am developing a script for hospital. I have wards like General, Delux, ICU etc. Each ward can have number of patients. Each nurse will be allocated to some wards in weekly basis. Now I want to display for the nurse that how many patients are there in the ward which is allocated to her/him on that week. Here is my wards table
