PHP - Best Way To Turn A Php Script Into An Executable?
I've tried to use this http://www.bambalam.se/bamcompile/ .. but I cant get curl to work using the option to set the extension.. I need it to be able to sign into myspace or facebook with curl when it is in an exe.. everything else works fine with bambalam, everything but curl and connecting to an mysql db, I dont need to have mysql support, only curl.. what would be the easiest way to make this happen?

I have a script that is designed for a single person, and I want a coder to design it to become an online service with user registration, etc. I'm weary of posting publicly the details about what the script does, but is something like that needed in order for a php programmer to take on a job? Could something like that be left out, until actually giving the coder the job? Do I have to give at least a vague idea of what the script does? I don't understand enough about what a programmer would need to know, but at the same time, I don't want to reveal my idea either. Can somebody help me on how much I am going to need to reveal? I need to extract the data from each of the <tr bgcolor="#EEEEEE">, scrape the text within each <td></td> and then format it in sql. so far i have removed the html not required and created an array by exploding "<tr bgcolor="#EEEEEE">", however, its creating an empty element in the first array index [0], to fix this i have tried $players = array_shift($players); however it removed everything from the array. next i was thinking i would need to remove all html within each array element and add a comma to the end, then i would need to compress it all back together again? would this be the best way to do this? source html

How do I turn a checkbox on or off programatically? My form has several checkboxes that are grouped together and I want them to be turned on initially when the user first sees the form.I can do that very easily by just including "checked" in the HTML for the checkbox. My form is not hooked up to a mysql database. Theoretically I think I would need to set something up that increments a number with each successful form submission. Then when the form hits a certain limit number like 300 it shuts off or hides the div that contains the form. Has anyone done something like this before? Any help or even just pointing me in the right direction is greately appreciated! |
