PHP - Two Forms In One Page
Ok here are two of my form codes: Basically I like to use if/elseif, can someone please explain to me how these two form here can combine together so it will only have one form but do two different function (create and modify form). Then after these form being edit or create - it will go to another different page which is the confirmation page using sessions.

Thanks, Dave Hi guys, basically my problem is I have a jquery pop out window that holds a login form using the "require_once" function but when I enter my login details and send them, if there is another another form on the page e.g contact form it will send that form aswell so it will come up for the errors for the register form because they are empty. can anyone tell me how to stop this from happening? Okay, so I made a table, and each row is generated with a WHILE loop. In this while loop, there's also a form generated for each row/record, for updating them seperately. I'm having trouble with naming those forms to process them seperately. I could name them like name="form20110001", with the number being the record's id. But since there can be gaps between id's, how can I retreive them efficiently? And I want them to process all on a single process page, obviously. How can I do this easily? The first page is calculator_q1.php
No session variables are needed here, I have omitted a few options, the code looks like this

So far so good, but when I introduce page 3 (calculator_q3.php) then it prints the previous page's (from page 2) variable but can't find the session variable from question 1. This is from calculator_q3.php:

Hi, I know this has to be possible but I have been unable to get this to work properly. I have a page with two forms. '<br />'; } The first form works fine... when the "remove" submit button is clicked, it successfully removes any selected sources and then shows the remaining sources still associated, and then automatically populates this source in the below list (form 2) as one that is not selected. On the second form, when adding a new source to the subject, it successfully enters the data into the database, and removes this source from the list of unselected sources, but it does not seem to re-populate in the first form. The data is correct on the tables, but the page needs to reload the first query... how do I get it to do this? I'd like to be able to make this page editable, and re-editable (in case someone makes a mistake) without having to go back and reload the entire page. Note, both forms call the page itself; not sure if this is part of it. Hi, I have been trying to get the below code to work but without luck for the past couple of days. Can anyone help point out where i am going wrong. I have a webpage that has several buttons which will eventually let users search for data stored in different tables of a postgresql database ( i have simplified the code here to just two buttons). When the user clicks the Search for hostname button a form is displayed letting them type in their search criteria. I am starting to build out a class to handle forms. I want to be able to add and edit data in some cases and just add data in other cases. Also want to do some ajax stuff to prevent from having to reload the pages in certain cases. I would like to view how some other form classes work so I can model mine to what I like about others but suit my needs. I was wondering if anyone has worked with any preexisting form classes that they could recommend. I know libraries like zend and so on have these built in and wasnt sure if anyone liked any one specifically and why. Hi there, I'm new to php/MySQL. Just wondering how to create a multipage form with a back, save and submit button. Also, how do you stored the form data into the datebase and how do you display a list of submitted forms by the user to the user. ok i have a questions i making a form so when users sign up to my website they we have an account page and in the account page the will have some more fields they need to filll in which i would use INSERT to put the things inside my db but what if they want to update there account should i use UPDATE i need a form that is hidden until the user clicks a button on a calendar only Then the form will be visible and have a field for the day that way pressed on submit the form would go back to being invisible.

Hello, I just assembly a form and for styling it I am using CSS in an external file. Problem is that IE8 and I don't know about 7 (in IE9 is ok) it doesn't show the styling inside the form... We can show the forms with no problems, the problem lies when someone hits submit, how do I echo out the values of the form when I'm not sure what the input name or id is going to be?
