PHP - Delete All Rows With Check Box

Hey everyone i having some trouble updating records in my databse using checkbox from a form.

I can update the records, but i can't figure out how to remove records at the same time.

I've posted the code that i'm using to update below

This code inserts new records based on what the user checked. If it exist it won't add a new row, if it doesn't exist then it will add a new row. but like i said how can remove a row if the box is no longer checked?

I've tried using

foreach(empty($_POST['tag'] as $k => $l){
       $tag = empty($_POST['tag']['$k'];
}


But that didn't work basically nothing was deleted.

Has anyone done something like this before? if so i would appreciate any help you could give

Hello all, im new to this forum, im a noobie, just started coding about 3 weeks ago, don't be too hard on me.   My question is I wan't to check for challenges a user's team posted that have not been excepted after 1 day, then auto refund the user's team back there credits, and then also delete all the challenges. FYI here is the code i had, it works fine, however it will only delete 1 challenge per team, not all of there challenges.

alright so i was wondering if someone could make this work for you? then once its fixed you could post the code (by the way this is the third time, ive needed help with this same file its's only onefile so yeah, its supposed to pull out everything that was in the data base like the picture.

i have a text box and a button on my webpage and want to get the text box to find the username i type into it from the database and when it does it will then go to number and delete any text that is under usernames number field as you can see i have no idea how.

Is it possible to check if multiple rows exist at the same time.  For example, if a row with the id "1" and another row with id "2" exists, and return something like true then false if only the first exists?   I have a file that provides tens of thousands to check and it takes forever.  I know this sounds bad off the start, but it's not something that is run normally.  Only to update my database with new additions.   Is there any good way to check a lot at once?  I know you can insert many at a time and save a lot of time.

I really need some huge help on deleting rows with check boxes. Im completly lost on how to do this. Read some examples online and even with the code being small to do this i cant figure it out on intergrading it with the code I wrote. sorry that the code is long on this. I have decent comments though. At the very bottom i have started writing the delete code. My problem is figuring out how to make the script know what check box is checked. I have a select all check box  java script on this page too

Hi, I need help to check multiple rows for many columns, so that the script won't re-insert a duplicate entry. For eg:

*BUT I tried this and it says mysql_num_rows expects resource, and this warning only shows when I have multipel columns I want to compare (it works just fine with one column in the WHERE clause above)

Ok this is puzzleing. what Im basically trying to do is just like a phpmyadmin function... you select rows you want to update with a checkbox and then it takes you to a page where the rows that are clicked are shown in forms so that you can view and edit info in them... and then have 1 submit button to update them all at once.
